I'm happy for the engagement, it was so sweet to include Carlie and so lovingly presented by father and daughter but the D/s thing ruined it for me. Sorry but I can't reconcile the two in my head any longer. I feel sick for Bella because it feels to me that while she very much wants and enjoys kinky sex with Edward, her heart isn't into the D/s role. She does it only because he wants it. It doesn't seem to be a true part of her nature. Of course, this is only how it reads to me. I can almost hear her thinking, why can't we just have great kinky sex, continue to be ourselves and forget the rest.
