God, I can't get enough of this. I like my stories dark and brutal. I love seeing the transformation from Luke's POV.
SM had a good description, your was better. I loved how you described the void left behind by the cancer.

WOW - these last 2 chapters were intense! and fabulously written. :)
I haven't read updates in a while (I confess, I'm reading too many stories simultaneously!) so I just reread the entire thing. And ya know what? I loved it just as much this time!! Leah cracks my ass up - so deliciously sarcastic!! she's my kinda wolf/girl. :) I LOVED her telling Sam to stuff it up his furry butt!! go, girl!!
And you go, too - to Cleveland! Congrats!! College can be a hoot. Be careful, don't drink too much, don't put out too much, and don't get preggers. And yeah, you do have to study. End of sermon. :)
Hurry with the next chapter, please!! I've got to find out what kind of newborn Luke is, and if he wants to jump Leah's bones!!! >:>

Is Luke in love with Leah yet... somehow I thought he wasn't .. but in this chapter he's so concerned about her to an extext... that it makes me thing that at least part of him does love her..
im just worried he really had no idea what he was getting himself into and he'll regret everything that happened.

Woohoo, two updates so quickly!! I kinda adore this fic. Your Leah is hilarious. In fact, your Leah is more how I imagined Leah to be than SM's Leah...which I know is kind of weird thing to say since SM created the character, but still. Leah has so much possibility. This story actualizes it. I love her relationship with Edward in this too. It's snarky good.
I have to admit I felt a little wrench at the end of this chapter! Luke saw nothing but Leah...but Leah saw nothing but red? Noooo! See Luke, Leah! See forever! You can do it! I want this crazy duo to get their happily ever after so bad...and rub it in Sam's face LoL. I mean, hello terminal cancer boy turned vamp? Reluctanct werewolf girl who watched as her boyfriend imprinted on her best friend/cousin instead of her? No one deserves a happy ending more than them!!

After reading Bella's transformation in BD and many in fanfiction, they still get me. *shudder* I love how Edward came back to be with Leah. He's really not a bad guy, is he? :)
The last line has me worried...is there more angst in Leah's future? Will Luke want to still be with her? Oh boy....

Thank you so much for the update! It was well worth the wait. I was afraid that someone would try to keep Luke from changing and I'm glad he's safe now. Will Leah decide to change too so they can always be together? Can a shape-shifter even become a vamp??

AAWWW!! I basically read that as if it was the last chocolate cake in the world..except I would be eatting the cake instead of reading it...Anyway, this was a pretty intense chapter and pretty amazing. I love Leah's reaction, even if it is really dark. I think you really nailed it, the whole wanting to save the love of your life but having to turn him into something you are programed to hate. I think that's why I love this story so much, it's much better than the vampire-human forbidden love; vampire-werewolf is much more interesting and more forbidden :) I would read your Inuyasha story, but I don't know anything about it, sorry :( I really really can't wait to read the next chapter!! The first moments of being a vampire, what will happen? Will Luke attack Leah? I don't think Leah could attack Luke...but so many things could happen dadadaaa!!

That was really a heavy chapter. But it made the fic that much more interesting. I really am sry for her, I thought she was finally happy, but aperantly she's not. What will she do next??? Can't wait to find out.

Alright, you rock. I love how dark and painful this whole thing is, for Leah and her love as well.
I loved the moment when Leah could pinpoint the moment when his scent began to change. That was very powerful.
And that was an extremely powerful choice of words when Edward spoke to Leah about him being a freind and when she saw his red eyes.
Let the glory continue.

I think it's good that Bella and Edward had a fight, it means that they truly love each other.
I loved Leah's moment with Rose. As much as I usually hate Leah, Rosalie is ten times worse. Leah just gave that bitch what was coming to her. Good for her.

Wow! Very, very well done. It all just works so perfectly: that Luke had to be changed so fast, that Luke asked Leah to kill him and Leah had to leave the house. I never know what to expect, but after I read a chapter I think, "Of course; it had to happen exactly that way." You definately get an A+ on character consistancy. And there's also never anything extraneous. You don't get...wordy. You paint a vivid picture without seeming to try.
Author's Response: Wow, thanks, I think I might be blushing. Yeah, I don't like when authors get wordy (like JRR Tolkien, seriously that dude needs to cut back on the description lol) so, I try to not go crazy.

Nicely written transformation. Much deeper than SM's, in my opinion. The way she described it and the way Bella responds to it didn't really add up. Yours is very well done though.

I loved the chapter... but I'm worried about both Leah and Luke's reactions.... its just.. too many variables to consider...
how much Inuyasha do you need to know to understand your story? I loved the first season of Inyahsa.. but I gotta say I'm a stong Kikyo/Inuyasha supporter.
Author's Response: Well, my story focuses around an alternate pairing: Sesshoumaru and Kagome, but I'm pretty sure Kikyo is gonna end up with Inuyasha in the end.
All you really have to know about the show is that they haven't completed the jewel yet, or defeated naraku (i don't know if naraku was in the first season or not, but basically he is evil), and Sesshoumru uses his sword to resurrect a little girl named rin. The rest is pretty much explained, I hope you'll read it! It's good for a few laughs if nothing else.
