Oh honey you never cease to amaze me...wow that makeout scene off road was pretty freaking hot. I love that Edward is thinking about where he wants his relationship with Bella to go...him musings are very entertaining.
LMAO...oh lord I can't believe he bought tampons! God it took my husband ten freakin years to break down and do that for me. I am so in love with Edward and Alice was right...major boyfriend points there. LOL...Jasper and Emmett are totally screwed. =)
Eeepppp! Holy Freakin Hale! Jake is there...What the hell?
Author's Response: Hi AJ!!
Glad you liked that makeout scene. It just goes to show that kissing Edward, in any location, is a very sexy situation. Glad you like horny, loving Edward and his sexual musings. He's very focused, now that he and Bella are...um...an item.
The way to a woman's heart must be through the purchase of tampons. I can't remember if my hubs ever bought me tampons, but I know he did buy me pads after the birth of our first child. I think it was his way of thanking me for giving him a son. ;) You can tell it made an impact on me because that was nearly 24 years ago. ;)
And Holy Freakin'Hale, Yep! The Dog has come sniffing around. What the hell will be delved into in the next installment of this reeeeeaaalllyyy lllllooooonnnngg fic. thanks for the review and the giggles.

Ah, I don't want to ring your neck, pretty girl. Maybe bend your pinky back a bit, but that's all. LOL
I remember the boyfriend/tampon scenario well. He didn't actually buy them, he was with me when I bought them, and he wouldn't even stand next to me in line, the chump. Why does that freak guys out so? It's not like we're asking them to help us, um..use them. Sorry, gross. But true. Thank God, I work in a drugstore so I have access to my own feminine hygeine, thank you very much.
I loved how Edward said/thought this is our first period together. Seriously, the boy is too cute. Alice was right: serious boyfriend points.
Ok, the pink elephant here. What the hell is the dog doing there? Come one, BD... my boy has had enough angst for awhile. Send the little mutt on his merry way and lets get back to the important stuff, like Edward in his boxers. Yes, I could read a whole chapter of that alone.
BTW, my puppy is doing much better. He's finally eating again. That was two weeks of stress I don't want to relive. He's just too little to have been so sick. But hubs and I took good care of him. Aww...
Oh, and where did those weeds come from, Jake? Please..make the madness stop. Don't want to hear any apologies for the mollesting in the hospital hallway. Just pack him and his wagging tail I mean tongue up and send him back to the pound. HeHe.
Hope your weekend is fab; I'm resting because I deserve it. LOL So happy for the update. They make my week in a big way. Should I drink some scotch before the next update? If so, let me know. A girl has to be prepared. Love ya!
Author's Response: Hi muldergirl!
Thanks for going easy on me. I can still type pretty well with my pinky in a splint. ;) My husband bought me pads once, right shortly after I had delivered our first child. I think it was his way of thanking me for giving him a son. LOL
Yeah, I think the period is pretty much a shared thing, whether the boys like it or not. It affects us and that in turn affects them. At least Edward is man enough to recognize that fact. One reader's comment was simply, "Edward must have a large peen." I nearly fell out of my chair at that one!
The dog, someone should smack him on the snout with a rolled up newspaper and send him home. (Just so you know---I would never do that to a doggy!) We shall just have to wait and see why Jake would turn up now.
Glad to know your pup is doing well. You feel so bad for them when something is wrong, because they don't understand.
The weedy bouquet will be addressed next chapter as well. But, just so you know, Jake WILL be apologizing for the hospital kiss.
I've had a great weekend---I've been furiously working on the next chapter. I hope to update on Tuesday. Maybe have the bottle of scotch handy just in case. I had an overabundance of gin, myself, last night. Maybe I was still a little loopy this morning and that's why I was pretty eloquent with the next chapter. ;)
Thanks for the lovely/lengthy review. I really enjoyed it.

I agree with Alice, Edward gets major boyfriend points!!! I think the flowers are foreshadowing something coming up with James. And now Jake's back! Does he EVER go away? Poor Bella hit with the double wammy- I was a little anxious for her to get caught up with her school work since I'm a little bit of a control freak that way. Just when I think I've got things figured out, the storyline changes! You must have lots of plot twists up your sleeve!
Author's Response: Almost every reviewer has gushed about Edward buying tampons for B. ;) I can't say anything about the flowers, but I will update on Tuesday, I hope. Jake is a boomerang kind of a guy, isn't he? Poor Bella, the double whammy, Jake, mystery flowers, piles of homework on top of piles of homework. I bet she'd like a normal day, just for once. Maybe she needs to run away to Denali National Park in Alaska for a bit. ;)
I can't help my plot twists. They're a figment of my twisted imagination. LOL
Thanks for the review. Stay tuned for further developments.

