Thank you so much for the update!  It was a very bright spot in an otherwise gloomy day for me.  I am still loving this story so much.  With each chapter you write I become more endeared to the story as a whole.  I sincerely appreciate the fact that you are taking time in developing the plot and especially the relationships.  In regards to the relationships in particular, I enjoy how you provided a little backstory on Bella's evolvement with the other characters, but didn't go into exasperatingly long detail.  While I care about Bella's friendships with Alice and Jasper, Emmett and Rosalie, I don't need the finite details of every single thing they say and do with each other.  You have done an exceptional job at emphasizing the importance of those friendships, in relation to Bella's settling in to the new area, without inundating the reader with mundane details.  The story focus is on Edward and Bella and I like that very much. You really are quite good at incorporating everyone into the story without detering from the main characters and plot points.

I liked the fact that both perspectives were contained within this one chapter.  It was a nice change of pace, but when things start to get more complex I am not certain it would be conducive.  Either way, it really worked well with this chapter.  The text message banter is playful and cute and I love the whole interaction.  As Bella so eloquently stated in her soliloquy, it is often times a whole lot easier to say what you feel when not having to look someone in the eye.  Texting has facilitated very open face to face conversation between Bella and Edward as well.  It has allowed Bella to get more comfortable with Edward, to the point she has mention her failed relationship with Jacob to him.  She is building trust and that has been lacking in her life for awhile now. 

I know that when this story began, the summary indicated that Edward and Bella struggle to remain only friends because Edward has concerns about becoming more involved with his niece's teacher.  At least it was something to that affect.  I don't know if your plans are to maintain that basis or not, but I thought I saw some glimpses of that being mentioned again in this chapter, what with Lilly slipping up in class and distinguishing between Ms. Swan and Uncle Eddie's Ms. Swan.  Seems the little one is having a hard time not being Ms. Swan's potential niece Lilly in school since she interacts with her so much outside of school.  Not that this whole ramble has really anything to do with the chapter per say, but I still just wondered if that will become a bigger issue later and potentially a source for problems between Edward and Bella or not.  Maybe I am just searching for some foreshadowing and reading way to much into something that may or may not even be there. 

I am so anxious to read more.  What will drinks lead to?  Perhaps a loose lipped Bella spilling the beans to an over curious Edward about Jacob?  Perhaps a loose lipped inebriated Bella getting all loose lipped on Uncle Eddie?  We will see.  Please update soon. 

I was so excited to see this update tonight!  I think what hooked me to this story first was Lilly... but now the adorable texting has me falling in love with it all over again.  I loooove texting.  Well done!

It is about time you updated. Great background info, but I am still waiting on some real action versus casual flirting.
