I liked that you addressed her monthly cycle. People always seem to ask about that at the conventions, and have asked Stephenie about it also. I thought you handled it well. I also liked the way you handled the male bonding on the Cullen hunting trip. I am enjoying your story.
Author's Response: It is one of those topics that most tend to steer away from. I thought it was something that needed to be addressed here for two reasons. 1) He's a vampire and it would just make logical sense. And 2) because of the referrence in BD when she realizes that she's pregnant.

This chapter is as eloquently written as all your others. You truly captured the overwhelming romance of the day for Bella and Edward. I thought you did an especially good job with the scene where Tanya and the rest of the Alaskan coven meet Bella. Of course Tanya's reaction was spot on, but I enjoyed that you mentioned Kate, Carmen and Eleazar's curiosity as well.
The scene with Jake was perfect! Very well done! You didn't dwell on every thought that Jake was having. Edward tried and apparently suceeded at giving them some privacy.
The entire chapter flowed smoothly, and as with much of your writing, I found myself suprised that it was at the end, as it was so natural for it to just continue. You're a terrific storyteller. I look forward to the next chapter. I will be a little sad to see it come to an end. It's been a remarkable journey. Thank you! -LCS-

well, the wedding is done, enjoyed the way you brought some of the things from the book into the wedding in, and the price that Bella pays for leaving her life as a wife of a vamp.... looking forward to the next! ;)

Thank you for giving us E&B’s wedding through the eyes of a passionate, romantic, protective, and needful Edward. Your EPOV take of their wedding is the most beautiful one I’ve read yet. And I’ve read many. So many.
What makes yours outshine the others is the gentle humility with which you write our Edward. He is every bit as innocent and nervous about his physical relationship with Bella as she is. In fact, Edward is more so in that he lacks Bella’s confidence and faith in himself.
That he wants and needs his Bella just as much as she needs him is wonderful proof of their inevitability and epic love.
I have read their wedding ceremony from so many points of view, including Bella herself in BD. But it was here, in your PERSPECTIVE, that I was moved to tears, affected by Edward’s consuming love for his Bella.
“Edward?” Reverend Webber said, drawing my attention back to him.
When he was sure I was listening he continued. “Edward, do you take Isabella, to be your wife.”
Her eyes filled with fresh tears as the minister went on. “To have and to hold from this day forward.”
I tried to convey to her with my eyes just how seriously I took those words. Every single one.
“For better or for worse.”
Those words meant more to us than any other couple in history.
“For richer, for poorer.”
She would never want for any material thing again. Whatever she wished, it would be hers.
“In sickness and in health.”
I would love her however she would have me.
“To love and to cherish.”
My only love. My mate.
“For as long as you both shall live.”
Forever.
“I do,” I answered.
Truly the most romantic and moving rendition of the ceremony I have ever read.
Again, thank you so much for this. In fact, thank you for it ALL.

Why indeed? It's very sad. But I guess that Bella starts understanding her appeal when she turns into Superbella Vampire? Too bad we didn't get to know her very well as a more confident individual.

I loved it-it was very true to canon with your own flavor added in! It must be hard switching back and forth between canon Edward and Domward! I'm looking forward to seeing how all of their preparations pan out for Edward in his head!

Your version of the wedding was great, I love that Edward took note of her scent when removing her garter.
I was interested in knowing more of Jacob's thoughts, but I assume he wasn't forming a any coherent ones.
