I am so proud of your Bella that she can stop the drugs and drinking, I just hope she can keep it up. To have him come back into her life is a wonderful thing. Love is never easy and sometimes painful but in the end if you find that right person then all is right with the world. So even though there will be ups and downs it will all be worth it in the end. Love your story.

Lilly

Author's Response:

Hey Lilly,

She is doing well so far. That us a lovely sentiment.

Here is the teaser it’s an “Edward POV”

“What are you two up to today?” Esme asked.

“I have yoga class, errands to run, and practice. What about you?” Bella asked me.

“Nothing,” I answered.

It was true; all I had on my schedule was being with her. It might have sounded pathetic, but my life before Alice threw me in Bella’s path again was even worse. My day would have included moping, groaning, cursing fate, arguing with myself, pinning for Bella, and growling at the thoughts of my family members—I would do all this while curled in a ball in my room. If it were a particularly bad day, I would have hidden in my walk-in closet to try and insulate myself even further from my family, the world, and my egregious mistake.

“Yoga class? Really? Our clumsy little Bella? Yoga?”  Emmett’s deep baritone bellowed in between laughs.

It seems like a busy morning at the Cullen house after a bumpy night for Edward and Bella. What will come next? Wait and see. I hope you enjoyed the teaser.

Thanks for reading and reviewing, it’s very much appreciated.

I some how managed to miss a chapter of your story so was lucky to be able to read two at once.  :)  It was nice to see them being able to do normal couplely things together.  They never really had that before.  Bella is once again the caregiver of others and I wonder if she relizes that she fills that role for her bandmates.  She has been such a mess that she probably thinks that they are all just the same but she is really mothering them.  Thanks for the great update.

Author's Response:

Hey zannesg,

Thank you for saying u were lucky to have two, I've said that to ff writers but to have ppl say to you means so much.

Yeah it was nice to see them get a change to just relax and be.

She is always the caregiver you're right, she just doesn't see it.

Well, Edward's learning. He isn't saying, "I told you so." That would be SUCH a mistake, especially now. The last thing Bella needs is him trashing the people who have been friends after going through Jake and Charlie's bullshit.

Author's Response:

Hey Bkwrm,

Ed is learning and trying. Oh it would have been, she would have... it wouldn't have been pretty. lol. Exactly they did quite the number on her.

Glad to see Bella hasn't let the "old Bella" take over when she's with Edward and she's kept her backbone. Can't wait for more.

I wonder how long Bella will have to use the "Shut up, I leaving!" routine before Edward realizes that emotionally they need to be equels in this relationship. Maybe Bella should suggest an idea - Just like Edward asks her what she's thinking all the time and she answer, he'll have to do the same.

Anyway something is got give with those two...

Great Chapter

=)

Author's Response:

Hey PiperSun,

Hmmm... you bring up very valid points. That is a great idea about trading thoughts. Right now, I  think Edward is afraid of losing her after all they have been through.

Thanks so much for the compliments.

Author's Response:

Hey mama,

Wow ur up to date! YAY!

You know two things:

1) I play it close to the vest

2) It's my story so yeah there will be drama. LOL

Here is the teaser it’s an “Edward POV”

“"No reason, the girls just…" she paused "…were giving me a hard time about you. They never give me a hard time about anything."

"Oh," I responded. I knew they didn't like her sobering up. Also, they were afraid to lose her because as much of a mess as my Bella might seem to be, from their thoughts, I gathered that she is still taking care of everyone around her. They see her as a shrewd manager who got paid at clubs that stiffed everyone else. Bella also wrote all their music and arranged most of their covers. Basically, without her, they would be lost. I knew if I told this to Bella, she would probably turn on me, thinking her girls would never be that selfish. I decided to let her work it out with her friends on her own; I knew better now than to meddle and overstep.

"They’re not used to seeing you with someone and are overprotective." It was true, but the rest she would have to find out on her own.

“Yeah—maybe,” she mused. Bella seemed to be contemplating something, but I didn’t want to interfere.”

Reviewer: boulderpa (Signed) · Date: February 08, 2011 08:44 PM · On: Life Raft

Ahh that could've gone a very different way! I am glad you didn't introduce some other random skanky dude with some sort of power over Bella as the root of her heading out to the bar. I don't think I could take much more drama.

Cool fate twistiness too with Bellas friends car being the reason she was there with the booze and the drug dealer while Edward is trapped behind said car trying to get to Bella and all the suspenseful  build up from Dear Alice.

I didn't mention it before, but I am not diggin' mean Charlie. I always think of him as the quintessential good Dad. Anytime in fic that he is portrayed as any less than wonderful I have a hard time believing it. I quess that if he'd been through so much with Bella's addictions and poor choices over time he would just have reached his limit, and clearly he's always rooted for Jake, but in my world, he would never choose Jacob or anyone over Bella.

Loving the story.

boulderpa

Author's Response:

 Hey BP,

Yeah it could have and DID and other versions of the chapter.

I didn't know if the car thing was okay or not, but one of my beta read ti and liked it so it stayed- I'm happy u agreed with her.

I get that about Charlie, but as much as I liked it him it always bothered me how he dealt with Bella and Jake after the kiss he forced on her. I think it's more a case of him being at his wits end and it is really just tough love. I think he might be pushing Jake so hard to show her there another "better" and "healthier" relationship options in  her life, even if its just friends. Also everyone ways saying that Bella was too hard on Charlie  and he hadn't done anything...so this is the version of Charlie who's a cop and had to deal with an out of control kid. I get your POV though.

thanks so much and I'm happy ur enjoying it. I also love that you read and review and I love that!

Cheers,

It feels like they passed a great hurdle but now the drinking is going to be the big source of trouble. I don't believe that she can cope without it and even if their relationship is not the source of the trouble, things are going to happen that push her to substances and piss Edward off.

See? Growth lol. I hope you enjoyed the teaser.

Thanks ever so much for reading and reviewing.

I am so glad that they were able to have a great afternoon together.  Now I am looking forward to an great NIGHT together.  Will they be "doing the deed" tonight??????   I certainly hope so and I think that he will do it and she isn't going to take no as an answer.  He already seems as if he wants to.  I am sure that once the floodgates open, there will be stopping him from sleeping with her.  At least I hope so.  THANKS FOR THE AWESOME READING.  Sher

Author's Response:

Hey Sherri,

Yeah they earned some fluffy, sweet time.

Hmmm...what do you think will happen? hmmm... interesting.
