Aw, Clare, I don't know about Rob combusting but leaving it there will have us all combusting, aarrrgghhh!

I loved Rob's gifts to for Twee and the maisonette, such a softy.  Hangin' their beanie's together on the hat & coat stand, awww and all those different uses for those pillows and cushions, he thought that one out well.

It's a shame that Twee is still so self conscious about her body, even though she knows Rob loves her as she is, I suppose we will always be our own worst enemies in that respect.  Maybe moving out of her comfort zone with Rob's birthday present will help boost her confidence and *giggle* relieve all of Rob's tension.  I don't think Rob has become too dependent on Twee, he is a man in love missing his girlfriend and I think he's just let everything get on top of him and is a little depressed.  They need to come up with a plan.

I can't wait for the next chapter.

First off, let me say I was so glad to see this update.  It feels like it has been forever, even though I know it hasn’t.  Sorry, I guess I get a little impatient sometimes missing my Rob and Twee!

So Rob and Evie are both stressed.  Rob – well I’ll talk about that in a few … but Evie is doubly stressed.  Sexually and, oh yes, the birthday present.   It is difficult to find the perfect gift for someone who has everything .  But she is trying so hard.  And I think Lily has the perfect idea.  I can only imagine next chapter when Rob finally sees Twee in her “sexy, smexy, come hither” undies.  He is just gonna lose it for sure.  That is - once she takes off the wrinkled plaid shirt!  

Rob’s gifts were just perfect for Twee.

Loved the various cushions and sizes ”No patterns - no fuss.”   Very adorable that he even wrote a note telling her where they went and how he intends to use some of them.  “Or, when I come to visit, I can lay you down on them and do all sorts of unmentionables!  You know how much I like a good pillow, especially when it's under your hips or under your belly.  The possibilities! And yes, in case you were wondering, I am being filthy,”   So Rob.

The coat stand – well Twee definitely needed to upgrade since she moved into a mansionette.    And yet another note mentioning “where I lay my hat” --  just perfect.  Squee

The melting clock – Rob truly knows his Evie Twee.  Yes she is missing the Dali picture – but she probably would have a hard time looking at it every day.  Another wise decision.  And … the… note – OMG -- I want to officially hire you to write all of my love notes.  So heartfelt and loving.  Just PERFECTLY SPECIAL.   And let’s not forget the cheese theory. giggle

Now back to Rob’s stressed situation – poor baby – You wrote this segment so well.  I could sense all of the pent up stress that he is going thru.  Two weeks – gosh Clare – our poor boy is having a really rough time – even for fiction.   :(   And Tom – love the banter that these two wonderful friends enjoy.  Your writing of them always leaves me in stitches.  Tom always seems to have a fix for whatever Rob’ s problem might be.  Two things he can’t fix are the damned blue balls and the paps!!!!!  Seems odd writing that in the same sentence!  And let’s hope he doesn’t stress too much when he does recognize his dependence on Twee.  Hope this is not too huge a problem for him down the road – just saying!!!!

Evie is so nervous.  So hard for me to believe that someone in her age group hasn’t done something like this before.  (Don’t forget I’m 60. Ha ha  Maybe a little frost on the top, but sill some fire in the furnace!!!)   Glad that Lily was able to help her sort through her inhibitions and help her give Rob such a fantastic present – and she even gets to borrow Lily’s Jimmy Choo’s!!!!  And he will love the other presents when the time is appropriate.  Me think Evie worries too much --  Rob loves her unconditionally. 

I am already having a stressful (giggle)  time realizing that it will be at least a week or more until another update.  You have left us in such a predicament.  Note this is not a cliffie – this is a SITUATION!!!!!  But rest assured, I’ll be right here ready to read.   And by the way –  I’ve already told hubby I need a pack of cigarettes and a new bottle of wine when I read your update.  He thinks I am sooo  ----  well let’s say he respects my obsession of “my perfect sevens” and “Rob fettish.”  Oh – the perfect sevens – that’s what I call my favorite authors.  There are seven of you and I have a conniption every time I discover one of you has updated.  Thank God for Twilight Alerts!!!!!!  :D  By the by, I don’t smoke, but I do enjoy a good bottle of wine!!!!   :-)  snort – guffaw.

I so totally adore Rob and Twee.  Your brilliance at crafting them is breathtaking.  Thank you for writing such a perfect story.  I <3 U!!!!

I think Rob is definitely going to combust but its a good thing :). Cannot wait to read the next chapter...as for him becoming to dependent? Yeah I think this might be a problem down the road. I worry he is going to resent her because of it since he is just more vocal about it and Evie is more subdued about everything.

 

Anyway, love this, love you and look forward to more!

Number 2 - Rob's going to die.

And number 3 - Lily is going to kill Evie if she finds out she covered her expensive, beautiful lingerie up with a ratty old plaid shirt! I'm sure Rob will like it anyway, and it's very Evie, but augh!

So anyway, poor Rob. He's all stressed and can't whack one out. He definitely needs his Evie! As for him realising he's becoming reliant on her, well hmm. That happens in every relationship at some point, I think! Whether or not he accepts it might be the next step. He seems okay with it, but I still have my worries about Evie accepting that she really does need Rob.

Aww, his presents were lovely! He really does enjoy a good cushion, doesn't he? The hat stand was sweet, but I shall be sad to say goodbye to the image of their beanie sitting side by side on the radiator! And the clock... Risky move by Rob, but lovely.

I can't wait to hear about the girls' visit to LA! I'm sure Rob will have no problem getting over his little (or not so little! Hehee!) predicament once Evie makes her appearance. Aww!

What a gorgeous chapter, Duders. I had a cheeky little smile on my face from start to finish.

I love that Rob was all nervous when he dropped the muffins around to Evie in the beginning. And she pulled him inside by the toggles of his hoodie. That little visual just struck me as so cute... It was playful Evie and Rob. It matched the rest of the chapter perfectly!

Aww, the beanies beside each other on the radiator! I remember pointing out that I loved that image way back in the beginning of this story. I love that they still do it. So sweet.

Their fun times on the bed with the chocolate piping bag were just so much fun! It was lovely to see them playing again. Just having some silly time. Yay! And then... Dorothy Day! Hehee. The image of Rob looking like a hobo and scratching his belly made ME thud this time, Duders! :)

Yayyy for christening the kitchen!! Go Rob! And go Evie for being so brave and putting out the booty call! I'm so pleased our Twee is back. Onwards and upwards!
