Wow, that was some chapter. I really liked the way you did her whole transformation / remembering thing. Poor Edward. She remembers everyone but him. Typical for their suffering relationship. Hopefully the two of them won't be suffering much longer. (that was a big hint hoping for a quick update as I'm on the edge of my seat dying for more)

No, don't cower--this is a great chapter. What a terrific idea to have her only remember Edward last--and then only remember the bad things! I forsee lots of great angst and then, let's hope, exceedingly hot vampire sex! Can't wait for more.

I'm glad Edward can hear her, and I have faith in their future.... beyond that I have nothing nice to say, so I'm shutting up. Except that as usual, it is beautifully written, and I'm hoping for more soon. We need resolution!!

Loved the chapter... You brought a very fresh perspective to "Bella awakening as a vampire". I never thought of her remembering her memories in such a way- the negative, hurtful memories first. Phew, woman, you love yourself some angst and I most certainly do, too!

It was very poignant when Carlisle pointed out to Edward that these were her last human moments.....you can feel the anguish that Edward has.
Bella, the victim, and Edward, the masochist, is a bit much for me, though. Please let the vampire venom make her better in character and please let Edward can crawl out of the masochistic pit sometimes.
The story flows pretty well though and I really appreciate your efforts!

That was so perfect. It is EXACTLY how I would imagine it. The characters melded flawlessly. If Stephanie Meyer were ever to write this scene, I am sure that it would go just as yours did. I could not imagine a more realistic first night for Bella and Edward. :)
