Omg... even the unneccesary details of this unnecessary plot makes no F'ing sense. He didn't beat the Denali's by himself, he said so himself...So why didn't edward pick up on that?. Lucas is not as strong as he is making himself out to be. But lets get back to the B.s you call a plot/climax. Given the fact that he is not that strong, and he lied to bella about being her mate, why the f' is she trying to keep him alive? why the F aren't the cullens trying the AVENGE the DENALI's. Do you really think they would forget their friends??? Do you really think that they would allow lucas to live?. Do you really think that edward and the rest of the family 'appreciates' her efforts to spare his life after what he did?, especially under the bullshit guise that she is doing 'them' a favor? B/c if you do, which you clearly do...then you are just as dumb and naive as you are making bella out to be.
The cullens cannot let this shit go unanswered!. She cannot be in that household, enjoying all the benefits whilst being the reason they lost half of thier family/closest allies, and at the same time the reason why their killer not only lives, but is now has put together a coven of talented vamps, after he got away w/ the murder of the denalis thanks to her need to 'protect' him. All the smiles she would see from that day forward would never reach the eyes. No one would/should love her, due to the price they had to pay to keep her for edward. Even edward would/should resent her for trying to keep him alive?.The cullens are openminded and trusting, but to forgive this would paint them as fools!.
The thing between truth and fiction, is that fiction has to make sense!. This is a work of fiction, but you are not making any F'ING SENSE. It is true This version of bella is naive and stupid w/ a bad case of stockholm syndrome, but that doesn't mean everyone is should be so readily agreeable to her demands, and are unable to act on their own!. IF she is going to get in the way, then take her head off, kill him, then wait till she comes back, let her mourn her 'friend', then move on!. DONE!. All this extra nonsense, is bullshit!.

Im sorry, but Edward is right. W/ bella's abilities to amplify friends and weaken foes. There is no reason for this to be drawn out. There is no reason for her to try and 'figure out' what it is Lucas came for, if its isn't clearly obvious to her dumb ass. She could just strengthen emmett alone and this would all be over.
This is wasteful writing on your part and wasteful reading on mine. I have plenty to read, and now you're wasting my time. You are just drawing this bullshit out for your own pleasure.
And to top it all off... why the fuck does she think the cullens want that asshole to live?, and who the Fawk does she thing she is to make that request of them?... does she think they stopped making a need for revenge after they made her???. Clearly Lucas's act of being her 'supplicant' is just that. It gives her an 'illusion' that she has power over him. It forces her to think that decision being made are her choices, Its the illusion of freedom and choice and more importantly Power!. I grasped that the second she made him take a seat!. B/c I can fucking think!.