Love the drama!!!! You fycking better update soon! As much as I can't stand j he brings the jealousy out of e.
Author's Response: Hi Y!
Well, there's all kinds of drama now, right? I hope to update on Tuesday, I've been working like a fiend all day today on the next chappie. If you like J because he brings out E's jealous streak, then you're going to like the next chapter. ;)
Thaks for the review.

That says a lot for Edward to get her tampons (kudos for taking advantage of the visual aid). I will be married 22 years next month and my husband still whines about it. I'm hoping Charlie brought her truck back.
Author's Response: It takes a certain amount of confidence to buy one's lady love tampons, no? One reviewer stated that Edward must have a large peen. I almost fell out of my chair laughing at that one. Maybe that's where his confidence comes from. ;) My husband changes channels on the TV if there's a commercial on about feminine hygiene.
And no...Charlie is back in Forks, keeping the peace.
Thanks for the review.

Oh shit on a stick with the truck! How sweet is Edward! That's it! I'm going to find that boy and ravage him...I'll fight Bella to the death for that man. I just love the awkwardness of the tampon convo :)
Author's Response: Hi HC!
Yep. The truck is back. Apparently the way to a woman's heart is to buy her tampons. Almost every review mentioned that as the high point! :) Nothing cuter than an awkwardly helpful Edward doing something embarrassing for his lady love just because he loves her. ;)

Edward is so sweet to take care of her and buy her tampons.
I wonder where the flowers came from. Weird.
I can't believe you left of where you did. Jake?
Author's Response: It's funny how the way to a woman's heart appears to be to buy her tampons. ;) The flowers will be addressed in the next chapter. I promise to pick right up where I left off in the next chappie! And yes, Jake.
Thaks for the review. I hope to post by Tuesday.

Hi Bannerday, (where does that come from?)
My poetry mojo has gone into hiding again, and I don't have a story on the go (I hate it when I finish a story, it's like coming down off a high - I think, wouldn't know for sure.), so I've had to entertain myself! Especially as I don't have any more Transfer to read, lol.
So today, (inbetween and around work) I have watched Supernova - YUM!! Yes I was nuts enough to buy the dvd! At least it was cheap. Do you know, I can't even find P's name on the box!!!!!
Then I've gone and read all our review/reply fics and laughed my arse off!!!!
And now I'm sending you some Scottish fun in remembrance of the skilt! Hope for your sake I actually remember to add the links, lol!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kO9ZNQRm-s
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VpqFue2OmhQ
It may be Friday by the time you look at this, so a good way to start your weekend! At least you're a week nearer the summer!! lol
Have fun, Isabel
Author's Response: Hi Isabel!
So here's the scoop on "Bannerday": Since I am a teacher, I chose Mr. Banner's name, but then I think the term banner day means a really great day with banners, flags and pennants flying, so I went with that. I dunno. I suppose that's kind of convoluted. I'm sure I could have done better when I picked a penname, I just wasn't really thinking.
Where is your work posted? Is it posted? And more importantly: How many times have you watched Supernova since purchasing the DVD??? lol
I'll check out the skilt links. I haven't done so yet. I've been frantically working on chapter 51. :)
Thanks for the entertainment. Have yourself a great weekend and as acceptable a coming week as possible.

