Hooray for Bella finally seeing she needs help & doing something about it!
I imagine it must suck to realize she needs another month but if that's what it takes, then I guess she doesn't have a choice.
It never ceases to amaze me how people don't fully understand how bad some things are for you until they find themselves struggling to overcome an addiction. I'm glad I never got caught up in any vices.
Author's Response: Hey mom,
LOL I know, FINALLY!
Yeah both her and I need the time- I need the time because I have more rehab story to tell, and well she wouldn't last on the outside right now.
I know me too, but I like to liken it to any obession. Like when you read an extra few ch of fanfic instead of going to bed or have a piece of cake you know you shouldn't ...not the same but it's how I relate. lol
This teaser is un-beta’ed and subject to change.
Edward POV:
“The phone rang and with it came a sense of sweet relief.
"Hello?" I answered politely just in case it wasn't Bella, but rather an administrator.
"Hey, baby," she cooed happily.
"Hi, love. How are you? You sound so much better," I told her.
"I am. I think the last few days everything started clicking. Then, seeing you yesterday reminded me what I have to fight for. I think I had given up... I was wallowing in self-pity. I told Dr. Martin that today and she was thrilled with my progress. This was the first time I really and truly opened up. I did the same with Dr. Chase, too," she explained brightly.
"I'm so happy to hear that, love, you have no idea," I replied.
"I have more good news... Guess who gets to have a visitor on Sunday?"
"Really, love?" I was surprised, as Dr. Martin hadn’t made up her mind on the subject when I saw her.
"Yeah. I don't care about the birthday part, but you can come after ten and can stay until six."”
Warning the ch is not all sunshine and roses despite the teaser.
Thank you for taking the time to read and reivew.
Wishing you the a happy and healthy New Year.
Cheers,
~E

Wow i loved this chapter so so so so much !!!! i loved the phone call at the end ! i loved how edward was with bella so sweet and strong ! i loved it !
Author's Response: Hey Red,
Aww thanks, I really needed to read such kind words today.
Edward is trying really hard, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Here is the teaser it is un-beta’d and in Bella’s POV:
“I was pulled from my racing thoughts by the soft click of the door that signaled Dr. Martin’s entrance.
“Good afternoon, Bella. How are you today?” she asked.
I shrugged. I had abandoned my stock response of fine a few days before, but just couldn’t muster up an answer. In fact, I didn’t feel I had the words to describe my inner turmoil even if I felt so inclined.
“I’ve spoken with Dr. Chase, he said you seemed to open up with him; however, you closed right up afterward. Bella, we can’t help you if you don’t let us. You need to open up.” She lectured me, yet again.
“I know, I’m trying,” I muttered clearly distracted.
Open up. Spill your guts. Bare your soul and we’ll fix you. Some days it seems easy, and on others I felt like it would be making a deal with the devil.”
Thank you for taking the time to read and review. I enjoy getting the feedback and your comments make me happy.
Know that the next update will be delayed a little as it is REALLY long and taking some time to edit.

I played the song Call and Answer while reading the end and it was a nice way to end the chapter, so thank you for that! :D

Poor... well, everybody. Bella hates to be a burden, but she's been realizing that her addiction causes her to be more of a burden, which depresses her (along with other factors), which makes her want to use again. I'm really interested to see whether you eventually reconcile the Charlie and Renee' issues. That, I have a feeling, will be explosive for somebody.
Author's Response: Hey Mimi,
Yes Bella hates being a burden.
Reconciling with Charlie and Renee...don't hold your breath.
Fireworks will be in the future.

The pills will help balance the serotinin in her brain, until her body can balance it on its own.
Can't wait until Bella gets out of rehab so they can have some more steamy fun;)

I hope the pills really do help her.
Steamt fun is in the forcast...just a ways off.
