I wasn't sure if I would enjoy your story, but I am happy to say that it has become one of my favorites.  I can't wait for the update!  Story is a definite 10!!

Aw, I don't think Gemma is really stringing them along - at least not intentionally. She's just so unsure about the whole Rob thing. I don't think she's really a dangerous or a stupid person... although we all have our moments! I try to write the characters as real as possible. We all make silly choices sometimes!

I loved this chapter.  I was sad at the beginning but you had everything work out okay by the end.  I would want to invite him over too, but I think she did the right thing.  I think that they're date is going to go very well tomorrow night, and that they will be able to be with each other then.  Who knows, the night might end in a nighttime cuddle and morning snuggle.  Well, here's hoping!

WOW! I absolutely loved this chapter! I squealed like an idiot reading it! The writing was extraordinary, mellifluous, and just so darn perfect! Thank you so very much for this story.  It always brightens up my day that much more.  I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate you doing this simply out of the goodness of your heart.  You take the time to write and share the story..gaining nothing in return and I can’t thank you enough.

Excellent chapter! Gemma oh Gemma…as much as I absolutely adore her…I wanted to shake her a tinsy bit during the “wake up” scene.  Maybe it’s just me or I might be missing something, but I couldn’t understand what Rob did to upset her so much.  He said “I’ll call you later”, why was that so wrong of him to have said? He was obviously in a hurry to make it to work on time (doesn’t it just irk you the way that men can just wake up and go without any fuss?) so what the heck did he do wrong? He kissed her goodbye and said he’d call her later…I know she wasn’t aware of the fact that he had her telephone number, and believed him to be lying because of it, but still…It wouldn’t have been difficult for him to obtain her cell phone number from Marcus who could have easily asked Ally, Sarah or Bobby etc...You know what? I just realized that  I don’t understand her reaction because at 18, I’ve never been in her shoes.  I’ve never had my heart trampled on by Aaron the loser, never been made to feel inferior, or had a wedding engagement cancelled.  Her self esteem is so low, so off course she would immediately jump to the worst case scenario and wouldn’t take the time to analyze the situation the way that I would have.  To me “I’ll call you later” means just that.  To Gemma it means something else entirely…bringing forth all of her fears and insecurities about herself :(.  Her fears and insecurities makes me want to hunt down Aaron and rip his testicles out!

"He taught me that I'll never understand women and I shouldn't try anymore."

HAHAHA! I LMAO when I read that line even though it was being utilized during a sad moment.  Kudos to Gemma for being completely honest with Rob regarding her feelings, and also explaining her motivations in not taking the shirt home with her and also about the comment that she made to Marcus. I liked the Marcus and Gemma talk by the way.  It was nice of him to attempt to soothe her fears even though he was unsuccessful.  I MISS BOBBY LONG! LOL!   Anyway, Gemma and Rob will be just fine provided they keep being completely honest with one another.  Gemma is wonderfully adorable even though she does tend to jump to the wrong conclusions.  Before I forget…Loving Sarah and Bobby’s developing relationship! You can go in any directions with these two and it will be absolutely perfect.  I love the brother/sister vibe they seem to have going, but once again wouldn’t be oppose to it developing into something more.  They are hilarious together and I’ll take them in any category. The original Nightmare on Elm Street also happens to be a favorite of mine! I absolutely love Johnny Depp in it! The scene in his bedroom after Freddy kills him…with all of the blood…is amazing!

Back to the review..Kudos to Gemma for not inviting Rob over! LOL, I don’t think that I could have been as strong! He is so obviously into her though, it’s sweet.  I don’t know how I feel about her contacting Daniel again.  I know she told him that she would, and there’s really nothing wrong with it but still..Daniel seems to be a really nice guy and I don’t want to see him hurt.  I know that Gemma isn’t the type, and she might not even be aware of it, but I almost get the feeling that Daniel is her plan B, because she is so sure that things will not last with Robert.  I love her childlike ways :). 

