I'm glad Bella realizes what a sweetheart Edward is. The fact that he would go out of his way to help Jake's family speaks volumes. As far as the next two chapters are concerned...let the games begin.

I'm waaaaay behind in replies. I know you already read chapter 60, I'll get there. Bella isn't taking Edward for granted a bit. That's good, because there's a line of about a million women right behind her if things don't work out between her and Edward. ;) But you are right, it was a big deal for him to go help out at the Black's, just like it was a big deal for Jacob to invite Edward in the first place. That just goes to show that Bella has pretty good taste in men. ;)
And you already know that the games have begun...;)

Yeah they can skip the bonfire, they are going to get fireworks! I think if there is a reward for the biggest build up to a sexscape you win! Hands down! Not that it is a bad thing, but poor Edward is starting to lose his sanity!
I love Edward's inner monologue. It makes me laugh everytime. I am glad for his sake that the night is here! I love that he wants to make the night so special fo them.
I am glad Charlie gave Edward his seal of approval. Thank God he can't read minds, or poor Bella would be in a chastity belt, and Edward would be in a shallow grave somewhere.
I look forward, as always, to more!

Author's Response: Fireworks...Bonfie...Fireworks...Bonfire... Yup, I'd choose the fireworks too. Is there really a choice here? Nah! I guess I win the award for the longest foreplay, don't I? Edward is rapidly losing his sanity, though. He needs to get some soon. Like in the next chapter. The good thing is, waiting all this time, you know that Edward is going to get some several times over. ;)
Glad to know you love the inner monologue. I love writing that nonsense. I really enjoy Edward's dry sense of humor. Even when he is at his most irritated, he is still funny. I just love a witty boy. I think he is not just in love with Bella, he is in love with being in love. ;)
Charlie was young once too, so he know must what's going on, but at least he is keeping a lid on his dadness. You are right, though. It's a good thing he can't read minds---although he would probably be just as upset to know what's going on in Bella's mind as Edward's. ;) He might just put them both in that shallow grave---but then again, there could be all sorts of hanky panky goping on in that shallow grave. LOL

The agony of the wait......
Actually, this was a good chapter with a real transition in Bella and Jacob's relationship and Charlie's acceptance of Edward. Still loving this story, I've been with you since around chapter 20 I think. Your updates still make my day. Thanks!
Author's Response: At least I won't make you wait too long! E & B are anxious to get started. LOL Glad you liked the chapter. As much as I want to get to the sexy times, I wanted to get some things tied up with a bow...Bella can relax and truly enjoy her relationship with edward because she no longer has to feel guilty about Jake. Jake is happy, Renie is sweet and outgoing--perfoect for him and perfect for developing a friendly relationship with B & E. So now, when B & E are in Forks, they might be able to hang out with Jacob and Renie. And Charlie...he got to know Edward better and he feels like Bella is a little bit safer because she has Edward watching over her.

Author's Response: That "Build Up" in the last chapter was more than just a house build up. But, yes, they accomplished a lot and can feel proud of helping out (and in love with Edward for just participating in an awkward situation). A foundation has also been built for a relationship between Jake/Renesmee and Bella/Edward...so maybe they can continue to be friends when E & B are in town. (?) And the build up of the sexual tension....On with chapter 60!

Sorry for the cliffie. I'm just as evil as James. But the good news is, I'm going to post chapter 60 by next weekend. I found out that it would take about three weeks for the new story to get through validation and be posted, so I don't want to leave you and B & E hanging for three weeks to get to chapter 60. (Not that Edward is actually "hanging" at this point. ;) )

I'm going to post it before the first chapter of the new story because apparently it's going to take about 3 weeks to get the new one through validation. I don't think E & B or any of my readers could wait three weeks for chapter 60 to finally post. So maybe I can get 60 up before next weekend.

Author's Response: Glad you loved the Testosterone Fest. You could cut the he-man-fog in that room with a boxcutter. I think Edward held his own tather well. He managed to tie for second place with the ex-boyfriend, so that's good.
Glad you liked the chapter. I felt like it needed to be examined. And now that Jake is happy, Bella can be really happy. And Edward can be happy knowing that Jake is happy and no longer poses a threat to him. He can also get to know Jake a little more and feel secure with Bella since Jake is so occupied with Renesmee/Nessie/Renie. LOL
