Just started reading and even though it's...3:40 am, I had to review for a couple of reasons (kismet). 1) I couldn't sleep after finding your fic because it's really good. I really needed to start another fic like I need another hole in my head, but this story is really good! Thanks so much for writing it! 2) your beta Mel is also (I am 99.9 % sure it is her) a fan of one of my favorite fics by written by vjgm and I trust Mel because she helped me out once and 3) I am currently wearing OPI's 'Lincoln Park After Midnight', in honor of my favorite city ever (not to mention my hometown). I just stopped drinking myself.. a little over 2 weeks ago. It tore up my stomach the last year or so and my hang overs would last 2 or more days, even from just a couple drinks.. so even though I thought I needed it.. I quit.. It is hard. But its possible to have fun without it.

This chapter was just so wonderful from the onset with them finally starting to live their life together. She was finally starting to get comfortable in her own skin and having fun with the family. Edward's proposal was just so sweet and romantic, but that is our Edward, sweet and romantic, still a bit of a drama queen, but I love that drama queen. But, ust as in feal life, once you feel like everything is going so well, something has to come and bit you in the ass. I feel really bad that she lost her friend....that is certainly a difficult thing to handle as I have experienced it with my family. I lost my brother at 29 and it is palin FUCKED UP. I just hope that she does not do anything to stupid. I don't know why she would shut her phone off and go out without calling Edward. That makes me mad at her because he is her finance and she needs to be honest with him and not make him worry as I know for a fact that when he comes home and finds her gone and cannot get her on the phone, he will certainly go nuts. I just hope that Alice will be able to find out where she is and he stop her from doing something she will only regret later. THANKS FOR THE AWESOME WRITING. Sher

This was a great chapter! (Except the end was very sad.)
I loved the proposal and Bella's acceptance. It was wonderful! Cullen family time was wonderful as well. :)
In the beginning of the chapter, I thought Edward and Bella were going to fight, but I'm glad they didn't.
Liza dying wasn't a shock. I wish I could say it was, but it wasn't. Hopefully the other girls won't follow her path.
Hopefully Bella went to therapy to talk things through, or to someone else to talk to...I hope she's not going to a bar. But, I don't think she is. She's stronger now.
I can't wait to see what will happen next!

Dammit! I reviewed this afternoon and apparantly didn't click send. Ugh, this will be difficult to recreate, but I'll try. Wow! You ran the full gammit with this chapter and it was brilliant! The proposal, Bella referring to Alica and Rose as her sisters was a nice touch and it was so nice to see everyone doing so well. I'm not sure if you've written a relapse or not. It seems Bella is strong enough to resist, so I'm not sure if she is going to a meeting (though I doubt it). I imagine she is going to Play or to visit the girls in Brooklyn, either of which could be dangerous territory for her if she isn't careful. Of course as I'm sure everyone will agree, I truly hope she doesn't use. Why didn't she call Rose. Always so stubborn. Either way, I trust they'll make it through this and if she does relapse, hopefully its a one time thing. Ugh, poor kid. She just can't catch a break!

I always thought Bella and Edward would be fine without the influence of others. sigh... Liza is still messing things up for Bella beyond the grave, Charlie doesn't seem to want to let go of being 'mean' to her. sigh... I don't like reading about relapse, so I hope that Bella is strong. :)
