I was very surprised and pleased that Rob invited himself to Gemma's friends party, was shocked at her reluctance to bring him...  I get the whole she is worried about people finding out he has a girlfriend but she was thinking about her ex finding out to some degree.... If it were my ex's friends party I would definitly be taking a guy ....... And If I had RobPat!!! I would be strolling(strutting) in that party like (you may have dumped me but look who wants  me!!) Oh yay I would be workin it!!!

I can't wait to see where you are going with the Kristen thing!?!? I still am hoping maybe for a jealous Kristen finding a naked Gemma in his appt. Anyways should be very intrusting with her thinking Rob is not serious about Gemma..

Aw, thanks so much for your lovely words, yet again! You make me blush! :)

Rob can be pretty persistent when he wants to be, can't he? He totally invited himself to Max's party, good for him! As for Gemma, I think she was just completely overwhelmed at the thought of bringing him along. Aaron (her ex) won't be there anyway, so I don't think that was really the issue. It was more that Rob is her first real boyfriend since Aaron, and he wants their first official 'outing' to be at a party full of her ex's friends. I think that would be a pretty difficult thing to do.

I totally get your side of things too though - I'd be totally bring Robert Pattinson along! Hehee!

And oooh, Kristen. I hope you won't be mad when I tell you that the Kristen thing isn't going to be a major issue in this story. I always wrote it as a Rob and Gemma story... not a Kristen story. She really doesn't play a very big part in it. I hope you still decide to stick with Rob and Gemma, even if there's no jealous KStew! Rob had his big talk with her and told her that he was pretty serious with Gemma. We don't know exactly how she took to that news, but probably not very well, considering Rob didn't tell Gemma much about the phonecall at all.

Ahhh!  Rob can't keep secrets!  Why doesn't that surprise me? I love he was all nervous when they arrived at the restaurant.  So Rob...One minute a sex God, the next minute all nerves again!  I can picture him like this. And it's so great to see that they can do something normal like go for dinner together without hassle. Lovely.

"Is it wrong that I just want to fuck you right here on the roof?"  Oh my goodness!  Fanning self here!  Nervy Rob left the building then!

He looked at me purposefully.  "See?"  See, I would've died right there. Flipping heck!

I loved the Facebook interactions.  Eeeek! Aaron!  But Rob - the pussy comment!  If I think about Rob saying ‘pussy' I just get maniacal giggles! 

He's a little unrelenting about the party, isn't he?  Hmmn...Not sure whether that's just Rob wanting to go with Gemma to meet her friends, or if he's being a little territorial.

It was so cute how Rob and Ben had that little exchange about what they'd both gotten into!  So realistic.

Errm, naughty things....yes, indeed!  It's fantastic how bold Gem is with Rob.  Brilliant.  You write their ‘naughty' times beautifully.  Sexy but comfortable - that's how best I can describe it right now.  I'm still reeling from *ahem* oral Rob.

Aww, nervous Rob! He definitely has his moments where his nerves get the better of him, and it usually has to do with when he's trying to make a good impression... Gemma going to his apartment for the first time, visiting him on the set, taking her to the restaurant... Yep, nervous Rob definitely shows his face now and then! He also has a bit of a habit of blurting anything and everything out before he thinks about it, hence the "Is it wrong that I just want to fuck you right here on the roof?" question. Hehee. Silly Rob.

Eeeek, Aaron indeed! Rob was on his best behaviour then though, wasn't he? He'd promised Gemma after the Daniel debacle that he would try to control that jealous streak, and he was trying so very hard to be good with the Facebook stuff! Even despite the pussy comment. Hehee. I'd giggle too. And probably faint.

He is a bit unrelenting about the party, you're right. And this is where I love reading reviews! Some people are a bit cross with Gemma for not accepting his offer to take her straight away, and others (like you!) are suspicious of Rob. I'm kind of in between somewhere - I don't think Gemma meant anything sinister by saying no to him; she was just overwhelmed by the thought of it. And as for Rob? I think he's only unrelenting because he wants her to go to the party and have fun without being worried about Aaron stuff. And because he wants to be 'normal' for a night and go to a fun party with her. Hmm. We'll find out what they decide to do in the next chapter!

Sexy but comfortable. That's a lovely way to describe their 'naughty' times! And yay for newbies... until Chapter 30, remember!? You're a bit closer than me!

