Indeed there are changes occurring faster than the people involved seem to able to grasp and understand. How they wish things might slow down a bit. They won't. As to Lord Masen's requests and orders, he might have a point and good intentions behind his decisions; however, that doesn't exactly make them the right ones.
Something else is being set in motion. Happening too fast for Alice to be able to let others know and prepare. it seems they will have to act quickly it things keep on like this.

Hmmm. How is Edward going to pull off being both Lord Masen and himself if Bella is living in Lord Masen's house? Use a fill in like he did tonight? Loved Edward's reaction to seeing Bella in her beautiful dress. Also, liked that Bella told Lord Masen that her dance card was full. HA! Can't wait for the next update!

that edward is sneaky,,,,i am curious were alec and jane removed for purposes of the game or are the actors mike and jessica really not nice ppl in reality and that is why they had to remove the kids because the actors themselves werent good ppl...

Bella's decision of which gentleman she wants to be with was causing her some stress. Concerned about approaching Lord Masen to tell him she doesn't want to be courted by him. Her heart belongs to another (Edward.) Funny since Lord Masen and Edward are the same person. At the ball Lord Masen was being performed by another. Taking the children away from Mike Newton was a smart idea. Since the only attention Alec and Jane receive as positive is through Bella. Bella definitely was angry with Lord Masen assuming she would move into his home and continue to take care of the children as well as tutor them. Bella would have liked to have been consulted as to her preferences regarding this matter. Being called into a locked study with Edward, Mike Newton, Lord Masen and her escort her Uncle Will. Edward escorting Bella to dinner leaving all the decisions made between Lord Masen and Will. Bella advised Lord Masen her dance card was filled very subtle way to tell Lord Masen she wasn't interested in dancing, being in his company, etc... Looking forward for part 2 of the ball. Also what reaction Mike Newton will have in regards to Bella.

I was wondering why no one has notice that Bella is slipping up with use of language and history that has not happened yet. Does "L" need to sew more magic in Evermore? And who can be playing the part of Lord Masen? I'm sticking with you to the end because this is a delightful story.
Author's Response: A lot of Bella's slippage is internal so the other's don't know. Whatever she says aloud is around the Cullens and they already know something's amiss. As for who played Lord Masen, it's actually in the chapter. Take a look at who Edward says he needs to go rescue. I'm very glad to keep you on the journey, though!
