I really love the story, do you know if it is going to be updated again? (No pressure, I'm not complianing)

I really loved the EXB moment in this chapter, very sweet.

And the Charlie and Bella talk on the porch was very touching, I wish more fathers could be like that.

The only complaint I have is the 'Invalid' comments. I know they are kind of common, but it is kind of irritating to an actual invaid... we do as much as we can, and it takes a lot of work to do basic things, so comments like that kind of make us feel like it has all been disregarded, and we are seen as not whole people. Again, this is a popular phrase, so it's not you that is upsetting me, just the general situation about not being 'normal' (Whatever that is, right? :)

9.9 Stars, but I'll give you ten on the rating

actually I think fanfiction made tanya into a witch, I think 'the exfactor' was where I first started hating her - just the name annoys me now

Ok, I was watching an episode of SG-1 while reading this!!!! Love the looks for Edward, JS is hot, and the hair... wow. I really love this story and can/do forgive you for sporadic updates, if I complained it would be the pot calling the kettle black. I still can't wait for an update, but I can wait.

Thanks for taking the time to write and update. I'm off to watch more SG-1!

Thanks again

Leuthy

I'm really looking forward to your next chapter. I hope that RL is allowing you breaks to work on it. :)

Thanks for the update!

So nice to see a christian based story on this site.  Thanks for posting!

This is silly, but I'm glad you gave Renee an age.  She's only a couple years older than me, and I'm about to be a grandma too.  Sigh.  How time flies.

I really liked Charlie's reaction.  That is quite the shock.  I remember receiving it.  They had a lovely talk, and I'm glad he is accepting Edward.

Lovely chapter, and I always am happy when you update.

I read all of this at once...I had some fairly strong reactions to it.

As a college student, I was preparing to enter seminary to become an ordained minister in a Protestant denomination.  I had even learned how to read the anicent Greek that the New Testament is written in - one of the most difficult requirements for Lutheran seminary.  It became clear to me in my senior year of college, however, that outside of the "bubble" of my fairly liberal Lutheran university, "real world" churches in my denomination weren't as accepting, loving, or non-judgemental as what I had experienced in college.  I couldn't agree to serve in a capacity where there was so much hypocracy.

I didn't change my mind because I was pregnant - I wasn't.  But I definitely understood what would happen to me if I became pregnant.  I was in a mature, responsible, sexual relationship with my then-fiance, now husband.  Among my pre-theological studies peers, this wasn't unheard of.  I guess we, and people we knew in similar situations, were smart enough to be exceedingly careful.  But that was the thing that put me over the edge.  One of my male pre-seminary friends had a pregnancy scare with his pre-seminary girlfriend, and I realized that, if he wanted to, he could walk away from that unscathed, with his admission to seminary still intact.  She would not have been so lucky.

That was it for me.  I never sent out the applications for seminary my senior year.  I now work in health and social services for Head Start, where, ironically, the vast majority of my families had children out of wedlock.  Part of what makes me so good at what I do is that I never, ever judge the parents I work with about their marital (or non-marital) status.  Meeting people where they are is too important.  Life's too short to live in hypocracy.  I would have been great as a pastor, but I just couldn't get past the double standards.

I loved the way your wrote Charlie and Bella.  It was so touching.  I was just thinking about this story and wondering when there would be more and here it is!

I am loving this story....I am glad that someone had the experience that Bella is going through so they could give her their insight about what happened in their life...I don't agree at all with the elders because God forgives and it is not their place to judge and I am glad that Carlisle spoke up and said that what he said...I know things will get worse but I hope that Bella and Edward will be able to hold their faith in God and stay together...

I really loved Esme's story and it sounds like the story that my husband's and my pastor told us when we went to him for counseling.  He had just come back home from being gone 2 months due to adultery.  I told him that we needed to talk to our pastor to help get past it.  Yes sometimes I don't like him but we work through our problems now and our love is stronger than it has ever been.  By the way I am so loving this story.....

Author's Response:

Esme's story in this chapter is an altered version of a story a pastor told us.  And currently my husband and I are living it...  my husband didn't cheat, but did a very hurtful thing nonetheless.  Where some people would've supported me leaving him, I stayed.  There are some things just worth working for...

Thank you for the review  :)

I am loving the first chapter...I absolutely love this line in particular "The leap of faith I took along with my new friends gave me a new prospective on life; what we want isn’t always what we need."

Author's Response:

Ahh... the whole lesson of learning that God gives us what we need, not what we want.  I seem to get that lesson a lot.

