I wonder when Bella will come to her senses and the L's gift wears off Bella. I am really torn whether Edward should tell Bella what he is now while she is under this spell of sorts or when out of it. I personally think she needs to be out of it even if she continues on with the Evermore Experience. Was it Jake that was playing Lord Masen earlier?? Love the story btw.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review! Bella's slowly breaking free from the "believe." You are just as torn as Edward about when and if to tell Bella what's going on. I will hint that a few things are in action that will force his hand. In answer to Jake playing Lord Masen....when? The part has been played by several characters. If you are meaning a few chapters ago, then the answer is yes. I'm aiming to have the next installment up in the next week to 10 days.

Author's Response: Ah, but wouldn't that call more attention to the event than just ignoring it or denying it happened? Maybe, maybe not. Regardless, Bella's noticing more and more and they have to take note of that.

Either Bella is paying lots of attention, or the vamps around her are being a bit distracted. Not that I can't see why the later might be happening. I guess it might be a bit of both.
Edward is about to loose it. Poor guy, he really needs a way to ease up on the tension and sadly 1827 isn't a proper time for they type of PDA or not so public that could help him. Bella might be willing to help him, but I don't know how that could work out either.
Not finding James or Bree isn't helping either. Add how unhappy Esme is going to be when she finds out about the furniture in the study and well. Poor Edward. At least the waltz might help, hopefully a lot.

I've just re-discovered your story. I had read the first few chapters but forgotten to put it on my alert list. What I have been missing!
This is one of the most original, charming, engrossing stories I've read. It is such a treat to ready something where the Cullens are still vampires but with a completely different twist. I have totally neglected the work I was supposed to be doing these past few days because I was lost in Evermore!
Edward and Alice still feel like themselves but don't feel like they just got scotch-taped into a different story line. It is seamless.
L is a fantastic original character, and although I know some people have a ridiculous bias against them, I think they are one of the hallmarks of a great fic.
One small correction, since you did ask for them. "Tu as" means "you have", while "tu es" means "you are". You probably have heard that by now, but I thought I'd mention it just in case.
I can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Welcome back! I'm glad you've re-experienced Evermore and are still enjoying it. Thanks for letting me know about the French. I thought I fixed it but maybe it didn't take (Twilighted can be a bear for corrections). And, I have no problem with people pointing out my errors--it makes be a better writer (I may bitch about how it's done, though--I'm only human)

Amazing...it seems so romantic and grand. I want to have a dress up party just so I can reenact this chapter. I hope when the truth is revealed to Bella, it doesnt hurt too much and their love lasts. Can't wait for more

So in this story Edward is not insisting on marrying Bella before consummating their relationship? Which is kinda funny considering they are in a different era where it is more expected for nuptials beforehand.

Bella and Edward rejoin the ball downstairs only to be split apart again. It seems they don't have any luck to spend time together other than the picnic in the music room. Even there someone wanted in so interrupted them also. Edward was taken away by the Cullen men and Will. They discussed not having any leads to where James and Bree are. Edward needed to ensure Bella's safety from James has his anxiety increase. On top of that his brothers and Will have to torment him about not getting any. A century of blue balls --- tacky. Bella lead to join the women each trying to get details of what occurred between herself and Edward in the music room. She just said a picnic. Everyone knew there was more, but Bella wasn't going to diverge. Bella getting enchanted by the dancers. Lost notice of everything until Edward was standing in front and asking her to dance. Edward requested a couple waltzes so he could dance with her. Show her how close you can dance on the floor. Bella is so innocent, I'm sure his comment about being closer without clothes might shock her a little. Before she finds that exactly what she wants Edward to do. Great developments between them. Both are speaking freely and honestly.
