Hmmm, well, apparently it's a good thing she got out since no one ever bothered to talk to her even once after moving out of Edward's. How weird that all these people who loved her so much would just let her go without a word. Not one word after she moved out... it's bizarre... and unforgivable. Hope she finds some nice people in Washington.

i have read alot of the reviews for this chapter and i have to agree with most of them ,what an absolute cluster first you have them fighting at christmas to the point of bella leaving then having them makeup and facing the school board (which was great) then a proposal (fantastic) now this breaking up (again) no fight just resignation are these two people adults or what????? cmon there smarter than that ,i can only hope for a somewhat quick resolution and that this doesn't drag out ,edwards a smart man with means and lawyers so surely this isn't rocket science he can get it sorted (or is this all a cunning plan to get rid of jessica for once and for all by thinking that bella is out of the picture) either way this lastest turn of events gave me the shits (not gonna lie) but hey you wanted thought provoking so those are my thoughts

I'm a bit disappointed with Bella and Edward for giving up so easily. Obviously they are both not ready to be together "for better or for worse". Hopefully their being apart makes them see what they are missing.
Surely some private investigator should dig up some dirt about her as well, it's hard to believe that someone so selfish and evil has lived without some wrongdoing or other.

I have never had such a strong reaction to any fiction in my life until this chapter.
This is too much angst and not realist. The letter that Jess sent to Bella says that Bella "led Edward into the B/S lifestyle". Where is the proof in that? She and Edward never went to any clubs or parties that I recall. Everything that was done in the lifestyle was in private, except for that night with Carmen. Jess signed on her parental rights. She is harrassing Edward and the family. She tried to kidnapp Carlie, and forged a letter to present to the school. That fuckery wouldn't fly in any court of law.
And I hate that Bella's character has just been broke-the-fuck-down to the point of becoming a cat lady, running out of town, and giving away her prized possesions. Even in fiction, somone could never recover from all of this mess.
I love your work, but I need you to fix this ASAP. This is still my most favorite story, and I will ride it out.

Sobs...I am so sad. I am not mad at either of them for the decision. Bella really is Carlie's mother, she was willing to sacrifice her own happiness for the sake of her daughter. Jessica should be hanged. I hope that Edward deals with her swiftly and finds a way to eliminate the possibility of her coming back later. Then he can get on a plane with Carlie and they can propose to her again. I know it cant be that easy but one could hope. Please don't leave us hanging long (just Jessica, you can leave her hanging for as long as you want).

In a good way though. I liked the intensity of the chapter, but hated the fact that Edward so willingly let her go - his family doesn't talk to her, and then Bella just leaves. I'm really looking forward to seeing how you develop the story. I liked the fact that the D/s sex didn't play a role in this chapter - I think the D/s relationship has had a waaay too huge role in this story, and I miss the love from the early chapters.
Can't wait for an update tho.