Thank you for the review  :)

Glad to have you back!  Sorry you've had a rough go these past few months.

Love that Angela's in the picture now.  I hope she gets the position too!  And I'm glad that Bella has a great support system to help her through all of her healing.  I love how you keep incorporating the fact that Bella can feel God's love for her.  That's one of God's amazing miracles.  He has so many children on the earth, and yet his love for us as an individual child can be felt.  He personally knows each one of us.

Can't wait for more...well, I can...your real life priorities do come first...despite what fans think.  :)

Author's Response:

Thank you  :)  When I first wrote this story, I was hesitant to post it, not knowing what others would think about putting God in it.  But I have had an amazing response... which is just a testament about how many of us truly feel God's love.   I wanted to make this story more than about Edward and Bella...  I wanted to show that God's grace is all around us.

Welcome back. This was an excellent chapter and I loved the introduction of Angela :)

Author's Response:

Thank you  :)  I absolutely love Angela.  Heehee.

I'm glad to see another chapter of this, though I fully understand about real life woes.

The earliest years of marriage are tough.  It takes lots of prayer and hard work to get through it.  Blessings.

Author's Response:

Thank you.  I see why early years are tough... but we're making it through.

I just found this story today, and I'm loving it. I fell in love with the twilight series and when I found twilighted I was happy about all the different creative ideas different people had, all that said this is the first time I've found a story that is christian. It's refreshing to read about my favorite characters without it being vulgar. thanks for the story, and I look forward to seeing what you do with it!

Author's Response:

Thank you  :)  I know some stories can go a little overboard, so I'm glad people are responding well to a story like this.

I really love this story.  So much that I just went back and re-read it all.  I'm so glad you updated (and I'm glad that your personal life is back on track).  I had tears in my eyes during this last chapter.

Author's Response:

Thank you  :)  I actually went back to reread my story.  Haha.  It seemed so long ago that I was afraid of contradicting myself in future chapters.  And the fact that you had tears in your eyes is a big compliment.  Thank you.

GREAT story so far! I have to say, having been in the situation you got Carlisle's reaction to the pregnancy spot on... Esme's, however.. well, I'll just say that we were a bit younger (me *almost* 18, him 20 and the pastors son ;)) and she (now mother in law) accused me of corrupting him and 'trapping' him to get him to marry me (HUGE eyeroll right about here). We got the looks, stares, discouraging comments and such.. but we're still here, 5 kids and almost 9 years later :D I have to say that it can be tough though, so many times I wanted to call some of those judgmental people out on their own sins (being with the pastors son I seemed to be privvy to inside information) but He reminds you that just because someone else is doing it (judging when it's not their place) doesn't make it right. Lead by example and all that.  I can't wait to read more! please update quickly!

Author's Response:

Thank you for sharing your experience.  It's wonderful that you're still together despite the judgements...  As for mom's, Bella's just lucky Edward's mom is Esme.  I cannot imagine her doing what your mother-in-law did to you.  I hope she finally came around.

I love that you're back!  I have missed this story, and was so pleasantly surprised when I saw the update in my inbox.  And you came back with such a lovely chapter.

As to all guys being Edward, remember he was 110 years old, and able to read minds, so he knew what would upset people and what would make them happy.  Guys take training, and often a kick in the pants.  I've been married almost 18 years, and can now say, after years of work, that he is my Edward.  We've had hard years, but learning to work through it will make your relationship so much better.

Author's Response:

Thank you for the review and the encouraging words.  I had people (mainly my sister who got ticked off at my husband, and still is) wonder why I even stuck around.  But I made the vow on my wedding day and I stuck around... just with the ultimatum that we'd go to couple counseling (I had my doubts because my husband isn't much for opening up to strangers).  Things are working out now.

Glad things are getting better for you!  Great chapter!  HOpe they hire Angela.

Author's Response:

Thank you  :)  As for Angela, we'll just have to wait and see  :-P

I just found this story and I'm really enjoying it!  As for Edward being able to read the ultrasound, he's a pediatrician so it's not something he does all the time.  If the baby is in an odd position or something it can be hard for someone experienced to tell.

It might be fun have Bella and Edward decide who the pediatrcian will be.  The baby needs a doctor that isn't Edward.  Not that Edward won't treat the baby some of the time because that's life, but he'd be picking from among his collegues.

Author's Response:

Yeah... I know the pediatrician can't be Edward.  But i think it would be funny if after all this I wrote an outtake of trying to find a pediatrician good enough for their child.  I just remembered a scrubs episode where Dr. Cox goes crazy trying to find a good enough doctor for his kid.
