Words are kinda inadequate here.

Bella's pain is so raw and deeply engrained in her - I feel angrier with Jacob every time I read this.

Edward is trying so hard to keep it together for her, but the anger is difficult to push aside.

He is wonderful with her, making her feel that she is still beautiful and still the person he loves.

The exam is going to be tough, but I'm glad she has decided to have Edward with her.

I look forward to Esme and Rosalie helping her to come to terms with it all in future chapters.

Yes, poor Bella is going through a really horrible thing. Lol, yes and imagine how angry at Jacob Edward must feel. Very true what you say about Edward--it is also so very difficult on him as well. I'm glad it is coming across in the right way. The exam is going to be very tough. But she is lucky that she has Edward to help her through everything. Thank you so much for your review! wow--this was a great chapter, & so important

we all go thru this rock-bottom, & feel there is no way out; that no one will want us. we're "ruined" "stained" "damaged goods" "filthy" or that we asked for this somehow--that its our fault. we blame ourselves when all the blame belongs on the bastard that did this to us.

and there is no clean...at 1st. no amount of scrubbing with bleach or a brillo pad can ever make u feel clean. it's all mental, but you can't scrub there

It is a very sensitive subject and I really hoped that it could help victims as oppose to offending. I do write from some experience and it is very true what you say--most often it takes a lot of time to heal and not feel 'ruined' and blame yourself. Thanks again for your review.

I love the way your are handling this. Edward's love for Bella is so complete and she sees that, finding comfort and strength in it. As hard as it will be, she needs to get to the hospital and get it over with. One step at a time.

OMG...the emotions in the chapter!!! Poor Bella!! I am so glad that Edward is so gentle with her...not that I would expect anything less from him lol. I am still waiting to see Billy's take on things, but I am trying desperately to be patient..lol. You update so regularly and I literally squealed when I saw your story today :) Keep them coming!!!!

okay. i have to say it. this is kind of bugging me. why didn't Alice see Bella crying in the shower at the very least? bella returning home AFTER? i don't get that part,

Ah, well, if you remember from chapter 5, Alice is currently having problems 'seeing' Bella. And don't worry you will find out the reason for this in a later chapter (It is not because she's pregnant--she is NOT pregnant). Hope that clears things up for you, and I hope you enjoy the rest. You are doing such a wonderful job and handling a very sensitve subject with much sympathy, tact and grace.  I look forward to the next chapter and seeing how the Cullens rally around Bella.  They all love her so very much and I know that Edward and his family will see her through this

This is a very emotional story and although I have never been assaulted as Bella was, it seems to be a very good representation of what a victim would go through.  I am glad that you are not going to rush Bella through her recovery because I am sure that would be impossible for a victim.
