great chapter, very intense. I love the way Edward protected Bella. But I can't wait to see what happens now that James has been added to the mix. Especially since he has a past with Edward.

i was waiting on it...i knew james wasnt going to let edward leave the rink without having his say. what an idiot! i hope james gets whats coming to him. i wonder what caused them to be such aggressive rivals? i guess i'll find out what they say about hockey players next update cause ihave never heard that saying but then again this is the most i've had to do with hockey lol kudos on the chapter....

I felt so so bad for Bella and Edward in this chapter, Lucard deserved to have the bejeezus beat out of him for speaking so disgustingly to Bella and poor Edward wanted tod do this, Cannot wait to see if Bella runs into the idiot on her own.

Protectiveward is HOT, then I haven't seen one of Edward's personalities that isn't. Can't wait to see what Alice is talking about, sadly I know little about hockey players. Oh and James...I don't think that's the last we see of him. Another good one. ;)

Poor Edward. He had to be scared to death with Bella right there. BTW- thanks for the back info last chapter. It helped me to understand Edward better. Is this fued with James somehow girl related??? Hmmmm.
Lobsters4ever recommended this fic to me- we are friends. We actually had a half hour conversation this afternoon about Edward's sexual history ;o)
I love this story. I truly hope you write this all from Edward's POV, I would LOVE that!!!

I think it's amazing and way cool that you guys had a convo about the boy - thanks so much and feel free to ask me anything, vent, yell, hug - whatever! I have a ball discussing the story and characterizations.
There is some EPOV in my computer - I just have to decide what to do with it. Not sure if it's enough for an entire story, or just outtakes...but we'll see!

Okay, first and foremost, Edward needs to tell Bella the entire story about James before this goes much further! Keeping this from her is not going to make it better or make it go away!
Something really, really bad happened between James and Edward and Edward needs to speak about it quickly! I sure hope this wasn't about another woman in Edwards past. Even though we know that he only slept with the two before Bella, if this has to do with a woman then it needs to come from Edward and not from James (if he happens to run into Bella)!
The word James used to call Bella is like the worst word ever to call a woman and that really makes him a bad bad guy to me!
Again, my thoughts are all over the place with regards to your teaser! Can't wait for Saturday!
Author's Response: Yeah, James used that word (don't know why, but it always makes me cringe, too!) because it was the easiest and quicket way to get Edward enraged - and it worked! Good thing Edward would never risk Bella's safety and got her out of there. We'll all learn more about the history between the two soon. Thanks!

I have to confess that I have a HUGE weakness for EPOV. I always love his POV and can't get enough. The problem is now that you have given me a glimpse into his head -- I want more! I want to know what he thought whe he first saw her, when did he first see her, what he was thinking/feeling the first day in bio, did he sniff her hair, why and what did he think, what was he thinking when she touched his thigh, how he felt when she said no to the dance, the repeated cockblocking kisses, what he thought/felt about their first kiss, I want to hear about ALL his fantasies and I so want that moment - when he picked her up for their first date when he "fell over my heart at the sight of you" -- gah!
You have just unleashed the greedy fangirl inside -- sorry. ;)

I am glad that Bella talked with him about his past and specifically - with Carole. I do think that this convo should have happened before Bella came face to face with her. I thought that Bella handled it very, very well. She was jealous but didn't let that rule her.
Initially, I was rather eek'd out by Edward sharing his past with Bella. But then I realized that he is a high school aged guy. He acted like one. Again, I thought Bella handled it very well. I actually loved that she understands him so well that she 'got' why he needed try with another girl.
Bella was incredible with Tanya and how she handled her and for her reward -- hot sex with Edward. Niiccceeee! ;)
Author's Response: Well, he didn't have any idea Carole would be there, so it would never occur to him to say anything...Gah, how would you start that convo...? It was before he started crushing on Bella, and Carole wasn't just a random girl. He was a sixteen year old hockey player...and no experience does not a sexual god make... ;0
