Absolutely loved this chapter! Lots of emotions going on for them, just as it should be!

This just about did me in: "Me too. But I'm desperate to make love to you."  Gah! I love the way you write these two! So connected to each other, feeling their way through their relationship, oblivious to everything around them. *Sigh*

Hmmm... do I sense something on the horizon with Tom and Sarah? Will DWTD be crushed again?

I love what you wrote about Rob and Gemma being so connected and feeling their way through their relationship. That hit the nail on the head, really! They're always so aware of each other, even if they're not close. And yep, they're certainly oblivious to everything around them. They're still very much in their happy little bubble, which could be a good or a not-so-good thing. Hmm!

Hehee, quite a few people wanted Tom and Sarah to hook up. Daniel WTD be damned, apparently! But no... Daniel and Sarah are happy. He's safe, it's okay. :)

Nope, they really didn't get much talking done, did they? They started though, and he apologised profusely. Gemma's never been good at staying mad with Rob for long periods of time! And no, not a lot can compete with Rob's imperfect cheesy pasta bake and make-up sex. :)

Great to hear you enjoyed the chapter. As for when they will make their relationship public? Hmm, they will get there eventually, but I always wrote this story to be more about their relationship as people, and all the good and bad that comes with that, rather than Robert Pattinson, the 'superstar'. That comes into it too of course, and they will get there eventually. For now, my lips are sealed! :)

I'm lovin' your story.  I'm glad that she & Rob worked out the events at the R Bar.  I'm hoping that you'll be having things work out as Rob said he was in it for the long haul.  And I'm hoping that they will be talking all of it out in the very near future to help ease the questions in her mind about -  their future!

On another key point...  even though I really like Daniel and do not want to see him get hurt because he is a great guy.  But I think that Sarah & Tom would make a cute couple.  It sounded like he could really like her given the chance.

I can't wait to read the next chapters.

I'm glad they worked out things out after the R Bar events too. They really do adore each other and although there's some bumps along the way, I always promised a happy ending to this story. Rob was being honest when he told Sarah that he's in this for the long haul - he just has a few moments when he freaks out along the way! He is just a guy, after all.

A few people wanted Sarah and Tom to hook up! Hehee, poor Daniel with the dimples. He and Sarah are happy though, so I'm afraid to say there won't be any Sarah / Tom happening at the moment!

What a sweet chapter! Love seeing a little crack in Sarah's armour in regards to her crush on Tom. Her words of warning to Rob were perfect. Scary enough to make him think she meant it but not overbearing. She knows her place. Hey I love The little mermaid too! Funny. Tom and Gemma's discussion worried me. Why is everyone so concerned he's going to fuck it up again? I wish she could have spoken to him more but he was so determined to move on which makes me even more concerned! Bring on the next chapter SB. Awesome story.

PS. Shower and couch scenes? Hot!!!

Sarah certainly came unglued in regards to Tom, didn't she?! It's really the first time we've seen her go all fangirly and speechless. Who knows what might have happened if Daniel wasn't around!? I'm glad you liked her words to Rob though - she's very protective of Gemma and certainly isn't afraid to tell it like it is!

Sorry I worried you in regards to Gemma and Tom's discussion about Rob. Gemma was a bit worried too! We'll have to wait and see what happens there. Hmm!

Tom made me nervous!!!! Is Rob going to freak again?  I love Tom, he is such a sweetie, and you added the little fem trait in there (at least in his voice) that had to be added to keep it real:) 

I wonder when Gemma is going to experience the papparazi mayhem? I wonder if it will scare her off? 

As always the love and connection they feel for eachother melts me. 

Side note:  Husband says to me the other day about Rob.."He's going to break your heart when it comes out he's gay"  Ugh!

Oh, Tom... He made Gemma a bit nervous too for a moment there! We'll have to wait and see what he meant about Rob pushing people away. He adores Gemma though, so as Tom said, hopefully this will be different. I'm glad you liked Tom though - he's lots of fun to write!

