I had a review earlier that my characters were too hidden, so this chapter is there so that the readers can find out more about Edward and Bella before we can progress. Interesting new idea.  Bella is definitely broken.  Jasper appears to be her only friend.  He understands her being an outcast.  He himself is partially an outcast from his family.  He has Alice Cullen and Bella.  Jasper's sister is still a spoilt brat   Edward and Bella have this pull towards each other.  They both smile like fools when they are together.  Jasper has warned Bella that Edward is a player.  But with Bella he is more animated and happy and so is she.  Bella blaming herself for her mother's death or reason to leave Forks is bogus.  Also Charlie's drinking problem is also not her doing.  None of these events are her fault.  She has done nothing wrong for those things.  It was her mother and father's choices in life.  Bella is a very lovable person.  Jasper is the proof of that.  She needs to learn that and realize that her parents and previous dates, friends it's their problem nothing to do with Bella.  Looking forward to Edward and Bella getting to know each other better.  Very curious about why they both have insecurities and only animated together.

Wow, that's quite a summary, precisely the case here. Jazz and Bella are outcasts, Jazz is a milder case, he's nuts over Alice. Some funny drama between Jazz and Bella is up next chapter regarding Jazz's love life.

Bella does have stunted views of her childhood, but a child can't be blamed for developing misapprehensions, it's amazing how many people carry on such views on later in life. It's important to talk about such issues and Bella doesn't do that, she runs from confrontation, even Jazz is closed off to this area.

Lol, bella and edward are animated together, I think it is important for readers to catch that before I can progress with the story.

I just want to make an appointment with a therapist for Bella.  There are obviously some issues going on there.  I don't know what to think of Edward.  Will there be an EPOV?

The detail in this chapter was staggering. For a longer chapter it is amzing to think it was only a time span of what...15 minutes?  At points I would get lost in the heavy inner monologue and would have to go back and re-read the paragraph.  Perhaps, more dialogue would have broken it up, but then again it could have been my adhd kicking in too.  Will the next chapter have more plot progression or more back story?  Also, will we get any EPOV?

I hate to be critical, but I hope it is at least considered constructive.  It is your story and you have a vision for where it is going, Trust and have faith in your own plot, and don't take any criticism too seriousy, especially mine.

Still in love with this story and the characters.   I like that they aren't shallow and superficial like some other fics I read recently.  There is a real depth to these characters that keeps me coming back for more.

Honestly, I really, really appreciate honest readers. I happen to estimate the general likeability of each chapter by how many reviews it gets so it's helpful to have readers give their opinion and I think your reviews rock!

Yes, it's a little discouraging when readers think the chapter could have been better or could be improved but it is very important. Feedback is the key way to learn. What you said was absolutely correct, it's funny how the other chapters so far are quite fast-paced compared to this one. I wrote the first 7 chapters during my exams, but now that I'm free and I am rewriting them. The original chapter was very short, about 1,200 words or so. I had originally planned on posting it as it was, but I changed my mind when a reader told me how she couldn't relate to my characters, they were too hidden. So I decided to give more clues, and a greater depth to each character.

Very few readers give advice, thank you for being one of them. I should have broken the inner monologue with dialogue, I don't know why that never struck me before. I guess I just wanted their actions to speak louder than words. There probably will be an EPOV, probably a one-shot or so, when I am a little more comfortable with my writing. I can't say when as I'm not too sure myself.

And I will definitely take the review in a constructive manner. Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review of the chapter.

The details of the tension between Edward & Bella were amazing! You are a wonderful writer and I cannot wait for more! I am clueless over  how they may end up married? Will they fall in love, or will it be a marriage of convienence? Great plot!

I think I spent a lot of time on the 'tension' because I really wanted the readers to relate with the characters. It's funny how the chapter covers only 15 min or so, what can I say? Edward stops not only hearts but time as well.

What sets the marriage in motion is unexpected...and honestly, no one has guessed it yet. Whether it is a love marriage or one of convienence, only time wil tell...
