Sorry to disappoint you. B gets to call E 'baby' and E's term of endearment for B has always been 'love'. I go by the Twilight series for some of my stuff and that is what he calls her there. I'm just really hung up on it. Besides, it makes me think of RPatz because it's such a British thing to call your girlfriend. Bella is Edward's love to me and that's how it's got to stay. ;)

Wow, a double dipper! You read that last chapter twice! Probably because I made you wait so long for that lemony goodness you didn't believe it was really there and had to go back and make sure. ;) None of my friends would understand if I told them about my secret obsession and the fact that I've written a novel, or by now, a saga. I wonder if your friends will start to read. I think you have to be a dyed in the wool Twilight freak to fully appreciate these stories and their interconnectedness.

I loved this chapter. You are absolutely right, it was the perfect mix. I don't think that I have ever read something so romantic and sexy at the same time. It was great that she freaked a little about the parentals being around.

I'm so glad you let me know that you loved chapter 60. I kind of loved it too. ;) It was rather romantic, sexy and yet awkwardly sweet at the same time. A number of reviewers liked that Bella freaked out when she thought about them being at his parents' home. ;)

But he's such a trooper and he's doing it for his lady love---and maybe to make sure that Jake keeps his hands off. (?) LOL Things did go well for him. Thanks for letting me know that you liked how they met--it was different, no? My next story has an unusual meeting as well. I'll post that when this one ends. I hope you read and enjoy. Yeah, finally! And there's MORE finally in the next chapter. Check out chapter 61. ;) They are both so cute. Chapter 61 is almost ALL Edward and his cute over-thinkage. ;) NO---no little Renesmee in this story. She just showed up as Jakes new flame...apparently he has "imprinted" on her and Edward no longer has to worry about Jake making the moves on Bella. ;)
There will be icing on the cake down the road, though. ;)

I have a great mental picture of charlie tucking Edward into bed - alone, lol!
I am laughing out loud at some of your deliciously-descriptive-dashed-ditties, and the illegal tongue parking!!
That girl's smart - way to a dad's (man's) heart, obviously cook him dinner.
Edward's mind - in Charlie's presence - is a wonder to behold, and so funny.
Ugh, groan! I was really enjoying the whole Swan evening experience - especially the guns and handcuffs - and then...they had to use the chocolate syrup!!! Did you do that on purpose? You know what it does to me! And then you add cream and cherries! I am SO going to get Edward to spank you!
I can't decide if it's sweet or creepy that Edward is so preoccupied with what Jasper would think. lol. I guess it's kind of like he has Edward's back, even though he's not there.

I always enjoy references from the books or films. I might roll my eyes, but I giggle anyway.
My appreciation of your story has waned lately because I have been too tired. By the time I get to indulge a little fanfic, it is late at night and I need something forgetable or even already perused - even then, I've been falling asleep!
I know what you mean about having (or not having) time to update. Since starting to post my own little fic, I am seeing how much time it takes. My chapters are tiny compared to yours and even though the whole thing was written some months ago, I spend hours staring at it and trying to improve it. Then there's all the technical stuff that I am totally crap at!
Oh, must tell you, my baby boy passed his exams to gain a 2.1 degree!!! Now he just needs to ask for a pay rise! Poor thing could only celebrate by coming round for dinner and walking the dog with me, as his girlfriend/cohabitor/maybe-someday-wife went away with her girlfriends for the weekend.
Hope school has settled down a bit for you.

