This story is amazing, please keep it up (plus I love the frequent updates, I want more)!

Author's Response:

Thanks for the Storylove! I will keep it up and I will continue to update weekly, if not sooner. There is more....so much more coming. Stay tuned for Angstward and Funward, all in one chapter up next.

Thanks for reading and reviewing. Keep in touch, Libstar.

I'm with Bella re: Jake and college. To be 19 and settled into everything you're ever gonna have, in Forks? Not enough, thanks.  And if it's meant to be, it will still be, after she's had a few years to spread her wings. and honestly, Jake should go out and see some things, and date some other people, so he knows he's choosing Bella, and not just drifting into her.  I'm a Bella myself - I found college pretty boring, as I didn't drink/party/drug, and went to college in the ass end of nowhere. :)  I typically did laundry on Friday nights, and hung out with my dorky friends. (me being Queen Dork!)  Jake's fears that she'll change suddenly probably aren't justified - sure, she'll get shitfaced a time or two, but nothing that'll get her arrested, I'm sure. :)

I like that Edward's music soothes that savage beast in Bella. And that he can play.  I wonder about the anti-dating stance he's taken, and the melancholy that drives his music. Hmm, I guess I need to keep reading! :)

Author's Response:

I was pretty much a Bella myself when I went off to college. Maybe not when I finished---by then I had broken up with my Jake and begun dating my Edward. But you are right---19 is too young to decide to just stay put, expecially if you are curious about what else is out there in the world. Jake should get out there a little too. He can always return to Forks, but he shouldn't be trying to pigeonhole Bella.

I had to laugh. There is a laundry chapter in the future. I will think of you and your spicy Friday nights when I get there. ;) I hope you remember this when you read it.

Stay tuned for Edward's backstory---it's a few chapter away and it will completely explain the melancholy. So.....keep reading.....and let me know what you think!

Thanks for reading and taking the time to review. Keep in touch.

time to bring on the Jake drama so we can start the Bella and Edward love fest!!!
Deborahlicious

Author's Response:

There are a few other things to develop, Deb, however, Jake is on the horizon, the relatively near horizon. And it's not going to be pretty. Oh, and I should probably let you know that I'm BIG on foreplay, so relax, have a sip of wine and unwind.....you better be in this for the long haul---I will make it very worth your while. I'm just going to make you wait. ;)

Thanks for reading and reviewing. Keep in touch, girl.

well-done apology, Edward!  and classy of Bella to pay for the tow guy.  We've made amends now....can we get to the sexin'?? haha!

ewww, Jessica and Victoria :P

Author's Response:

They've made amends, but they have no clue that they are meant to be together. Give them time to get all angsty and cutsey!

Jessica and Victoria have their uses---they'll be important in this story. Cut them some slack, they won't touch our hot little Edward. ;)

Thanks for reading. Hope you continue to enjoy. Keep me posted.

I know Bella doesn't want tohurt anyone but she's gotta buck up& dump Jake! I felt horrible when I dumped my boyfriend for trying to control me.

Author's Response:

Being the dumper is nearly as bad as being the dumpee. Most of us have probably been there at some point. The worst position to be in is the one where you really don't dislike choice #!, you just know that you need choice #2 more. Bella is nearly there. It's not going to be pretty.

Aww can you let the author I adore know I think this was an awesome chapter! And (at the risk of revealing my age) this chapter brought to mind when Zach and Kelly broke up http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5cr3x_saved-by-the-bell-breakup_shortfilms  (of course Zach and Kelly were the ones that were supposed to be together but I digress;p) Too bad Jake can't take the high road like Zach did!

Author's Response:

Hey SonnieShine! The author you adore just adores how you adore the author you adore. Thanks for the Chapterlove! At the risk of sounding prehistoric, I'm waaaaay older than the whole saved by the bell deal, but my son was a big fan. Jake is on the horizon. Unfortunately , he won't stay there.;)

Thanks for reading and reviewing. Keep in touch, Sonnie.

I have been in this kind of situation before and yes it is NOT easy. Especially when your family likes your now bf but you find someone else that you want or YOU realized this person isn't right for you. Yeah not a fun situation bella is in. I know i have whined and wanted to hurry up and get jacob's visit done but i've learned from 2 fics (Loner and Misplaced Trust) that situations that happen in reali life need to be drawn out, just like this. I wouldn't want all of a sudden Bella going okay jake we're done i want edward now and then next chap she jumps in bed with edward and NOTHING happens they are all happy go lucky. no reprecussions, no reaction from her family, no reactions from jake and co yeah...that would be a typical very poor written fanfic and you are not that at all. All the fics I have read on this site NEVER come across as that type of author/write and i'm happy about that :)

can't wait for another update!! :)

Author's Response:

Yup, been there, done that. This story is a little bit autobiographical. And I know lots of us share these experiences. They are life experiences. You are right---everyone is happy with your status quo, but you suddenly need/want someone different and it's an ugly situation to find yourself in. Especially when you don't dislike the original guy, you just need to move on. You still love number 1, but you are attracted inexplicably to number 2. I write about the daily experience, so it's not going to be fast, just like real life isn't fast. It takes time to make these heartwrenching decisions. We wouldn't respect Bella if she were callous toward Jacob, and things could always go the other way, which is what Edward is worried about. So, they will just have to make it through the next 5-6 days as best they can. And that means lots of angst and worries and a little bit of fun, too. That's life. That's what I'm writing. thanks for appreciating that fact. ;)

Next update in a few days. it will bring us up to the day before Jake's visit.