In conclusion, LOL! I have to make greater efforts to connect with Marcus and Ally.  I don’t understand why I’m not as attached to them as I am to Bobby, Sarah, Gemma and Rob..especially Gemma, as she is my absolute favorite. Excellent chapter once again, can’t wait for the Marcus gig and the purple dinosaur shirt! Oh and the texts at the end were HOT!

I'm so glad you liked the chapter, even if some of Gemma's reactions confused you a bit. And thank you, for thanking me! I LOVE writing this story, so I do get something out of it too. I love Gemma and Rob and I have lots of fun writing about them. And it makes me so happy that other people seem to like them too. Reading reviews like yours is the best thing I could ever receive in response... Aside from a large cash bonus perhaps, but whatever. So thank YOU for reading and reviewing!

So I know, Gemma over-reacted to Rob saying, "I'll call you later". But even though you say you don't understand it, you totally do! As you said, she's had her heart broken and her self-esteem is pretty low. She never imagined anything would actually become of their night together, so when Rob said he'd call her, her thoughts immediately went to "But you don't have my number," and she thought he was just brushing her off. If she had have stopped to think about it, she might have realized that he could get her number from Marcus or Bobby, but she didn't stop to think. She suspected the worst, because that's where her head is at the moment with boys. Especially boys she really likes. She's just scared to have her little heart trampled on again!

Aww, I like the line about not understanding women, too. Poor Rob, he was so confused! Hehee. He really had no idea what he'd done wrong. Luckily, they're good at talking and being honest, so they fixed things up pretty quickly. Phew. :)

Don't worry, there's plenty more Bobby Long in the next chapter! I like Sarah and Bobby's relationship (or whatever!) too.  Gemma desperately wants there to be something between the two of them, but is there? Hmmm, time will tell!

Nightmare on Elm Street terrifies me. I saw it when I was little and couldn't sleep for ages! I have no idea why i was allowed to watch it, but gah! *shudder* Do you know what? I didn't even know Johnny Depp was in it! Wow. Duh, me!

As for Gemma contacting Daniel... she only did it after googling Robert Pattinson, right?! Hmm. Rob didn't seem "real" to her at that point, and Daniel is so real and safe. That being said, I don't think Daniel is her Plan B. I think she's still just trying to work out what she wants, and can't really accept that the Rob thing is actually going to lead anywhere. Daniel was around first, so she's really just proceeding with their plans as normal. Does that make sense!? I hope so! Daniel will be okay though, don't worry. :)

Hmm, sorry you're not as attached to Marcus and Ally as you are to the rest of them. But everybody has their favorites, right!? So that's okay. They have a different way of operating than Gemma and Rob. I think they're both pretty cool and laid-back, really. Ally's fun and definitely knows what she's doing, and Marcus is just... Marcus. I totally see him as the fatherly, sensible one of the Brit-Pack. His gig and the purple dinosaur shirt is coming right up!

First let me say kudos to you for making Gemma strong enough to turn down Rob when he asked her to invite him over… Because let me tell you,  I would have given him directions to my house so fast his head would spin…  I enjoy this story so much I found myself grinning like an idot over the text message they were sending back and forth and I can see why Gemma would be a little mad and insecure over when Rob said he would call her.

 

My only question to you is what is going to happen with “Dan with the Dimples” ? How could you make a date with him when you have Robert Pattinson interested in you!?!?   I know; I know she unsure of the Robster.

Haha, I would have been right with you, giving Rob directions to my house for the late night booty call. But that's what makes her Gemma... She overthinks things. She likes Rob, but she's not quite ready to admit that to herself yet. She's been hurt in the past and is overly cautious at the moment, to protect herself.

Which is also why she contacted Daniel with the dimples. He's still the safe, easy choice. If you don't really like someone, you're not going to get hurt, right?! She texted him right after she'd been googling Rob. He didn't seem "real" to her at that point, hence the security blanket of Daniel.

Don't worry, Daniel with the dimples won't be around forever. Is that big enough of a hint for you? ;)
