I so loved this that I just had to review (1st time ever). I think you really managed to capture Edward's 'voice'. His method of prepartion seems very in keeping with his character and his enlisting of Jasper's help seems realistic. My only quibble would be it seems slightly farfetched that Edward would never have given himself a DIY job in more than 90 years as a vampire. As he himself admitted, he is a man. Nevertheless, absolutely adore this piece and can't wait for the next chapters so keep writing.

I went back and forth with Edward's history on this and came down on the side that he would not have given himself a DIY. My reasoning was two fold. First, and most importantly imo, was that he grew up in a very sexually respressed time. He would have been taught that only those of a lower class would do something so vaulger as to touch themselves in that way. Second, was that, before Bella, Edward was a very sad and self hating person. He did not view himself as being worthy of any happiness or even the average pleasures of humanity and took part in very few, none of which would have contridicted his upbringing.

You write so... realistic. Every other story I have read all concludes in Edward losing control and doing something they wouldn't be doing before there wedding. You're really getting the struggle for Edward, the familys response to everything, Bellas control.

And I must say I feel a little embarrased for Edward. To control emotions and feeling things with his brother present! Wow. Just wow. I cant imagine that. No wonder Bella is a little startled.

I'm really looking forward to the wedding in Edwards point of view. I would very much like to maybe see Esme and Carlisle talk to Edward just before the wedding; I always pictured it like that. I think he's a son to them, more than the other Cullens. Their first son. I think it's adorable. Edward is adorable. Esme and Carlisle loves him unconditionally.

I had read so many fics where Edward and Bella just did things that I knew SM never intended them to do before the wedding. I wanted to give a realistic account of what their pre-wedding weeks were like from Edward's view. I'm so happy to hear that it has lived up to your expectations. :)

I adored the emotional content of this chapter soo much!  Their meeting with the pastor. their diner, and then the conversations with family, made this my favorite chapter in the last long while. (Shocking I know, since I'm such a consumate horndog, normally!)  ;D

Amazing chapter! I loved the conversation with Rev Weber, especially when Bella defended their love! 

Gosh, Renee is really something..I woul've died of embarrassment if my mother did the same!! poor Bella! ;)

Loved the end..I'm so glad Charlie has finally accepted Edward (their conversation was really needed)

Loved the update - Renee is just so........... blunt.  No fancy decoration there!

The Reverened Webber chat was also very entertaining!  I liked the way Bella blurted out that she wasn't pregnant - but it was also a little heartbreaking when the subject of children was brought up (if only they knew hey!).
