Vera, I am sooo sorry for taking so long to respond. I feel terrible about not responding sooner. So many things have been happening at once! However, I want you to know that I read this message before my exam on Aug 23 and it just meant so much. I was beyond stressed and your words put a smile on my face! Thank you. I was very excited because I passed the exam and have officially completed my degree.

The next chapter will be coming very soon now. It should have been ready by now, but unfortunately, a few weeks ago, I discovered that someone had taken my story and posted it on another site without my permission. I contacted the admins and they removed it promptly; however, I was very upset when it happened and my inspiration to write simply deserted me for a while. But I'm back on board now and am working like crazy to finish the chapter by the end of this week, if all goes well. After that it will have to go through my Twilighted beta, but it should be up soon!!

I hope you are doing well and I'm beyond thrilled that my story has provided a means to escape from your harships. It really touches me. Thank you. Hugs, kisses, and lots of love!

AHHH, I'm sooo sorry! it seems I lied in the author's note about the next chapter coming soon. I totally meant to have the next chapter out by now. I had thought that I could finish it between when I submitted my thesis in July and when I would have to be spending all my time studying for my defence exam (which is now), but it didn't happen that way, I'm afraid. I'm so close yet so far. The chapter is almost done, but my exam is on Aug 23 and I'm just WAY to stressed to work on it right now. But after all that I should be able to get back to this story. I want to thank you a million times over for not giving up on me. I wasn't sure if anyone would even read my author's note and I can't even tell you how much your message means to me. Again, I'm so sorry the update is taking forever, but rest assured that it WILL come.

Vera!!!! You know how much I love you, right? Seriously, I can't even tell you how much it means to me to know you haven't forgetten about me and this story. You help keep me going! I'm soooo sorry I'm taking forever to update. Unfortunately I had to put this story on hold for a bit, mainly because I found it impossible to write while writting my Thesis. BUT, I promise you that the story WILL be finished! I have recently started back working on the next chapter so hopefully it will come soon. I will be finished my Master's by the end of August, which means that from that point onward, updates should come much more quickly! :)

I really liked the chapter. I hope Bella can start to heal emotionally, mentally and physically from everything she has gone through. I hope that Edward and her can become stronger & that Edward won't pull away from her. I'm worried for Charlie ... I really think he and Bella need to talk, but I'm also worried about who had called that first time. Is there more danger? Maybe from the tribe?

I know it's gonna take some time for bella to get back to normal but I just can't wait :)

Excellent.  I didn't even know you had updated until today.  I also just voted for the two categories.  Good luck!  Please look at your graduate work as half way down as in the glass is half full.  August will be here before you know it.  We've had some dark days down here in Birmingham, AL due to all of the storm damage and loss of life.  This is always such a pleasure for me to be able to read the updates.  Thank you for that!  I am not sure how the favorite authors and stories thing works but I did add you this time.  Please don't feel discouraged.  Until next update...hugs!!!!  Vampirefix

Is Charlie having problems with Billy?  Or, are Charlie and Renee doing something?  Don't worry about us readers - we will be here when you get back - just write, write, write like mad on your thesis and finish up.  I like the idea of Renee spending some time with the Cullens but it can't be for very long because she is much to aware for her own good.
