Bella really needs to let Edward know.  I mean, what's the sense of having an immortal bf that can really KICK the shit out of wolfi, if she won't tell or let him? You bet I would tell Edward. I would even tell him to BREAK that DOG!

Keep up the great writing, cause I just love me some some good E/B story. =)

i know this isn't why you wrote this, but it always bothered me that the "team jacob" people never recognize that jacob did force himself on bella when he kissed her when she didn't want him to. it's always really bothered me that people don't take that seriously. that's one step in the direction of sexual assault. people criticize edward for being too controlling, but jacob was the one constantly forcing himself upon her when she said with her own words that she didn't want him like that. nothing like that should ever be condoned, no matter how innocent it seems. trying to "steal a kiss" from someone is not okay if they don't want it.

sorry, that was my little rant.

anyway, great story. i'm interested to see where this goes.

I've never seen Bella as someone who has so little faoth in Edward. He'll know it's not her fault.

It's not really that she doesn't have faith in Edward. She has been through a terrible ordeal and it is typical for the victim to feel like they are worthless and blame themselves for what happened. 

Yikes, I never expected that Bella was going to have to hide the attack from Edward! And she has to go back to Jacob to continue being raped? I'm a little shocked by that turn of events, I'm looking forward to seeing how Bella eventually trusts Edward with the truth and faces the long road of recovery.

Wow...really intense chapter. That was tough to read. But in fairness, you did warn us. :-) And, you are right - that part was needed. I just hurt for Bella. She just cannot keep this to herself. It's going to eat her alive. She has to tell Edward. I'm hoping that Edward obviously knows her well enough to know someting is very wrong, and is estute enough to realize it began the night she went to stay with Jacob. And THANK YOU for not making Bella get pregnant. So many stories tend to do that and it seems very cliche after a while. I'm glad you aren't going to take that route. I am loving this story and can't wait to read the next chapter. Great job writing such a difficult scene. :-)

Yes, I am really not too fond of stories that Bella becomes pregnant from rape. That is why I wanted to mention that. I figured other people might feel the same way. Thanks so much for your kind words. I'm so happy to know that you are enjoying and looking forward to more even though this was not a pleasant chapter. 

It was good chapter. It really shows Bella's determination to enjoy her last visit with her friend before telling him that they should not see each other anymore. I can truly feel the tension building between as she tried to defend Edward and get Jacob to act like her buddy again.

I think she should tell Edward, but then again, he might figure it out...on their wedding night, or the bruises on her body.