As for Gemma experiencing the paparazzi mayhem, hmm. This story has always been about Rob and Gemma's relationship as people, rather than about him as the 'superstar'. That's a part of it of course, because it has to be, but the paparazzi and fans aren't a huge part of it. That being said, they will deal with that whole thing eventually. Wow – what a fabulous chapter.  Not only did you have wonderful smexy interaction with Rob and Gemma, but you brought Tom to meet Sarah and Ally!  And Gem received her more than deserved “I’m sorry” from Sam.  And yes, Sarah got her 2 cents with Rob.  Perfect.

But for me Sarah and Tom stole this chapter.

Wouldn’t we all love to have friends in our corner like Sarah and Tom.

Sarah is the epitome of a true friend.   When she discovers that Tom is coming – "Tom? Tom Sturridge is coming here?"   The first time that I have noticed a crack in her perfect personality.  Awesome.  

“He's just another one of these British dudes we happen to find ourselves hanging out with lately." Was my favorite line from Ally about Sarah’s weakness for Tom.   Written so exceptionally well.

And then Gemma’s thought  -  “Rob was in her house every other night, but the moment Tom comes over, she freaks out? “  I came unglued – visualization of Gemma’s smirk, for me, is beyond words.

And Tom.  Dedicated friend to Rob.  His lines - "He's so fucking in love with you. You know that, right?  The last time I saw you both, you were still getting to know each other. I was convinced he loved you even then, but he wouldn't admit it. And now look at the two of you. You're fucking inseparable. It's like you've been married for twenty-five years, except that you still can't keep your hands off each other."  Sometimes I think he knows Rob better than Rob knows himself.

But when Tom says “Just love him, Gem. Love him as much as he loves you and you'll both be fine."  Great advice to Gemma.  But still ever the worrywart about Rob.

Bee – I think you need to let Sarah have just a little fling with Tom – even if in an outtake!!!!  Sarah so deserves this.  DWTD doesn’t need to know.  We would keep it between us.   I know – something else for you to write that only I would read!!!

I fluv these special guys.  You are brilliant when you write about them.  Thank you so much for these guys and their story.   And yes, can’t wait for the next update.

So this was a pretty big chapter, wasn't it!? Lots happened, as you pointed out. Smexiness, Tom meeting Sarah and Ally, and yes, Gemma got her apology from Sam! Whew.

I'm so glad you like Sarah and Tom... I love your suggestion of them having a little fling behind Daniel's back! Bwah, ha! Hilarious! Quite a few people wanted them to hook up, actually! So scandalous! But I'm afraid, no. She likes Daniel with the dimples too much to go there. Who knows what might have happened if he wasn't around though!?

Sarah really is a good friend. She and Gemma have known each other since forever, so they're more like sisters, really. She's certainly not afraid to tell it like it is, and can be pretty protective too. She and Rob have had their little words now... Phew! Her little crush on Tom really was the first time we've seen Sarah get all girly and speechless though. 

And aww, Tom is a lovely friend to Rob, isn't he? He was good with the advice this chapter, too - even if some of it made Gemma worry a little. I think you're right in that he knows Rob better than Rob knows himself at times! And he certainly seems to know a lot about their relationship, too, thanks to Rob oversharing. I think that's what they'd be like in real-life though, too. If you were having a relationship with Rob, you'd also be in a side relationship with Tom! Purely platonically, I mean! Those pictures of Rob and Kristen (gasp, who!?) kissing in Montreal with Tom just standing there looking on always make me giggle.

The next chapter shouldn't be too far away. I always submit the next chapter right away since they're mostly all written now, but it usually takes my beta a week or so to validate them. There's a little visual teaser in the forums though, if you want to check it out!

Gawd... I cant stand the way nearly all characters are so forgiving... Because I get annoyed at the characters for just accepting an apology without an actual apology (even though he did say sorry she had stillaccepted it before he'd even said it... But then we wouldnt have had any make-up sex.. Lol.. So I guess I can put up with it this time..

Yep, apologies = makeup sex!! You can't really have one without the other, I'm afraid! Gemma has always been pretty forgiving of Rob - she's just not very good at staying mad at him. That being said, he had already apologized profusely in the previous chapter too, on the phone when he called her. This chapter was him apologizing again!! So really, he said sorry until he was blue in the face. And made it up to her in other ways too. ;)
