She just HAS to get out there and find him! Your EPOV is some of the best I've ever read by the way. He's worth fighting for and although we left her sad and wanting him to come back to her, I say she needs to gather the courage to go out and bring him home to her. Your writing is just superb...please update soon!

Amazing story - I want to know if he can heal enough to speak again, can she help him find a job and enter mainstream life again, does she go looking for him (I would!).