Whoa! This chapter was indeed naughty but oh so very good! You will never believe the discussions that this chapter sparked amongst my friends at dinner yesterday. I don’t know if I have mentioned this before, but I've gotten about 10 of my friends hooked on Robert and Gemma. We even started this little Gemma club amongst us just for fun. It’s nothing organized and the only activity we have consists of  occasionally getting together when we have the time, to read and discuss the new chapters.  LOL, we've only been able to come together about 8 times or so.  Well guess what! I was summarily kicked out of the Gemma club for making an innocent comment  regarding this chapter.  Don’t worry it was all in jest, but man did it start a beauty of a debate.  Maybe I should backtrack a little bit.  We all decided to have dinner together yesterday.  After gossiping about school and significant others for a period of time, the conversation eventually led to your new chapter.  Everyone loved it off course and ooh’ed and ahh’ed appropriately.  My friend Melissa mentioned how wonderful she found the Facebook conversation and credited this chapter for making her realize the potential pitfalls of retaining old photographs of her ex boyfriend on her profile, especially now that she has a new boyfriend.  She then confessed to having removed all of her ex boyfriends photographs out of her Facebook  account as soon as she finished reading the new chapter.  I was shocked to hear a lot of the other girls at the table echoing the same sentiment.  I’m ashamed to say that I blatantly laughed at them and rejoiced in my hate of all social networking sites.  Their reactions, as well as Gemma’s situation with Robert viewing the profile photo’s of Aaron and herself, made me feel vindicated in my hate of Facebook.  I've always had a snobbery against social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace.  I had a giant fit when I discovered that my Blackberry came with Facebook preinstalled.  Needless to say, it has long been disabled!  There's never been a valid reason behind my snobbery other than the fact that, I have always been determined to be against what the majority is for; just because the majority is for it.  Stupid I know, but that’s just one of my many deficiencies that I’ve yet to conquer. 

Bla, I can already tell that this is going to be one long review…I apologize in advance.  Anyway, I digressed…While the Facebook episode proved to be the most important part of that conversation for my friends, that was not the case for me.  After reading that scene, my first thought was that Gemma accidentally messed up during the party discussion.  I said as much to my friends, and this is what led to them kicking me out of the Gemma Club, LOL.  I absolutely adore Gemma and hardly ever have anything negative to say about her.  As a matter of fact, I don’t recall ever finding an action of hers questionable before. However, her hesitance in accepting Robert’s offer of escorting her to the party is a disaster in the making.  She was right in thinking the conversation to be far from over.  I’ve rarely been baffled by a reaction of Gemma’s, but find myself exactly that right now.  I’m starting to realize that Gemma still hasn’t fully comprehend the extent of Robert’s insecurities in regards to their relationship.   He really believes that she can do better than him…that she deserves much better than somebody like him.  I know he didn’t show it, but her refusal in allowing him the honor, of attending the party as her escort; had to have hurt on some level…even subconsciously.  I really understand and believe the reasons she offered for her unwillingness in allowing to  him attend, but I just think there is a lot more to it than that.  God, but these two are a pair!  Gemma being Gemma and so very nice and innocent, will never even consider the possibility that Robert could ever misconstrue her hesitance in attending Max’s party with him, as something sinister; like Gemma being ashamed of presenting him to her lifelong friends.  After all, he is thee Robert Pattinson….movie star extraordinaire, and due to Aaron’s fuckery, in her mind; she is the unworthy one.  Robert’s perceived conception of himself, is vastly different from that of Gemma’s and somebody needs to make her realize it.  They both appear to be suffering from the same low self worth problems, which will only fester overtime if left untreated.  They have taken great strides within their relationship recently, but still have yet to completely lay themselves bare to one another.  I know that she loves Rob, but maybe Gemma still hasn’t completely let go of the life that she was suppose to have with Aaron; and introducing Robert into that environment, will surely obliterate all the remaining pieces.

I love the ease and familiarity of Robert and Sarah’s relationship.  They really do have that brother/sister vibe to their relationship.  So…does that make date number two for Sarah and Ben?  Is she beginning to have feelings for him and vice versa?  Something Gemma said got me thinking…the part about Sarah liking the unattainable bad boys, LOL.  Maybe that’s the problem with Bobby Long, the fact that he isn’t an unattainable bad boy.  Or maybe there’s just zero chemistry for anything other than friendship.  However, I would like to see her reaction to him suddenly becoming unattainable by maybe getting a girlfriend back in London :) Ben seems to be a very nice guy on the surface.  I do have some concerns though.  For example, what if he feels more for Sarah than she does for him and she stops seeing him….is he the type of guy to sell them out to the tabloids for revenge and a quick dollar?  Hmz, I never had this concern with Daniel, so maybe I just haven’t gotten used to Ben yet. 