So, you read chapter 56 and liked Edward's day with The Chief...it was trying, to say the least. And maybe he should have paid closer attention to Jasper's words of wisdom---he's breaking all the rules now... LOL
I just posted chapter 61. They've actually DONE IT!!! Twice in one evening. (So far!) ;)
I love the refrences to the book. I like to include them and I love reading them. I think it's paying homage to the original. ;)
I can relate to the task of keeping up with what I'm reading. There are always so many other things that get in the way.
Finding update time has been difficult for me. I know what you are saying. School has been busy and it's going to get busier as we near the end of the semester (or term). It's hard to write when you have to sneak time in here or there and can't have your undivided attention focused on what you are creating. And you don't want to post something that you are not completely satisfied with.
Congratulations to your baby boy. My own boy is turning 23 this Monday. He's finishing his degree and possibly moving back home until he begins graduate work in San Francisco (assuming that works out). My daughter (19) is probably going to be moving out soon, to be closer to the University she attends and the nightlife she craves. :)
So, there is no settling down in this life, there is only one whirlwind after the next. Someday I'll retire. By then I'll be probably be a grandma, writing about seventeen-year-old hot boys that stir the imaginations of girls of all ages. ;)

That was so worth the wait! Although I must admit I missed Edward's thoughts in this chapter, it was still sooo satisfying!
Could that boy be any more perfect? A new course in the Edward's class of Love syllabus is "Setting the Scene...Remembering all the little details."
I laughed at the thought of the crew showing up at the window and cheering them on. That would be such an Emmett thing to do. Shouting instructions and encouragement. All in the name of being a Good Brother and Resident Advisor of course. Luckily for Bella, Edward doesn't need any instruction at all.

I'm sorry I'm so slow in replying. I've had too much going on this last week and I really wanted to get the next chapter of The Transfer up. It is now. And it's almost entirely Edward's sweet/smart/silly/slightly vulgar/rather sexy POV.
And no...he couldn't possibly be any more perfect. I need to sign my hubs up for the class you mentioned: "Setting the Scene...Remembering All the Little Details. " He used to. I think he needs a refresher course. Or maybe senility is just beginning to set in. ;)
Couldn't you just picture Emmett and Jasper doing a chest-bump, while Alice did cartwheels and hugged herself outside the steamy window wall of the poolhouse? Rose would probably stand there filing her nails and chewing gum. And then she'd slap Emmett...and maybe Jasper in the back of the head for behaving like juveniles. LOL

The most amazing E/B first time I have ever read! I liked how you really described what the room looked like. He was sooo soo sweet and thoughtful and kind and considerate.. just perfect. - are we sure he is ficitonal :P
Also loved his "sensory overload" I think it showed how overwhelmed he was by this whole situation and how much it meant to him to be with her.
It was a real intimate chapter. Well done Well done Well done :)
I missed EPOV as well.. wonder what went on in that pretty head of his when they were together and he had his case of sensory overload.. So cant wait to hear from him next chapter.
How many chapter are actually left - I lost count? Will the be an epilogue - like into the future after they have graduatued? And how is the new story coming along?

"The most amazing E/B first time ever." Wow! I'm glad you liked my description of the room. I really like descriptive writing. Thomas Mann was one of my favorite German authors---very descriptive.
Edward was rather sweet, wasn't he? and kind. And considerate. He is the perfect man-boy. And unfortunately he is fictional, but he lives in the hearts of so very many, world-wide. ;)
There is more on the "sensory overload" in chapter 61, which I've just posted. I hope you enjoy his take on things. I love being inside Edward's head...since I can't be inside Edward's bed. :( I think you will like his description of the whole sensory overload scene. I thought about your review as I was working on that part of chapter 61.) ;)
It was an intimate, innocent chapter. Slightly awkward and sweet...just like the two of them. Very first-timey, I think.
I have two regular chapters left, I believe. And then I'm going to write two additional chapters, one of which is an epilogue, the other one falls into its own category and I'm not really sure how to classify it. ;)
I have let the new story linger, because there would be a wait time of about three weeks to post anything (even additional chapters of The Transfer) once I submit new material. I think my readers would be too antsy, waiting over three weeks for the next chapter of The Transfer, so I'll wait and start posting that when this story has ended. Maybe I can put a teaser at the end of The Transfer??? I'll have to check with the powers that be on that. They might not go for that.
Anyway, glad you loved the last chapter. Hope you like the new one.
