I loved this 1st chapter, very realistic.  i loved the awkwardness between them!

Evie and Rob. At times they are heartbreaking to me but its also so real!! Thank uyour for creating such a wonderful strong/funny and real woman for Rob to be with. Luckily I have never been through what Evie has, but I can imagine the way you write it you at least know someone it has happened to. I unfortunately had one of my good friends raped at the age of 14...It really did change her but its become a positive thing. 

Anyway thank you as always for your story. I alwasy look forward to the updates!

Hey, pearlgem.  Always brilliant to hear from you!  I can only write in what I feel is a realistic way with the characters.  It's always reassuring to know that people enjoy that aspect. For me, reality however painful it is, is far more interesting and rich in depth. These two characters are not perfect, but they adore each other.  I'm so sorry to hear about your friend - what a hideous thing to have happened.  I'm glad that she has been able to use change as a positive.

Boobies *giggle* bless Rob, just say what you're thinking why don't you, lol.  So funny asking what his chances were of getting morning nookie and yay Twee is now a convert.

It took guts for Twee to go back to the house on her own but I think she needed to do it in some part to prove to everyone that these people have not beaten her and can't control what she does and to prove that to herself as well.  I'm glad Rob pressed her on how she was feeling and that she opened up to him a little more.  I worry for Twee when Rob goes away again and that she might go back into her shell a little especially now she will be living on her own.

Who'd have thought Rob could eat so many choccie muffins, he wants to be careful he doesn't get worms from all that sugar, lol.  Can't wait for the next chapter.

Jane, you are really quite perceptive with London Rain.  I love it!!  Twee was trying to prove it to herself as much as others, yes.  And there will always be a worry that she may distance herself a little from Rob.  I think you're right to have some worries about that.

Oh, but Evie tensed for a moment there. Sigh. They're getting there, slowly.

I'm so glad her visit to her old place went okay, and that she was able to remember all the happy times, not just the one awful moment. She's a brave girl, that Twee...

Her new apartment seems lovely! I don't really know why, but I'm already in love with it. I like that she has her own place that she feels really comfortable in. And Rob is going to buy her lots of pretty stuff, awww!

Bee!  Hello lovely!  Morning smoothie Rob...I had a little chuckle writing all that.  What a boy!

She did tense, yes, and he wasn't to know.  Things will piece together slowly but surely for them. 

I think Twee is a brave girl too, so it's nice to hear you agree!  It's not that she is 'over' what happened by any means, but she doesn't want to dwell.  She wants to see the positives - having a new place etc.  She has to try, and I like her for that.  Of course, I would, because I write her! Lol

The new apartment is a big deal for her.  It's her own space, somewhere for her to start over a little bit and make her own.  But yes, Rob will be making his mark with lots of pressies!

There was a little talk there, yep.  It's gradual.  Oh, accidental Rob on the sheets though!  Whoops! As I've said before, my version of Rob is flawed in many ways and I love writing him like that!  Not that what happened is necessarily a flaw, but it was a kind of embarrassing little intimate slip up which for me makes the characters all the more real.  Glad you forgive him!  Me too!

Hi darlin'!

Simply love this chapter. It was a constant intertwinin' of the beautiful love that Rob and Evie share and the still horrific trauma of the burglary and near rape.

Evie, clearly, still has some issue to work through, and so does Rob. They'll make it though, because their love is strong and the trust complete.

Loved Rob and the muffins,,,especially the chocolate ones. and I stick my tongue out at him for this line "Fast metabolism," he said, grinning at me as he chomped noisily. I hate men and their fast metabolism!! Grrrr!

It made me smile that Rob helped Evie settle into her new place and she wanted him to. This way it will be theirs...even if the dastardly Brent's friend owns it! I still don't trust that man!! Yay, Fuggles is back!

Slowly, Evie is talking and so is Rob. He's bein' so gentle and patient, sometimes too much so. Hence this from Evie: "Just please, be normal with me. Let me feel your hands on me, I want that so much..."

Loved the "man piles and drawers" banter and the whole thing with the Twilight perfume...charming. Rob cummin' on the sheets...perfect! Shows that he is just a normal man who has accidents! Burnin' the bacon...typical! lol

Now, I know that Rob will be leavin' in just a few days and that they both are dreadin' the separation. So, you have to huuy up and give us MORE PLEASE, ASAP!

Simply adore your Rob and Evie, and look forward to where you take them with your amazin' talent! You make me smile!

Yes, still some issues there for both of them.  It can't just be swept under the carpet.  They'll work through it though. 

Grrr indeed!  Fast metabolisms!  Grrr and more grrrr!

Rob really wanted to help Evie move in, didn't he?  I think he sees it as a place for the two of them - that's what he's hoping for.  Even though he isn't an official resident.  And yes, the Fuggles made her presence known! 

You hit the nail on the head - Evie wants normal.  Of course, Rob is just behaving how he is behaving because he knows that it can't just switch back without certain things being spoken about.  They need to trust one another.  They both want the same thing. 

Man piles and drawers...Now, I have nothing against man drawers as the stuff is hidden but man piles?  Makes me all kinds of annoyed! Lol! The Twilight perfume.  Evie had to get busted on it eventually, right?  And the sheets...hmmn.  Such an incredibly intimate moment and Rob just got carried away.  *sigh*

Yes, he will indeed be leaving soon...

What is it with boobies and men?  Would love to hear the psychological theory on that.  I guess boobies to men are like happy trails to women.  Now that I understand.

So Evie finally moved everything from the old place to the new mansionette.  (That's a new word for me!)  Glad she is trying to move on.  I still feel something off with Brent --- but we'll see.  Like he's trying to work his way back in thru the back door.

And Rob, he is going to step all over himself trying to be so careful and protective of Evie.  I know they will finally get things back to normal.  Good start though.

Rob was so adorable with the muffins.  And you let him eat 4.  Man oh man, I would have had a tummy ache.  Do they have Pepto Bismol in UK?

Fuggles was cute with the tape on her tail.  They can get into so many things can't they?

Oh, I am so very happy for this chapter - there are just so many good things happening...  I know they still need to finish sorting things out, but they're happy, they're silly, they're back. I sighed happily with relief after I was done reading. 

The morning sex bit with all the smooth Rob talk? I really want to imagine that real Rob is like that... kind of awkward, but really sweet and funny. :D 

YES! A man drawer and man piles. My Hubs TOTALLY has man piles! I'm just so happy that they're doing better now. *sigh* Hooray, hooray, hooray!
