That was a really great chapter... Im sad for them to go back to school but then again... I really missed everyone else... except sicko James... I hope Edward makes it to Bella in time... Glad you liked the chapter. It had a lot of good stuff between E & B, I think. So, it's sad for the bubble to pop and for them to have to get back to reality Even sadder that the reality has James, the psycho-stalker, but the good news is...the gangs will also be there and that will turn out to be a good thing.
Protectiveward to the rescue. At least Edward is fast...very fast...hopefully he gets to Bella in time. *Fingers crossed.* I hope to update on New Year's Day

Author's Response: I'm glad you loved the near-drop in the shower! I had to put in something goofy, you know? And things worked out okay in the end. ;) Everyone always writes these fics with a perfect Edward, but he's still learning, you know? There's always room for improvement. He can work on the shower maneuver.

Congrats on your 25th! You have been quite the busy bee. Between celebrating an anniversary, getting ready for the holiday, and moving children it's a wonder you have had time to write at all. My youngin came home last week. You would think she was the first freshman to ever get through dead week and finals. Edward went all out. Not only did Bella get a little morning delight but she got 5 ek pancakes too. Not to mention the come to Jesus time in the shower. I have to admit I am a little envious. I know i've said it before but I love me some Emmett. I can understand why Edward wanted to call James but i'm not sure that was the best idea. I hope he will be dealt with soon and no one gets hurt.

Edward gave Bella a lovely morning: himself (twice!) and mor 5 ek pancakes. What a doll! I am envious just as you are. Although, I'd wait until Edward perfected his shower move a little more first. I love the term "the come to Jesus time in the shower." Seems quite appropriate!
Emmett will be back shortly. Glad to know that you love him...even though he is, apparently, a Numb-Nuts. Why else would he ask Edward to call him that?
And of course calling James wasn't the best idea Edward has ever had, but neither was abandoning Bella in the forest in New Moon, right? We know the boy makes some less than stellar decisions, this phone call to James being one of them. But put yourself in his position: he had just spent such a lovely time with his lovely in their own little bubble, just to get hit with the cold, hard slap in the face that is the reality of James lurking about the dorm, hunting for his girl. And then to watch her all sweet and carefree as she walked to and fro at the gas station, it just pushed him to do something, albeit not-well-thought-out.
So now they will have to deal with the repurcussions. Just remember that Edward is protective and he's fast...very fast. ;)

I love 'mor 5 ek' But going back to reality kinda sucks.
I'd really like to see Bella hold her own against James. She's a cop's daughter not a helpless damsel in distress.
Author's Response: I would think that mor 5 ek pancakes with Edward would be the best pancakes in the world. Reality does kind of suck, doesn't it? At least Bella and Edward's current reality. But you are right. This Bella is not a damsel in distress sort. She's a cop's daughter and she's a smart girl. Still...she's got a psycho after her. She's going to need some help.

Edward......5 times in 24hrs AND chocolate chip pancakes??----dear god banner, you will be the death of me. Not sure how Edward pulled off that last shower move without maiming or injuring either or both of them.....I tend to think shower sex is only for trained professionals or those with stunt doubles!! I knew James would rear his fugly head but I didn't think Edward was that stupid as to goad him into reacting---I guess that's what you get when you let your possessive and jealous tendencies rule, he wouldn't be Edward if he didn't do such foolish things. As for you and your Edward, congrats and good on you....hope you are shagging like mad in your own pool house, all the best.
Author's Response: Of course Edward is capable of 5 times in 24 hours (or actually only about 18 hours!) and of course he can make chocolate hip pancakes sexy. I had to do the near-drop shower move. Every fic you read has miraculous sex with no faux pas...I had to be different, plyus my Edward can handle that...besides he's learning and making this stuff up as he goes along. You've got to give him credit for trying...and for his research. ;)
I think Edward, goading James, was unintentional. We know he acts without thinking sometimes. But I think he felt slapped in the face after the lovliness of the past day with the reality of James still being out there, still out to harrass Bella. When he talked with Emmett and found out James had been to the dorm once again and meanwhile watched carefree, sweet Bella as she walked to and fro at the gas station, he just snapped.
And you are right, he wouldn't be Edward is he wasn't jealous, possessive and didn't do such foolish things.

Glad you enjoyed chapter 62. I think B & E are really coming into their own as they discover their physical relationship. They are just so right for each other everything seems so natural and easy. And fun. I'm glad you've enjoyed The Transfer so much. I've had a great time writing it, and I don't take offense to the "loose ends" that is exactly what is hanging over their heads. The James situation has to be dealt with so they can really move forward.
I hope you enjoy chapter 63. It took me a lot longer to get that one posted. I had some difficulties with writing, heading in a direction that I wasn't happy with, so I think I got it right now.

That Dick has such a life of it's own, I'm surprised it's not telling the story. You know I can't look anyone called Richard in the face again!

And you're right in there with book references. LOL. Of course Edward wouldn't leave her in the forest and of course there are no wolf packs out there.
I AM suitably impressed by his prowess with squirrels - they are vicious little buggers!!

I envy you your snow--although then I suppose I would have to shovel said snow. We've got rain. Actually we've got RAIN---torrential downpours for days. I don't know where it all comes from, but California is surely getting ready to float off into the Pacific Ocean.
Cheers to your baby boy! My own baby boy just moved back home for a semester. He's a college graduate now, but is applying to graduate school for the summer. We'll see. Baby girl just moved out to be closer to her school and to begin having a life of her own. Heaven help me!
Now, as to your review of Chapter 57: Yeah, that Dick gets into a lot of steamy action. Maybe Dick will get his own POV in a future chapter. LOL
I can't help my book references, that's one of the challenges I think, tying things in with the book in a different, creative manner.
Glad you love Charlie. Chief Swan to the rescue. See, they always tell you a policeman is your best friend, and no one ever believes that, but he was a good friend to poor edward in the face of the Semi-Naked-Boy pack. And Charlie's gun...of course I had to include that...the gun plays the important role of messing with edward's mind. ;)
I sincerely hope you're not picking on me about being a wordy bitch. Are you? You are? Okay, I'll readily admit that I suffer from Edward Cullenismus--a tendency to overstate, over-analyze and overthink every little aspect of what is happening. And I tell a story despite my debilitating illness. And manage to incorporate my debilitating illness.
Have you read Master of the Universe? I've been thinking of you. I'm totally addicted to that fic and I've been hanging out on the forum thread for it, waiting for updates and...get ready for this...writing parodies of Christmas Carols that are based on the MotU story. I even wrote a parody of "A Visit From St. Nick". It made me think of you as I worked on the poetry and rhyme-scheme aspects of those things. Great fun. I think I've found my new calling in life. I'm going to quit teaching. ;)
