Edward concerns and fears of losing Bella if he is gone too long.  He had just gotten orders he was leaving in 2 weeks for 4 months.  He knew he had to tell her, but afraid she would feel too much effort to wait for him.  He had arranged to cook her a wonderful meal.  As they were having dinner he knew the sooner he told her the better.  Bella was unhappy, but very willing to wait for him.  Just going to be a long long time until they could see each other again.  Their two weeks together passed quickly.  Edward's last night he cooked an extraordinary dinner for them.  They spend quiet time lying together on the couch watching TV.  They went to bed and made slow gentle love together before dosing off.  Edward woke up later and needed to claim her.  To let her know he doesn't want to leave, he wants to remain with her. Their firery love making bringing them both to higher and better heights together.  Just loving each other to last them until the time passes when they can be together again.

Ah this was hard to read after the last chapter. Him thinking he wouldn't leave her if he didn't have to, knowing that later he'll chose active duty, chose to leave her. Beautifully written, but that part sticks with me.

wow that was a deep chapter im sad that hes leaving again but hopefuly she wont go off the deep end again! cant wait til lthe next chapter

I just started reading this story... last night, and I had to stay up to finish it! That should tell you how much I love it. You're an excellent writer - this is so interesting! Your writing is so real, too; you can tell that it's sincere, and I like how you accurately depict the problems real couples go through. That makes it more real. =)

OH! Noooo. Fix it please?

Bella and Alice are roommates in San Diego.  Spending time together they meet two Navy Seals.  Jasper and Edward begin to spend time with the girls.  Within 2 weeks both men were gone to sea.  Going to be gone overseas for 6 months.  Very hard for both girls and the guys.  I can relate my dad was in the Navy also, he was gone 9-10 months out of the year.  Only home a couple months with weekend deployments throughout the two months home.  Upon return Edward and Bella along with Alice and Jasper get even closer.  Time flies again before another deployment comes upon the couples for another 4 months separation.  Each time being apart is getting harder.  Jasper while gone tells Edward he's going to propose to Alice for her hand in marriage.  Edward realizes he cares for Bella and doesn't want to ever be apart from her.  while they are on their training mission an accident occurs.  The helicopter has problems killing the pilots and injuring others including Edward.  Bella receives the dreaded phone call from the Navy telling her Edward is injured and in the hospital.  Undergoing surgery for his spleen and internal bleeding.  Arrangements were made with the Navy to fly Bella to Hawaii to join Edward at the hospital there.  Edward referred Bella to the doctor as his fiancee.  So when Bella arrived in hospital in Hawaii she was asked if she was his fiancee and she said yes.  Bella spent the time in Hawaii at the hospital being with Edward.  When Edward is released they return to San Diego and Bella takes a leave of absence from work to take care of Edward.  His physical wounds heal quickly but the mental strain remains.  His nightmares of the crash, grief for the men that were lost, his undecision of whether he will remain on active duty, or proceed to other work fields. Edward needs to decide, but concerned he has lost his edge of being a Seal.  Will he be able to continue with his chosen field or will the stress be too much for him.  Edward is seeking help with a therapist to express his feelings, fears, indecisions, and insecurities.  Edward is always concerned about Bella leaving him because she considers she thinks he is weak.  Bella knows Edward is hurting with the nightmares and doubts, but he won't open up to her.  Eventually the two of them go to relationship counseling trying to deal with their communication problems.  Once Jasper and Emmett return from the training mission.  Jasper proposes to Alice at the zoo.  Very unique location.  Edward asked Bella to move in with him since she has been over at his place most of the time taking care of him and spending all her free time with him.  Bella agrees with the statement will live with him as long as they are making plans to progress towards marriage.  Alice has planned to be married on New Year's Eve.  Edward, Bella, Jasper, Alice, Emmett,and Rosalie all take a vacation to Hawaii.  All the times Edward had sent Bella emails regarding taking her to a tropical island for a vacation.  The six of them go together.  Separate rooms, lots of spending time on the beach, eating and drinking with friends.  Spending quality alone time with each other.  ON one of their nights in Hawaii the six go to dinner.  After the dinner Edward and Bella go walking on the boardwalk alone while the others return to the hotel.  Edward takes Bella to the beach and proposes to Bella.  He was really attempting to open up to her with his feelings.  Bella said yes.  She likes the sound of Bella Cullen.  Edward said he needs to talk with Bella about something important.  Bella concerned he changed his mind about marrying her. What he reveals concerns going back to active duty.  Quite a surprise to Bella when he tells her.  It will be hard on both of them especially when he is deployed away for months at a time.  I have to say I cried with Bella with the phone call of Edward being injured and in the hospital.  Excited for Alice and Jasper getting married. Finally Edward asking Bella to marry him very happy.  Bella won't like Edward going back to active duty for sure.  Edward has to be true to himself and do what he feels is right.  Interesting to see what plans Edward and Bella will make regarding their wedding.
