As for Alice, I completely love her, and what people usually fail to realize is that she is RUNNING this show!!!!! (Just don't let Edward know - he likes to think he's the decision maker...)

its sad that bella has mostly forgotten edward....though i understand why....and edward is tortutred daily yet i get why its harder every day and painful for him....she i assume is his mate,,,,,and its painful for mates to be away from eachother

this chapter was devastating,,,,i felt so sad for both bella and edward and sadly a six yr old would forget possibly something like that but edward doesnt get that luxury....
it really is like i imagine what a jake and renessmee story would be like,...you do a great job of writing without making edward appear like a molester lol

Yes, Edward is the greatest big brother/best friend a girl could ever have. I must admit that I'm somewhat jealous of Bella (more so of grown-up Bella, though).
The fate of the treehouse is briefly covered in Chapter 7. Just picture the way kudzu has taken over everything in the south...

Author's Response: Some of Alice's visions are far into the future, and VERY clear, while others are more near term and transient. Alice knows a LOT more about Bella and Edward's future than she's willing to let Edward in on.

That is so cute and different..,,i like that ,,,,its almost like if jake imprinted on nessie in breaking dawn,...feeling protective and wanting to make her feel safe yet when they are older,....
i really like that edward is cool in this so far...he controlled his thirst to talk to her even though she is his singer because she is a child..
i have to say i cant imagine four yr olds being able to say the things that they wrere saying to bella,,,,maybe grade 2s ,,,,kids that young dont say things like that iunless they hear it from there parents,,,,

Author's Response: Thank you so much! Yes, it is very similar to what the wolves go through when they imprint (more to come on that in a later chapter)...
Edward is a LOT stronger than he is willing to give himself credit for (as he will find out - eventually).
I actually had a real life example of the mean girls' behavior from my own daughter's kindergarten class... sadly, and the behavior wasn't new to them at that point. Sometimes it isn't parents that influence the kids, but older siblings. It was heartbreaking for me to have my daughter crying over some of the things they said to her. I wanted to throttle them, but the best I could do was talk with her teacher. :(
Charlie is a great dad to Bella - she is his pride and joy. Even though he isn't the most demonstrative dad in the world (although my Charlie is more so than the original, because he is raising Bella from the start without any involvement from her mother), Bella is very secure in the knowledge that he loves her.

So excited to see an update! Loved the conversation with Edward and jacob. I like this Jacob so much better than SM. It's nice to see him with someone else, in love and happy and happy for Bella and Edward. I loved the Halloween party. So much fun. The Princess Bride is one of my all time favorite movies. Can't wait for the lemons in the next chapter.
Author's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed it!!! I just think Jake has so much more potential if he isn't always pining for Bella. If there relationship is meant to be best friends, then make it as good as it can be! (Plus, I have a great example for Jake's big-hearted personality in my own son!) And poor Leah deserves some love, she can be a really nice person when she's not being screwed over - I thought she got completely reamed in the saga.
The Halloween party research (coming up with the costumes for everyone) was really fun as well! As for the Princess Bride... it is hands down my most favorite movie of ever.
Keep your fingers crossed for me to get Chapter 17 out in a reasonable amount of time...

Fist of all I am already reading all the stories you reccommend, so we must be on the same page. Second, are you kidding me with the "no angst" thing? no sex ever and no changing, come on. It is the most angsty thing one could immagine .... I was going to send you a scorching review, but then you tell us of the NC 17 rating in the next chapter. I just hope it is not just a graphic dream, or it refers to Jacob and Leah or to Jasper and Alice. I hope that Jacob hammered some sense into the emo vamp. BTW a great idea, that one, I loved it, so original.
One final point. If you have to update slowly, do add a little recap at the beginning. I might have forgotten where we were, otherwise ...
Author's Response: Oh thank goodness - I'm so glad you didn't leave a scorching review!!! Edward must be Edward, after all, but Bella's got great support in her corner. Between Alice, Jacob, and Bella, poor Edward's resolve doesn't stand a chance!!! The seed has been planted...
(And speaking of planted seeds, NO - there will be NO little half-vamp/half-human babies in my story. Not that I don't love me some Renesmee, it just doesn't work out in my plot line...)
Thanks for the recap suggestion. I will definitely do a recap in the chapter notes. The same thing happens to me when I get updates, and I always end up re-reading the previous chapter!

OMG honey I am so in awe and in love with the relationships you have with each character...expecially Jacob! I read so many fics in which Edward and Jacob are at odds but this is phenomenol! I love it love it LOVE IT! LoL...oh and Jacob even talking to Edward about "hitting that" Oh lord had tears in my eyes from laughing, so ironic.
The party was a brilliant idea and I am thrilled with everyone's costume choices...

I had always planned for Jacob to be pro Bella/Edward, and his personality is very much like a seventeen year-old (who has a huge heart and would do anything for anybody, but sometimes his brain/mouth filter completely breaks down) that I have for an example at home...
I can't tell you how happy it makes me that you appreciated the costume choices. I spent a LONG time trying to come up with what I thought would be the best fits for our characters. Again, you made my day!!!

Author's Response: I have a perfect example for my Jake's personality in my own 17-year old. I'm working on getting him to focus on things (like his grades, his college applications and studying to re-take his SAT), but, like Jake, he's rather easily distracted. On the plus side, he has a huge heart and would do anything to help anybody (like my Jake). :)

Author's Response: I LOVE writing the Cullens. Emmett sometimes gets on a roll and won't shut up when I'm working on a chapter. Jasper is a gentleman and is much less intrusive. Alice is near and dear to my heart, and seems to be pulling the strings on this puppet show. I tried to make Rosalie a bitch, but she refused and pointed out that she can be quite nice when she wants to.
(It's SO much fun to run around with all these voices in my head... which under ordinary circumstances would define me as crazy and possibly be cause for the requirement of medication and/or institutionalization!)

Author's Response: Thank you SO MUCH! There are times (doesn't happen very often) when I'm re-reading my chapter before I send it for beta-ing when I catch myself laughing, and that was one of them!
I can't even express how happy I am that you enjoyed the "concert" (I wish I really could have been there!!!!) and the playlist. The playlist is evolving as the story is fleshing out from my original outline and early writing, and a great deal of thought goes into the songs I pick for the chapters (since the music is what drives my writing)... Makes me happy to know that it's appreciated!!!! I just wish that the website where I set up my playlist was cooperating. It seems to have lost the links to a good portion of the songs I had on the playlist (and because of this I haven't updated the new songs or deleted the ones that no longer fit). I'm searching for a better alternative, and will include in my notes when I find something that works.
