Oh, my god, the kiss! Swoon! Practical Bella should hide in the corner and let passionate Bella take over! So, a lot of other things happening as well, stranger behavior at the Newton's, and Bella is making more modern day references. Will she still be under the spell by weeks end?
Author's Response: So glad you liked the kiss. I've said before, I was more than a little nervous putting that up. As for Bella, she's coming out of the enchantment more and more. Not sure how quickly, though.

The visions of blood and the torn up library are feaking me out! More twists, huh? Is there a reason why no one can just kill James and the losers he runs with? I mean...they are tresspassing and threatening people, right? I am confused as to why they aren't doing more to find them/kill them. I'm probably missing something big, though; I'll go back and re-read.
I really adored the Edward/Bella interaction in this chapter, especially The Kiss. Like Edward, I don't get why he is continuing to court Bella in a dual role, it seems very cruel to me. I am glad that Edward is doing that almost against his will. I hope that the girls take almost full responsibility when the truth comes out. I mean...Bella would HAVE to be pissed when she found out. Holy shit, I would rip some arms off, even being a weak human, LOL. That's just terrrible to do to someone.
I loved that the nasty Newtons were giving Bella a wide berth. Ugh, those two are gross. I like that they have a bit of the fear o' something in them, hee hee.
Thanks for the chapter. Looking forward to more of the Edward/Bella storyline in upcoming chapters!
Author's Response: James is hiding outside the borders of Evermore so the Cullen group goes after him as they can but he's quite good at evasion. Emmett & Jasper did give chase after the picnic but he gave them the slip. Don't worry. He'll be back, cause some trouble, make life interesting and get what's coming to him.
Edward's getting more and more unhappy with the dual role. That is going to come out in the next chapter. Just a hint/teaser.
The Newtons are going to get their come-uppance, as well.

Omg! That kiss.....sheesh! I melted from it :D...i felt so bad she fainted from Edwards drink...it kills me that Edward has to fight himself for Bella. He does a good job being very persuasive from both characters, I just worry how Bella will take it when she finds out. How will L explain to Bella that she is married now???

Beautiful story! I was confused a few times by the present-day references Bella made or heard (Lorena Bobbitt, same old, same old, high school dance, etc.) Yet she doesn't seem confused or alarmed by thinking of these anachronisms. Just suggesting that it she remembers her current life from time to time, it might be less confusing for us little readers if she reacted to it in some way.
Looking forward to the wedding, the dance, and the renewed conflict with the bad vamps!

Happy Belated Birthday! Another great chapter, as always. I'm trying to figure out how Edward is going to be two different people at the party. the mask thing will help, but clothing? maybe just a jacket change will do the trick. Mr & mrs. Newton are vile creatures....geez! Have a great Thanksgiving then thee back to Evermore! :)

that sneaky pixie ha ha....i know that bella is half hypnotized which is why she acts so out of character for someone of that time period but i am surprised that jess doesnt fire her for talking back like that,,,any person threatened like that back then as the employer would have fired her ass ,,,,also just wondering if alec and jane are real or not as they are children and should be in school ,,,are they there for the experience as well or just some image faked into ppls brains,,,, and are jess and mike really like that or is that how alice or L wrote their characters to be
Author's Response: I have in my head that Jess is a little intimidated by Bella so she doesn't say anything. Alec & Jane are real. As I've said in other review replies, I envision them as child actors doing summer stock. They are just kids, human, and are acting with the Cullens closely watching over them to prevent any abuse from the Newton/Stanley clan. As for Mike & Jessica, they are naturally like they appear in Evermore except they hold back those tendancies in real life but in Evermore, they give in to their greed.

It has begun. The experience and the mystery. What were they all doing at the Square? What happened to L? It seemed as if wasn't the first time it happened. They were all concerned, but not worried. There's a secret to this Experience. One Bella is not a participant of, not for now and not willingly. L was right the 21st Century isn't present in her mind, however, a small glimpse might not be dormant yet.
We met Edward Cullen, a handsome man with an ill temper. L stands back for no one. She defended her niece and told off Edward. I liked that.

Up to now everything has happened at a rather fast pace. I guess it will be slowing down from now on. Bella is getting set, she is meeting her "family" and thankfully really liking them. Something I guess is very important for the experience. Every little detail is taken care of. I assume there will be no electricity, since there wasn't at the time. What more surprises will there be tomorrow?
Will we find out "L's" name?

It is a complete experience, with first class ticket included!!! Bella was feeling very lucky, until her seat companion got close. She was nervous at first, but after a few minutes felt very comfortable with her new found friend.
The only thing that surprised me a bit, was Bella's reaction to Alice telling her about her involvement with the Evermore Experience. Bella took it rather calmly, although it is a strange coincidence. Somehow I think there will be more of those coming Bella's way.
Author's Response: I want my own Evermore Experience, that's for certain. I always figured Bella assumed since she was in 1st class & Alice & Jasper were, too, it was intentional (flights booked together) and she just shrugged it off. At least that's my story!
