This story is so amazing~ the writing so detailed and intense. I love how this relationship is growing and developing and how the words leap off the page and paint such vivid images to describe what is happening between them. This chapter did that and then some. Your description of Bella's bloodlust and Edward's desperate attempts to hang on to her were incredible.  Very powerful. I just wanted to let you know how very much I enjoy what you're doing ~ looking very forward to the next chapter. Happy writing!

Seriously... I will review the last chapter when I get there (had a bit of a situation with my computer after the last review), I just want to say awwww.... That chapter almost made me cry. Take this as a compliment! I hardly cry in stories... I was so close :P

Yay she remembers! Yay they're finally good again. One thing I love about this story more than BD? There's so much more romance... as there should be, they are married!!

Taking on Emmett!  That is great!!!!!  It really sucks that Emmett has the name calling to hold over Bella's head!  But I think she did a great job of holding her own against him!

you're welcome alyssa.. i really appreciate it that you wrote this angle of newborn bella. and your idea of MINE...AT LONG LAST...a-w-e-s-o-m-e!!! i would love to see edward's POV here.. i know he's hurting and feeling a lot in this whole process. i'd love to see that and i'm sure others who follow this story would like that too. and honestly, i usually prefer edward's pov. haha.. i usually read more fics with edward's pov or combined. i normally don't want fics if the entirety is written in bella's pov. but this is the one exception because it's really great and captivating. you go where others don't normally go.. so keep it up! =)

i like the story so far!! I'm just surprised bella's first time was so painful and excruciating for her, my first time wasn't nearly painful or that dramatic hah but it was a lovely finish, and I'm glad you continued where SM left off!

I wonder whats going to happen next... renesme or no renesme? hmm...  i hope not, but i guess i'll just have to keep reading!

Excellent Story..

You keep using the word THEN when it should be THAN.

BLANK. My mind is a complete blank. I've been stunned into nothing and I'm struggling to form a single sentence in my head.

I think the last time I was thrown into a stupor like this was with your last chapter, Rapture. And it took me quite a while to recover then, too. But that chapter was completely different in it's tone and subject. B&E had finally succumbed to their insatiable need for each other, and while Bella began remembering her memories, she was still innocent and naive in her newborn state. 

But my oh my. Now we finally get to fully understand in depth the hauntings and torments of a true newborn vampire. And you have given us the most detailed and agonizing window into such a being. BELLA. 

Oh, Bella.

Our sweet, loving, compassionate Bella has come into her own and stepped up as the bloodthirsty newborn she is. And if I may say so, quite wonderfully at that. What a relief to finally jump into the hell that a newborn endures with their thirst. What a relief to experience Edward's agony in his need to be her protector and guardian. And what a glorious relief to share in their newfound trust in each other and that undying love only they share as they do. 

Why relief? Because I have yet to encounter a fanfiction that truly dissects the agony a newborn suffers, and with the resounding success in which you have accomplished this. It is never shallow, it is never lacking, and it is never sugar coated. In only one other instance I have ever truly felt the burning thirst as vividly as I did with this chapter. And that, my Dear, was with S.M.'s MIDNIGHT SUN, as Edward describes the hell he endured when he first encountered Bella in the Biology lab. Seriously darling, I bow in utter awe of you.

Bella's reaction to the human visitors was eye opening and gut wrenching.I found Edward's agonized sobs to be heart breaking as he struggled violently to protect Bella from her very self. That he felt the need to crush her rib cage (I assume that was the sound Bella referred to as "the sound of crushing gravel") is indicative of the terrifying strength he felt compelled to exert on his beloved's body. 

But I wonder, does Bella not remember that she used to vehemently argue with Edward over her insistence of the existence of his 'soul'? Is this perhaps a lost memory, as I noticed that she doubted her very own? Or perhaps has her frightening human blood lust caused her to doubt her very humanity and soul at all? 

“Jasper!’ Edward yelled, and his voice was menacing. ‘Emmett, Jasper, please!’ he roared, their looming figures cramping the hallway. They didn’t know what to do, where to go for fear of angering Edward further, but I was oblivious to it.” – Why were Emmett and Jasper afraid of Edward getting angry with them if they attempted to help him restrain Bella? Were they afraid to hurt her physically, thereby inciting Edward’s wrath?

I can’t tell you how I thank you for the tender scene between Bella and Carlisle. At that very moment, Bella needed a paternal figure to talk her through her ‘adolescent outburst’. And in calling him ‘Dad’ (would that have been the first time?), Bella did a wonderful thing in declaring her relationship with Carlisle as a father and daughter one, all be it officially. It was just beautiful.

It was all beautiful, Love.

"You’re the core of my very existence, as if you were created to complete me. You’re the life, the love I’ve never known before. You’re my wife. I love you. I’ll always love you, Bella.” – He took my heart and made it his own. I sigh in utter love.

I love HIS, AT LONG LAST. It is the greatest pleasure for me to read. And I am eternally grateful to you for it.
