This was such a great chapter. I loved her interaction with Charlie. It almost made me cry when you did his point of view - to see how helpless he felt as a father who couldn't protect his daughter. Gah that was heart-breaking! And I love the bracelet! That was so sweet...I need to get me an Edward. Pronto. BTW, I had no idea you were a chemical engineering graduate student. That sounds seriously hard. I'm in grad school as well to get my masters in speech pathology. I can emphasize with the work load. Except for some reason, chemical engineering sounds harder, haha. I really hope you plan on continuing this story because I've fallen in love with it! Your updates always make my day :-) So update soon if you can! Good luck at your research conference. Yeah, chem eng can get busy at times, but I actually find grad school much less stressful than my undergrad, which was brutal. I had no social life, lol. And I wouldn't of had time to write, either. Being a research Grad student is nicer. Of course it can still get busy, too. That's neat that you're in speech pathology. My sister is in a similar field and I can imagine that you certainly know about busy times, too.

im worried that jake is going to do something really stupid! and get himself or soemone else killed! i do hope that he does get punished for his crimes! and that bella is able to get help. of course when someone says what could go wrong? thats usually when something goes really wrong!

Nice chapter! It's good that Charlie and Bella talked a little. Let's hope Charlie can forgive Billy. It's really good that Edward realises Bella is not afraid of him, but she still can't forget. You showed that really good with Edward just gently grapping her wrist (i found that the best part of the chapter) and Bella starting to panic. Let's hope she opens up to him fast, that wil make things easyer for both. It's true Edward needs to get hunting and also loose some anger, but i'm so afraid of what wil happen...

I absolutely LOVE your story! Really!!!!!! I check for updates every day. Your writing is so good. Please, keep up the good work. I really hope we can convince you NOT TO STOP.

Thank you! Yes, Bella needed to get things out in the open with Charlie. Yeah, poor Bella is okay for a bit, but then something just triggers her to panic. She will be opening up to Edward more soon--sometime within the next two chapters. Very true--Edward has been suppressing his anger for too long. As for what will happen when he leaves, you will have to wait and see. But at least she is being protected by Alice, Rose and Esme.

When I try to think how Bella will ever be able to let Edward hold her intimately, I come up with nothing! The way you ended this chapter, has me holding my breath for the next one! Yes, it is going to take lots of time and TLC from Edward before she will be able to be intimate. It's not going to be easy for her to get through everything.
