I love how you are painting Bella and Edward's relationship. You've totally pinned Edward's loving, protective nature. Not to mention Bella's insecurities...and how Edward can calm her with one touch or one word. I just love this story more and more with every chapter!! :-) And what was Charlie thinking allowing that Cheryl woman to be the officer to talk to Bella? Could she have MADE Bella more uncomfortable? I have a slight addiction to Law and Order SVU, and I kept thinking over & over that Olivia Benson & Elliot Stabler would have conducted that interview SO much better! ;-) Poor Bella...it sounds like she still has a long and hard road ahead of her. I'm so glad you like the E/B relationship. We definitely get to see a lot of Edward's protective side in this chapter. 

Lol. Very true. Unfortunately, Charlie didn't have much to choose from (small town cops), and he sent Cheryl since she was a female. Poor Cheryl was trying to do her job, but she doesn't have much experience with dealing with people like Bella and so she didn't really do a good job. lol, I have only seen a few episodes of Law and Order SVU, but I'm sure you're right about that. Yes, Bella certainly does have a long and difficult road ahead, but at least she has Edward :)

The next chapter is a LONG and intense one :) It should come soon.

Great chapter! I hope Bella can realize that what happened is not her fault and that she can pull through this. I hope Jacob in some way has to pay for what he did. I know he may not be able to go to prison, but he deserves some kind of punishment. Can't wait for more!!

I like that Bella is trying to fight for herself and trust in Edward more. I am glad that she was able to tell the police officer that Jacob raped her, but watching her struggle to answer her questions was very hard. I look forward to watching Bella get through her examination.

Wow! What a powerful chapter! That scene of Edward finding Bella cowering in that cold shower clutching the washcloth was amazing. I am glad that you provided that in both POVs. I also liked that Edward got to release his aggravation with Carlisle, Rosalie and Emmett and that they could give him context for understanding Bella's fears. It was also good that we heard that the Pack thought Jacob will return because he is obsessed with Bella.

I am glad that Esme and Rosalie will play a role in Bella's healing since they are survivors of abuse and rape. I am looking forward to Charlie and Billy's take on what Jacob has done. Congrats on your noms! I have voted for you at the Total Eclipse of the Heart awards. Good luck!

Poor Bella...I understand why they thought that Edward was controlling her, but to have the one person she loves more than life questioned must have been hell for her!!! I hope she gets stronger knowing that Charlie, Edward and the CUllens and her family will be there for her no matter what. She'll be going through therapy as well...(at least I am assuming...but you know what assuming does..lol)

I have to say that even though people are mentioning that they don't like that you put both POV's in the chapters...I am greatly enjoying it. I like knowing what both of them think. This is such a sensitive and harsh subject...knowing what each of them think is actually a great way to go.

I can NOT wait for the next update. I am anxious to know what is gonna happen to Jacob and what the rest of the pack is thinking and doing. Keep up the great writing!!!!