I really, really, really, really wanted to “listen” to Robert’s conversations with Kristen Stewart and Nick.  I loved the fact that he made them aware of his feelings for her, even though they didn’t believe him.  I didn’t expect Kristen to have a favorable reaction to the news, but I was disappointed by Nick’s reaction.  I don’t know about anyone else, but if my boss were to make a point of telling me of another person’s importance to him, you better believe that I would take the news seriously and not belittle it.  I understand that Kristen doesn’t know Gemma and Nick was only recently introduced to her, but that doesn’t excuse their reactions.  Nick is an employee and Kristen is only a former booty call/friend, so them not knowing Gemma previously, really isn’t too big of a deal and does not excuse their reactions.   All of his real friends have met her and that’s all that’s important.  I just realized something…ALL of Robert’s childhood friends know of his feelings for Gemma, so why is she reluctant to having her childhood friends meet him?  Bla, I can’t believe I’m back to this point once again.  I don’t understand why, but for reason, it really seems to be sticking with me.  Remember how I once said that I felt as if Robert was ashamed of being seen out in public with Gemma?  Now I’m feelings as if it’s the other way around, and the weird thing is that I know that Gemma isn’t like that.  I know she isn’t ashamed of being seen with him and that she absolutely adores him, but the thought won’t go away :(

I’ve given up on judging who loves the other more…in one chapter, I’ll say that Rob loves her more only to contradict myself the following chapter.  I’ll just leave it at them being two, deeply flawed souls who love one another equally; doing the best that they can with the hand that life dealt them.  Uhm, on second thought, make Robert the only one who is flawed :)  I really, really, do adore Robbie, I’ve just developed a liking for picking on him :)  Now unto the naughtiness…You really do bring it each and every time.  Their love making sessions gets hotter and hotter every single chapter.  I love how open and raw they are with one another.  The fact that he can tease her about the words coming out of her mouth and not have her get offended by it, really says it all.  The dinner date was awesome! You really did a wonderful job with the scenery and diner selections.  It was very easy for me to visualize and I absolutely love that.  I LOL in the beginning, when Robert and Gemma discussed him stopping to chat with the fans.  I really wanted him to do it, but completely understood why he didn’t.  Maybe that’s something that he can do once they’ve gone public with their relationship.  Lastly, I really hope that Sarah can get Gemma to see reason on Robert attending the party with her.   Gemma should also be the one to ask him to go with her, instead of him asking to attend with her.  Hope I didn’t confuse you there…Anyway, LMAO at Robert’s descriptions of Aaron! The jerk!

He's just a hot work colleague who Sarah hooked up with a couple of times. That's all, really! :)

As for Kristen and Nick's conversations with Rob... Sometimes I wish I could write a Rob point-of-view, but then, no. The story's always been told from Gemma's perspective, so what she knows, we know. Rob's always been honest with her though, so the fact that he told her very little about his conversations with Kristen and Nick probably suggests some unpleasant things were said. We knew Kristen was going to take the news unfavorably, and Nick? Well... I thought he took the news quite well, actually! There are so many other stories out there where Nick is the evil one who tries to separate Rob from his new girlfriend, and I just didn't want to go there. I don't think he could be that bad, really, or Rob wouldn't put up with him! So even though he didn't really take on board what Rob told him about Gemma, at least he just gave a little word of advice and that was it. Then Rob got to go back and cuddle Gemma, and all was well! :)

I think they really do love each other equally. They adore each other! Some times one of them is just better at showing it than the other. We all have our moments, I guess. Their love-making sessions always open them up though, even if one of them has been a bit hesitant for whatever reason before that. Rob is very vocal during sex and Gemma just can't seem to help herself. Hehee.

Loved all your favorite lines... And yes, a lot of them did come from Rob! This chapter was a bit of a turnaround for you, I think. Baffled at Gemma and liking Rob's lines instead! Yay! :)

ANother great chapter - but I wouldn't expect anything less! Seems like Rob might be ready faster than Gemma to go public with their relationship! I can't wait to see what happens with Kristen.... seems like with every other story it's "we're just friends" and "we don't like each other like that". would be nice to see Kristen actually really be jealous and be a complete bitch to Gemma when they meet and even try to flirt and steal Rob away - of course Gemma would have to put Kristen in her place!!!! I'm wondering what will be in store at the party, I don't think it'll be good somehow.  I liked the Sarah and Ben situation, how embarrassing!  And then to all sit and watch a film together when what all four wanted to do was jump under the covers!  How very civilised of them, not sure I would have bee so patient with Rob laying behind me LOL  Brilliant build up of the sexual tension though, bravo!

Now, I really wanted to be a fly on the bedroom wall for the phone calls...will we get to find out what happned I wonder?

Ooh, the party. We find out what they decide to do in the next chapter. My lips are sealed until then! I'm bad at keeping secrets, just like Rob. They were all very well-behaved while watching Point Break together, weren't they? Well, mostly. Rob and Gem got a little bit tense at one stage. Hehee.

As for the phone calls... That's all we're getting, I'm afraid! The story is told from Gemma's point of view, so we only know what she knows. Don't tell any of the other authors but this is easily my favorite fanfic! Your chapters are always full of heart and emotion... and usually alot of humor too. All of your characters are great and although I have never personally met Robert (we all can dream right?!) I would almost think the way you portray him is pretty true to life. Keep it up!
