The concert will be quite a few chapters down the line. We a have to get through the week first and a lot will happen between now and then.

Another great chapter!  I like this part the best--

 It was still amazing to me how this girl…this woman…was able to make me feel like a teenage boy again. I knew she was watching me and I closed my eyes trying to hide my expression but I wasn’t fast enough. My love leaned her forehead against mine and whispered softly, “I love you,” she took a deep breath, “the fact that you find me physically attractive is amazing, yes.” My eyes opened at this and stared straight into hers. “But knowing that I affect you the way you affect me…” she sighed. “I just can’t explain how happy that makes me, Edward.”

 

Looking forward to the concert chapter and the hotel!  P.S.  I really like the last chapter, but I do remember the first time I read a fic that dealt with the issue of Bella's period, I was a little put off.  I can understand why some people weren't happy, but I thought you did a really good job with it, and in a tasteful way (as opposed to some others I'm thinking of).

Thanks. Yea that was one of my favorite parts of the chapter as well.

I'm quite looking forward to writing that chapter or chapters I should say. :) I have to say most ppl were fine with it but there were the handful that didn't understand why I felt it was a needed this issue to be dealt with. I did want it to be realistic and I felt it was but still pushed their boundries which is what this is about. I've read those ones you are talking about and yes they are VERY different from what happened last chapter.

I thought the way you handled Bella's monthly bleeding was quite tasteful (no pun intended).  Not blatantly stating every little thing makes the story better :)

What an interesting way for Bella and Edward to practice.  It makes total sense.

Thanks Eoin. The only other fics I've come across that have dealth with Bella's period were very detailed and something cannon Edward would never do.

The next chapter is awaiting validation so hopefully it will be up soon. :)

It's true.. I've never before wasted a thought about their honeymoon and Bella being deflowered (and the blood).

I guess SM didnt bring it up (the blood, I mean), because since new moon it doesnt really appeal to Edward as it did before.Still, I think that in a passionate moment like that (the two of them having sex for the first time) Bella's blood might be dangerous for him. He is in such a frenzy (emotionally) that he might underestimate the presence of bella's blood (in the books).

So I like that you bring it up here. very authentic, I'd say. excited for more!

I don't know why SM didn't bring the subject up unless she didn't feel she could do the subject justice given her audience but to me that doesn't make sense either. There is so much Edward must have done to prepare himself for their night together that we never got to experience with the time jump between Eclipes and BD.

I've just finished reading all 15 chapters in one sitting and I have to say, very nicely done!  I really like the pace that this story is taking-not too slow and you're taking the time to let us see what Edward is thinking as he's dealig with conflicting emotions and desires and this is very good.  Great character and story development and I can't wait to see how the next three weeks evolve!   Can't wait for the next chapter!

very well done. as a woman I had always wondered how the sent of menstrual fluids would affect a vampire. You did this with a lot of sensitivity to the issue. Steph. did mention Bella's cycle once in BD, though not 'graphically'.

 

Anyway, looking forward to more of this.

Thanks. Yes the subject wasn't really mentioned in any detail during the Twilight saga and given the fact that it does involve blood one would have thought it would have at least deserved a full converstaion/explaination but alas no.

i loved the beginning chapters but did you really have to bring up the period blood part that was gross

Yes I did. Blood is a very real issue for them. It needed to be addressed and this was the perfect oppertunity.
