I'm glad Edward rejoins us next chapter...my thing with this chapter though is that most ICU's will let underage children over the age of 16 visit patients as long as they are acompanied by an adult. That was the case when my cousin was there and we went to visit him. We didn't have any problems with any of the others seeing him, except the youngest who is ten and couldn't go see him until they moved him to a regular room. That's just my expereince though. Most hospitals will do alot to acomidate the family's needs if they ask.
Author's Response: The past couple of times I've had to spend time visitng in ICU the age was eighteen (it has been a little while since the last time - thank goodness), so I think it probably varies from hospital to hospital, although they are all really wonderful about working with you for whatever circumstances you have.

ok, i didn't breathe a full sigh of relief until i read the chapter note. i was on pins and needles, happy that the swelling was going down, fearfull that during each visit something else would happen when she was updated. thank goodness he's going to wake up!! i am sad that bella's having nightmares, but that's completely understandable--hell she's handling it better than i think i would have in the same situation. keep them strong...

That was sweet, but I imagened it would be more akward for Bella visiting Edward with his parents there.
It's really nice to read about Bella and Charlie being close though - in most stories they're distant, and they're not all too close in this one either.

I always loved Charlie....He's a bit awkward and socially challenged but is really good at heart...

I love this story and hockey playing Edward... mhhh very nice.
I'm leaving a guess what will happen next, just for the heck of it.
He will lose his memory. Personally I don't want that to happen, I love this Edward/Bella couple, they are fun.

Bella getting better. She was actually released from the hospital. She got to see Edward before she left and was able to visit him the following day. He is still in his medicated coma, but swelling going down all the time. His vitals are improving hopefully soon will be off the medication and able to awake. worried about Edward's pain level when he is awake. It's going to take a long time for Edward to heal. He had some extensive injuries. Bella is still dealing with her broken leg. Her girlfriends are wonderful coming over her first day home. Even with Edward in a coma it was great and supportive of the entire hockey team and their parents going to the hospital knowing they wouldn't see Edward. Bella isn't dealing with her issues from the incident. Her concern is all for Edward, but when she sleeps her fears come through her nightmares. Charlie was cool for mentioning if she needed to talk to a professional or him just ask. Charlie is really concerned for Bella's state of mind due to the trauma.

i'm so happy he'll be awake next chapter. i think Bella will be very overprotective of him now. (He's not gonna wake up and not remember her....right???) I don't know if he'll be upset with her for putting herself in harms way by jumping to his defense or proud and awed that she went after James the way she did.

Thanks for updating so regularly. It is hard to keep up with stories, no matter how captivating a story is, when the authors have long lag times between chapters. This is a very captivating story and I can not wait for thier reunion. I miss EPOV. Thanks again