Well, I really don't need to review this chapter! You've done it yourself at the end, lol. I think you sum it up perfectly!!
Thanks for reminding me what it was about. When something is written that well I just steamroller through, finish and go "Wow! Now, what happened?" Then I have to read it through again, lol.
As usual, this chapter was beautiful
Ooooh, I found that supernova clip! Endless thanks for the tip!!!
Unfortunately my poetry mojo has gone elsewhere. So, just for you, here's a sneak peak at my next project:
Twilight, Carlisle's POV.
On a January afternoon, cloudy, cold and grey,
Edward called my cell phone, said he had to get away.
I met him in the parking lot away from prying eyes.
We had too many secrets, had told too many lies.
And Edward felt it safer he give humans a wide berth,
He had a raging thirst and knew it was not worth
the consequence for all of us if he made one little slip
I knew he would be fine if he could only get a grip.
He could be very emotional, a bit of a drama child,
but he'd never been this rattled, his face and voice were wild.
A new girl at the High School had appealed to him too much.
"I'm going to Denali, tell Esme I'll be in touch."
"You won't want to stop for gas, and I've just filled up the Merc."
He thanked me as he tool the keys, and I went back to work.
I hope I manage to carry it on, I've already done New Moon from Edward's POV.
I actually started a poem after beginning to read your story, but I didn't get very far, only six lines!! lol. I don't know why some things don't progress, but I'm glad I got to do a bit of poetry later.
FYI, here are the six lines. Maybe you can add them to your collection.
All you college girls, listen to my lament
University buildings are more than sand and cement.
They're full of dangerous items, girls and boys and carts.
Rotten little phone thieves, and cacti throwing darts.
Celtic bossy bitches showing you their crystals,
and gyrating Newtons trying to grab your bristols.
It's kind of sad to get to the end of that Cullen weekend. My head's already in a strange place, in a bit of a limbo, I expect you know the sort of thing, when you finish things you've been doing for a while, and that weekend feels like that too.
Ha ha, I must be getting tired again, lol. I'll go before I make a complete tit of myself!
Have a good evening, Isabel
Author's Response: Hi Isabel!
You are officially the Queen of the Lengthy Review---complete with literary marvels, aka your poetry. I just love it!!!!!
I have to tell you, there is a chapter title in The Transfer that you will be particularly fond of, since it bears the same name as P's behind-baring film. Thought you'd like to know. ;)
I'm running behind (not P's behind, just "behind the times") with my replies. i posted chapter 50 and have gotten so many reviews I'm now swamped.
I loved the excerpt from Twilight in Carlisle's POV--it's nice to see that POV, looking at what his "son" is going through. I hope you continue.
I'd like to read the New Moon from E's POV in poetry form too. I'm flattered that you started to do one for The Transfer. I'm impressed.
Thanks for sharing your talent with me. I really do enjoy it. And thanks for the review.

Ah. Coming to rescue damsels in distress often increases a dude's feelings of well being. Edward must be feeling pretty happy with himself.
Author's Response: Nothing like Mike Newton to plant the seeds of jealousy. And there's a little bit of protective Edward coming out to play. Edward is equal parts happy with himself and reluctant to come out of his shell. But we know which half will win out in the end.

It's actually a good thing that Jake is butting in. First, Edward won't think she's on the prowl for a boyfriend, so he'll relax and get to know her more. Second, eventually he'll get jealous and a little insecure. It's good to keep the good looking ones off balance.
Author's Response: You've hit the nail on the head. Jake is butting in, making Bella miserable. Edward sees that she's got a boyfriend, so he figures she's "safe" and he will get to know her. Jealousy and insecurity will definitely ensue for Edward, along with frustration and then recognition for Bella---it's the magic recipe. ;)
I love your last statement: <It's good to keep the good looking ones off balance.> You are so right. And one of the most attractive things about Edward is that he has no idea that he is so attractive or what makes him attractive. But Bella does...and that's the important thing. She's noticing all of his beauty-inner as well as outer, even though he's showing that only grudgingly.
Great review.

Bella needs to stand up to Victoria just like she stood up to Edward. Bullies like Victoria only respond to strength. If you keep capitulating to them, they keep bullying.
Author's Response: I think Bella is kind of a people pleaser---she doesn't really like to rock the boat, although she did get mad at Edward for being a Hot Jerk/Jerkoff. She's probably a little more reluctant to rock the boat too much with Victoria because she's got to live with her. But I agree with you---people like that just need to be stood up to. I know, this Victoria is loosely based on my own college roommate---the one that moved out after a quarter and then I roomed with my Alice. ;)
Thanks,

Ah Jake. She's slipping through your fingers, and there's nothing you can do. Read the signs and move on.
Author's Response: You are so right, sirius! She is slipping through his fingers and he's pushing her away at the same time. There is nothing he can do, it's time for a change. Easier said than done. But eventually, maybe he'll catch on.

That's just toooo funny! Now that the weekend is over and they are back at school come next chapter I am so wondering what else they can get into or experience. I am sure with the six pack together it will be nothing but hiliarious Im sure. I am just not sure I want it to end though. So much needs to happen if you know what I mean. Cant wait to next update. You are an update pro. Props to your beta too!!

Author's Response: Hi LuvTwi!
Glad you liked sneaky peeker Bella, and covert watcher Edward. Just you wait for what reality brings these two. ;) There will be some hilarity---and there have been some advances made around the dorm. Much will happen. And I'll be wordy---so maybe 10 chapter is a pipe dream. It could be closer to 40. ;)
Hopefully you'll get an update tonight or tomorrow. Chapter 50 is raring to go.
I am my own beta---although I do have a validating beta.
Thanks for the review.