Thanks for the kind words. Keep in touch.

you have me on the edge of my seat!  I want, no NEED these two to get together!  You are killing me!  in a good way :)

Author's Response:

Put your seatbelt on so you don't fall off the edge of your seat! You NEED these two to get together and these two NEED to get together, but it's going to be a slow torment to get them there. ;) lol Can't help it, it's just the way I am, it's just the way I write.

If I have to kill someone, it might as well be in a good way. I'll try to be gentle.

Meanwhile---there is a new chapter in the queue, waiting on validation. It just might give you a little more of what you are craving--I know it gives Edward a little more of what he's craving.  ;)

Keep in touch. Let me know what you think of the next chappie. Thanks for reading and reviewing.

Jakey needs to be kicked to the curb for his immaturity, and then Edward can start "courting" his lady. I think Bella needs to go all Tank Girl on his ass and just take control. I can see her pushing him into a dark corner, making him go crazy. Restrained hands, Bella telling him like it is, and what she wants. Go BELLA!

Deborahlicious

Author's Response:

Jakey's not going to last long. Bella's got some serious stuff to consider and it's happening now. "Courting" is exactly what my Edward will be doing. You have hit the nail on the head, girlfriend! Just you wait and see how right you are. There WILL be a dark corner in their future and Edward will go crazy and that will be the catalyst for the whole thing.

I don't know Deborah---it sounds like you need to be writing a fan fic. ;)  You've got some delish ideas.

Thanks for reading and reviewing.

Great start to this story---had me laughing in QUITE a few places!!  I love it already!

Author's Response:

Glad to know you enjoyed it. Not every chapter will have that much hilarity. There are big scoops of angst and romance mixed in as well. But there will be more silliness. I'm kind of that way. I hope you continue to enjoy it. Keep me posted.

Dear Ms. Banner........

Well well well.....Little Edddie wantin to get his mack on!!!!!!!and the texting now that was just cute!!!!!!! but as always our poor little Eddie has to go and second guess Bella..... "maybe I have now could also mean maybe I haven't"....Edward have a little faith!!!!!! Bella thinking more about the relationship with Jake..... so much insight now but hinesight is always 20/20.....but good for her she needs a man that is supportive of what ever her chioces might be!!!!!!!hahahahahahaha I just had a wonderful thought  Cookies and Ice Cream could become a code for something else( thanks Jessica and Angela) could they be lemon cookies and ice cream!!!!!!!! I know I am a sick twisted woman but with these 2 I can't help it!!!!!!!!!!there is the Storylove!!!!!!!

now for some personal love:  sending some homemade chicken soup via the internet to help you feel better!!!!!!!!!!! hang in there those spring/summer colds are always the worst!!!!!!! Get Well Soon E & B need you to get them through all this stuff

Keep in Touch

Twi-H

Author's Response:

Little Eddie is short-circuiting!!!!!!!!!!! He didn't expect all this so fast. But Mackward can be noble---we all know that, so he's just gonna have to keep those lips parked until Bella is ready, willing and able. Glad you liked the texting. I've got a few more romantic/entertaining texting scenes coming down the road!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are right about Secondguessward. He's just GOT to overanalyze!!!!!!!!!!! but with his history, you can see how he wouldn't want to throw himself into something that might hurt him.

Stay tuned for Bella doing some more soul searching!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cookies and Ice Cream does sound like good code word material.

Thanks for the Storylove and the personal love. I was a slow-mo this week, but there should be an update for you in a day or two---it's in the queue waiting on validation. Thanks for the delicious chicken soup for the soul---it worked wonders.

Thanks for reading, reviewing, soup-sending, and exclaiming!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're a doll!!!!!!!!!!

Good job! Sometimes when I'm reading what the characters are saying, I feel like its very...fake. I feel like everyone is always peppy. Your writing is descriptive and I like it very much, but that's just one of the things I noticed. (:

Author's Response:

I've been busy updating--it hasn't been validated yet, but it's in the queue. Anyway, I've been slow to respond to the reviews. I hope the next chapter will seem like more realistic dialogue to you. It certainly isn't constantly peppy. It's rather angsty.

Glad to see things are progressing a bit further between Bella and Edward, but not quite fast enough for my liking!   Bella will crack soon enough, I have faith!

Apologies for my lack of review for the last chapter, my finals have been this week, but they are nearly over!

As always, great chapter! Can't wait for the next.

Author's Response:

A little more progression in the next chapter, bellamina. Good things come to those who wait. Patience is a virtue and all that annoying stuff. They will get there. Have faith, because I love a good love story and I will give you one.

Hope your finals went well. I am a teacher and I have one more month of school. I can't wait!

poor bella and edward! i feel so bad for her and the fact that she and jake are just together out of habit, or comfort. and the fact that hes using her insecrurites against her! its really not fair to either of them! i think that if he sows his true colors during his visit she should break up with him

Author's Response:

Poor Bella and Edward and Jake. Triangles are the most uncomfortable of relationships. Someone's going to get hurt---but it's never just one person---all three will be hurt by the time the situation is resolved.

It does seem like the exspiration date on her relationship with Jake has come.

Thanks for reading and taking the time to review.

I sometimes wish Bella would have fell off her loft so she would get some sense knocked into her. I can't complain though...she sneakily admitted she feels something for Edward other than friendship so that's a plus.

Author's Response:

She's reevaluating and realizing that Jacob's just not cutting it. He's on the way out---she just has to do it the right way. Edward can be noble----but for how long? ;)

Thanks for reading and reviewing.

Author's Response:

Thanks kay! It sounds like you're hooked! Thanks for the Storylove! and thanks for fave-ing me. It's a different, lighter B & E, but there will still be some tension, mixed in with laughs and later LEMONS!!!

I will keep writing---I will not let you down.
