Edward finds out and he gets to murder Jacob with his bare hands!!! TEEHEEHEE!!! LOL, They should change Bella and let her get a piece of his furry ass!!! Anyways this story is awesome.

Hey girly. I know I've already reviewed this chapter, but I saw something today that made me think of you and your story and had to pass it your way.

Have you ever seen the movie, Speak? I saw a preview for it today and thought of you & this story.

Speak is one of my favorite movies. Kristen Stewart (the actress that plays Bella) plays the staring role in it. The movie deals with a lot of the same issues your story does...trusting in the wrong person therefore resulting in getting raped, shutting down and being afraid to tell anyone, and the effects of keeping silent and not speaking out. Way before anyone had ever heard of Twilight, this movie was the one that made Kristen Stewart really stand out to me as an actress. She really does an outstanding job in it.

I thought I'd tell you about it since you are writing a story that confronts the same painful topics that stem from the subject of rape. I know I'm a visual person so, for me, sometimes seeing another version or another's take is really helpful. I figured it couldn't hurt to tell you about it. Maybe seeing it might inspire you with some ideas, or further help you with the direction you're going with this story. And if not, at least it's a great movie :-)

Anyway, the preview I ran across said it comes on tonight (Tuesday, March 23) at 9:00PM on Lifetime. (You know...the channel that always shows reruns of Grey's Anatomy Desperate Housewives, and Reba, ha.)

I hope you get a chance to watch it! :-) And sorry for the crazy long review...lol. (Can you tell I'm procrastinating from doing laundry and figuring out what to cook for dinner? This has helped exponentially.) :-) Ttyl :)

bella is blaming herself and finding herself to be unworthy of someones love- this is one of the major points of you see with many rape victims- she is going to need edward and her friends to get her through this

 

Plus I think eddie ripping jake into small pieces would help

I'm really enjoying your story so far. Thank you for sharing it. I of course would love for Edward to have figured out the truth already and be running off to tear Jacob into unrecognizable pieces, but I think the way your portraying what happened is much more realistic at this point in the story. Bella is frightened and traumatized and confused; all realistic traits of a rape victim. Add to that the fear she has that Jacob may find a way to make his threats a reality, and this chapter makes perfect sense.

Thanks for another awesome -- if frustrating -- chapter.  I so wanted Edward to find out what happened to Bella in this chapter, but at the same time, Jacob threatened everyone she loves, and of course she's going to do her best to keep them safe.  I just really hope it won't be long before Edward knows the truth.  Bella needs his help -- plus she needs to know he's going to love her and want her no matter what Jacob did to her.  She can't begin to heal without him.

Thank you so much for giving us Edward's POV.  If I haven't said so before, I *love* reading from his perspective!  I'm so glad he realizes that something is very wrong -- that it's not minor.  I don't think he could possibly guess what happenened with Jacob, but he knows what she is hiding is bad.  Whenever he finds out, Edward is going to be furious, and I hope Bella won't think his anger is directed at her -- even though she believes she will lose him when he knows the truth.

I am very eager for the next chapter.  Go figure!  :)  And I really hope you post again soon.  Thanks again for this great chapter, and this wonderful story.  :)

Thanks for your review! Yes, I'm trying to be realistic and so that's why he doesn't find out right away. It will be soon though! Bella definitely needs lots of TLC from Edward. 

I'm glad you like Edward's POV. There will be both POVs in every chapter because for this story it is really important to be able to feel what each of them is feeling.

I'm happy you are eager for the next chapter. It makes me want to update faster :) It probably won't be too long for the next update! 

just a little thing - i know you want to portray both sides and both pov's but it does get redundant if you use the same scene for both pov (with the same dialogue) - cause we already know what happens. it's - at least for me -  more exciting to read edward's pov if you would only summarise what you already told us from bella's view. and instead of just retelling everything go a bit further into the story (was that understandable? i'm not quite sure i expressed myself very well...sorry but i don't know how to explain in a better way) of course that's just a suggestion - it's your story so do whatever you like :)

I see what you are saying but the thing is that I want to express what each character is feeling as the dialogue progresses, so I can't really leave out those details from Edward's POV. I feel that it would loose the impact. This story will really focus on what both Bella and Edward are feeling through this very difficult time for them. Thanks for expressing your opinions though. I appreciate it. 

Poor Bella ... really would be better to share the info ... that's gonna be hard though since Bella thinks that will put her family/loved ones in danger.

Good chapter ... very 'in character'.

I can imagine that even if Jacob hadn't threatened her into not telling anyone, that it would still be a horrible thing to have to say outloud.  *shudders*  Poor Bella, I do not envy her the task.
