Such an emotional chapter!!! Poor Bella!! Poor Edward!! This is a very deep story about a love that will stand up to this horrible test and you've written it so beautifully. When I saw the update, I was so excited!! The 2nd update this week!! Woo Hoo!! Thanks for not leaving us hanging too long :) I hope that Bella is able to heal with the help of Edward and Charlie and the rest of the Cullens!!! Again...an amazing chapter, and I can't wait for the next one :)

Great story so far! I just read it all tonight and I love it. It's terrible what Bella had to go through, but I'm so glad that Edward is standing by her and is strong enough to help her go through this. Plus she will have Rosalie and Esme to help her. Can't wait for more!!

i don't like the whole recount everything in different point of views, it's redundant...i usaually just skip the recounting pov.

Author's Response: Well, for this story I just feel it is really important to express how both Bella and Edward are feeling. Also, if you skip a POV you will miss some key points in the story. But of course everyone has their own opinion about it, and you can feel free to read however you'd like. Thanks for reading and reviewing! Glad you still like it anyway.

I love the song by Simple Plan. I think a lot of people cam relate to it at one point or so in their lives. My heart just hurts for Bella. As scary and awful as it must be for the Cullen's and Charlie to see Bella is such a comatose state, I'm kinda glad that she's able to escape to that world in order to allow her mind to process the trauma it's received. I know if I were to go through something so horrendous, I'd want nothing more than a way to escape for a bit to allow myself a chance to breathe. (Just please bring her back!! I'd be very sad to have a Bella-less story) :) :) This story is fantastic, as usual! I can't wait for your next update. Talk to you soon! :) :)

Yes, is is good for her in a way to escape for a while. But don't worry, she will be back from her metal lock-down in the next chapter. I didn't want to keep that going for very long. If you notice she already just 'wakes up' right at the end of this chapter. Next chapter will be lots of Bella and Edward bonding :)

I was so worried about how close Jacob was going to get to harming Bella before the Cullens would get to her. I cheered when Edward got to her and took her to safety. I am sad that Jacob got away, but glad that Sam has taken over the Pack so Jake can't use them to wage war on the Cullens.
While it was natural that Edward would blame himself for not protecting Bella, I was happy that he did not bottle it up where it would do more harm and that his family reassured him that there was nothing he could have done to prevent this from happening.
I love how Charlie as dad blew past each of the Cullen on his way to see his daughter and insisted on seeing her before he was told what happened. Esme's staunch defense of her son when Charlie questioned his involvement was outstanding. I love how she flipped the script on Charlie calling on him to see how much Edward loves Bella and imploring him to take a better look at his darling Jacob. Go Mama Bear! Support your cub, baby! I love that after some thought Charlie saw the signs that they were telling the truth and began to help. It was terrific to watch Charlie and Edward bond over the love they both share for Bella.
Thanks for another great chapter! I think this was my favorite so far.

I am very glad that Edward put all the clues together to figure out what happened to Bella. I just could not believe he left her side when he could have called his family to achieve his split purpose of making sure she was safe and getting revenge on the mutt. I am so scared for Bella that she is alone with Jake again and wonder if he heard Edward's conversation with her and stepped up his plan.

This can't be the end! I want to see Jacob get what he deserves. I also want to see Bella and Edward have a happy reunion. I like the idea of the song lyrics but they are a bit distracting from the story. A song it meant to be heard.
Author's Response: Oh, don't worry. This certainly isn't the end of the story. There's lots more to come! You will see the Edward and Bella reunion in the next chapter. Yes, I know that the lyrics can be distracting. That's why I'm now just placing them in the end note of the chapter with the link to listen to the song. I love this story - it made me cry! Grr, if I ever got my hands on Jacob, I would do very bad things to him! I hope once Bella comes around that she talks to Rosalie, since she went through the same thing.

Heartbreaking chapter. I was very glad to read that Edward stayed rather than try to run off after Jacob. I'd like to see Jacob pay for what he did of course, but leaving Bella in that state would have been much worse.
Wonderful writing as usual. You're really progressing the story well. I'm looking forward to seeing what will happen to Jacob and how Bella and Edward will heal from all of this.
