Yes, I rec'd "The Cube" all over the place.  It is genius.  I think the sequel, "Tilt" might be even funnier, 'cause my husband was sure I was having a siezure while I was reading it... I'm now reading the third story in the series, "Drift" and it's only through Chapter 6, but it rocks completely as well!  I'm not sure if you've read some of her other stories, but she's good on the angst and heartbreak as well amazing humor.  I was reading "A Shadow From The Light" and was bawling my eyes out...  I had to go back and re-read "The Cube" after I finished it just to get back in a good mood!  It will ALWAYS make me laugh!

It's good to see Jacob so supportive of Bella's choices and feelings... now for Edward to get on board, looks like they're set up good for the next chapter. Just hoping this current trip to the treehouse doesn't get tainted by unexpected guests :)

 

i have a few things to say....first off love jake....he and edward have a cool relationship in this story....much better then SM's version...i actually like your jake for one ha ha .....well i did like him at the end of SM's version too,,,,i am glad he told him about erverything and that he gave permission for bella to be a vamp....i am glad that bella brought up earlier about predjudice because it is right and indians have gone through predjudice as well they should know what its like...

Love emmetts comment about the nun and the priest ,,,,sexually repressed ha ha....

i klinda liked the vampire idea lol....

Great party and i really am glad about leah....i always thought it wouldve been better if leah imprinted or vicer versa on jake....i think better then renessmee only because i felt so bad for lonely leah...she got screwed royally in that story lol

I kind of viewed it as the way in the book Quil said he didn't want to date anybody else while he was waiting for Claire to grow up, even though Jacob suggested it...  There is only one person they "imprint" on, and since Edward hadn't met Bella yet, there wasn't anyone who triggered those feelings in him.  He was more of a detached observer (because of the thoughts around him), but never interested in being a participant.  He had his music and intellectual pursuits to keep him occupied.  (That, and blocking out his parents/siblings when they got frisky...)

So no, he never experienced anything like that until now, and OH BOY, the level of intensity is making up for the near-century of lost time...

love nin....and linkin park....i am glad that edward and bella can go to cool concerts together without edward worrying about bellas delicate sensibilites lol

I love NIN and Linkin Park, too!!!  My own iPod is the basis for the "Name that tune" game they played on the way to Portland... and after doing the research on the actual concert, I REALLY wished I could have been there!!!  The setlist for the concert (both by Queens of the Stone Age and by NIN) are available on the interwebs, along with the videos and lyrics for each song.  WAY cool!!!  I have the links on my profile on that other site that rhymes with fanfiction(dot)net...
