Hi, I have only just started reading your story and think that it is really good. It is so different to the other fics out there and I am enjoying every word. Can't wait for the next update :0)

HI!  I had to go back and job my memory as to which literature reference I made when.  The poem is "The Queen of Hearts"--depending upon the version, it goes The Queen of Hearts, made some tarts all on a summer's day.  The Knave of Hearts, he stole those tarts and took them clean away.....(there's more but that is what is referenced in the chapter--the Knave ends up getting whipped and vowing to steal no more).

Oooh great chapter. I'm sorry, but I think Mrs. Stanley got what was coming to her. I know, that's not very nice of me now is it? I've been worrying about who might die ever since Alice had that vision of L's house, I'm just glad it wasn't anyone important. Now I'll wait to see what fate has in store for Mr. Newton. Speaking of the ass, maybe a little newborn will pay him a visit. I was kind of floored when Bree appeared, I wasn't expecting that.

Well not that the fire was a good thing, but it does let Will and L have their own place and isn't it awfully convenient that Edward's 'old room' just happens to be available for Bella to stay in. That works to the Cullens advantage in that they can keep a better watch over Bella, hopefully.

I love Alice and her costume manipulation, poor Edward, he just has to go with it. I wonder what Lord Masens costume will be. ;)  Oh I just realized that with the fire Bella hasn't had the chance to reply to his letter; I wonder if she will get a chance to before the party. I guess it doesn't matter though. I can't wait for the costume ball, I just know it's going to be exciting! Off I go...  xoxo

I think real life sucks some time and you make it better by giving us somewhere to lose ourselves. How wondeful would it be to really become part of the stories we read? You have an amazing talent and I have to thank you  because you make it possiable for me to travel to another time and place and for that moment or moments nothing else matters but the story. How luckey you are to have such a talent that lets you create such wonders. I not sure if this will make sence to you but know that you have one super fan out here in fiction land for always.

Thank you so much for the praise! I do enjoy writing (most of the time) and it is my 'release' from the real world.  Unfortunately, sometimes I spend too much time doing it & RL gets really, really behind.  I just need to clone myself so I can do both!  Ha!

Oh what a swoon worthy chapter this was. I loved it so much; I'm such a romantic sap. I'm grinning like a fool! The only part that wasn't so wonderful was Alice's vision. I know her visions are subjective, but I also know that James is in the vicinity, and that's a scary thought. I'm just going to bask in the glow from this chapter until I read the next one.  xoxo  Oh, and a very belated Happy B-day to you!

First off I am so happy for your mother mine died 7 years ago of breast cancer she did not have monthly check ups or yearly scans. I miss her ever day and if she had a scan she still might be here. I knew that Edward was Lord Masen chapters ago I am so proud of myself, I hope I am right. I just love this story and can't wait to read more.

I am so sorry for your loss!  We are very blessed that my mom is now declared cancer free and it helps me to remain vigilant in my own exams.  I am so glad you are enjoying EE.  I hope to have the next chapter up around April 8th.

Having choices is all well and good, but doesn't Edward realize that this is or could be completely confusing for Bella? Well I guess this way Bella will see all sides(more or less)of Edward. It doesn't even help ease my mind that Alice knows what is going to happen. I can't wait to see how this all plays out. I will probably say that every few chapters. This is driving me crazy, but in a good way. :)  xoxo

I hate to say keep going but...keep going!  (I hope) it gets clearer.  And again, Alice's visions are subjective.  As soon as a choice is made, they get clearer until the next choice.

Sometimes I'm so immersed in the 'experience' that I forget this isn't real, until Bella will remember something from the present. I laugh everytime she remembers something like Google, I imagine she's more than confused by this. I wonder if the 'spell' will wear off of Bella a little more with each passing day....I've been wondering if Bella will be mad when she finds out that Lord Masen and Edward are the same person. Maybe by that point, she won't care because her feelings will be too deep...That mask really is freeing to Edward isn't it, he can let out his true feelings for Bella, it's like it gives him courage...Again I have way more to say and wonder about, but I'll just say that I can't wait to see how long it takes for Bella to fall in love with Lord Masen, what James is going to pull, how Edward/Lord Masen will save Bella, and if all this is going to take place at Evermore, or if any of this will follow Bella back home before it's all said and done. Once again I have to tell you how much I'm loving your story!  xoxo

Oh crap, I think it's about to hit the fan. It already has, the housekeeper has been killed, so far. Well I think that Laurent must have been the one in Newtons study the day Bella overheard the discussion about Mr. Hunter coming to town. I wonder if Alice's crippling vision had anything to do with James and Laurent, or if it's worse than them. Although if L's reaction is anything to go by, I think James is the worst thing that's going to happen. I was disgusted at James for sniffing at Bella, I can only imagine what Edward's reaction was. Yes, I said Edward, because I have convinced myself that Lord Masen and Edward Cullen are one in the same. He has to be, there is too much evidence that points to that conclusion. Anyway, so is L getting younger somehow or is Bella just imagining things? Who is this Mr. Lawrence, he's a vampire isn't he? And the vision Alice showed Edward of him kissing Bella while she's supposedly engaged to 'Lord Masen', is that going to happen? I'm so confused, again. I'm laughing though, so I must be enjoying the growing mystery of your story. I really am loving it! Oh I have lots more to say but I've said to much already, and I was on my way to bed an hour ago, but I was drawn to read 'just one more' chapter. Let's see if I make it this time. xoxo

Yes, L is getting more youthful, Mr. Lawrence is a vampire and remember--Alice's visions are subjective.  Things change quickly, especially in Evermore.  Now get some rest!  The story will still be here.  =)

I really love a good mystery! This may be 'scripted' so to speak from the Cullen's perspective, and obviously things have changed due to Alice's visions, but is this all about Bella? Hmmm. I may be crazy in my guesses, but I still think something is fishey about Lord Masen. And I laughed when L could smell Edward upstairs and said goodnight to him, that was funny. ;) So he is intrigued by Bella, but of course he is. I really do you love your story, so much. I never know what to expect! But I'm not looking forward to Mr. Hunter showing up. I have a feeling there may be more things happen that are off the script. :) As far as what I am reading besides your story, there are too many to mention. I do love a well written period piece story, and one I am currently reading is by javamomma0921, called All That Jazz, and so far I love it. She also has another story that is fabulous called The Foreign Papers, it's a mystery and I love it too. Ooo, and one I just finished that I loved is Nineteen Canvases by Carson1, it was so, so good. Okay there you go, I shouldn't start because I'll never stop, there are so many good stories out there. Right now I'm happy to be engrossed in your story. So off I go to read another chapter!  xoxo

I had to laugh because I'm a beta for Javamomma0921's TFP--I get to read the chapters first & have to duct tape my mouth to not give anything away.  I haven't read Nineteen Canvasses so I'm going to check that out!  And yes, Evermore has quickly and fully gone off script--much to L's chagrin.

I feel like I should know this, but who's wearing the leather mask? Hmm, I just don't have enough to go on, yet. It couldn't be Edward because she already saw him, plus his name was Edward Cullen, not Lord Masen. Maybe it's Jacob? I'm so confused! But I love your story!

The entire mask big gets explained as you go...(at least it was my intention as a writer to explain it).  Let me know if it's still unclear!

What is James up to ??!!!  Which one does he want???  My theories--he may go after Bella to use as bait to get the others, and he is really after either Alice or Edward.  Not sure which one though.

But damn what a cliffie!!!  James is going to take Bella before Edward can tell her that what he has for her is not a lie!!!!  Where is Edward anyway???  Why doesn't he sense James???
