I have a bad feeling about Jessica. I suppose it's completely possible she now wants to know her daughter. People change. However, it's also possible that it's all about $ and Jessica will abandon Carli once she's paid off. That would crush Carli. Edward's in a difficult position. How does he protect his daughter?

Just a little creepy? THe nerve of Carmen to persue Edward and even try to win him for herself after he introduced Bella! I'm glad he told her off the way he did, hope Bella doesn't have to suffer too much because of the BS Carmen fed her. Can't wait to find out what happened in the ladies' room.

How horrible of Carmen to not only treat Demetri as an accessory, not a man with emotions and dreams and desire, but also to cruelly flaunt her previous relationship with Edward in Bella's face. I am glad Edward told Carmen off for what she did. She deserved worse.

Yea, the missing scene. I think you did a great job with Edward telling Carmen how life was. I hope Bella heard that and didn't take anything Carmen said to heart. Poor Demitri. Well, he'll probably find someone who loves him soon right? Not mad about the cliffie. It was a good stopping point.

Well that was totally unexpected. I didn't think Carmen would declare her love for Edward. I just guessed she would talk about their sexual exploits and make Bella feel inadequate. But she's a stalker!! Yes, I can't wait to see what happened in the bathroom-for 15 minutes!! It is always rough to meet the old lovers and with the type of relationship Carmen and Edward had it must have been even harder for Bella. Great chapter-can't wait for the next one.
