Thank you so much for the welcome back, and for wanting to read it still! I really appreciate it!

Look for an update really soon. =)

These chapters are always so incredible that they are worth the wait....but this cliffie was brutally evil!   Soon good.

Author's Response:

Aww, thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it...though it really was a doozy of a wait this time. Sorry about that.

I know I left you with a cliffie, but if i promise to update, oh, I don't know...sometime next week... will that make it better? I think everyone will like it. Hopefully I live up to the suspense.

Thanks again!

I'm sorry life has been so difficult for you this past year, hope it's better now. This has been a story I have so enjoyed reading, though it drives me crazy at the same time! This last chapter is scary as hell, are you sure there's a happy ending in here somewhere? Doesn't look too promising, with the wolves intent on destoying all the Cullens. How are they going to escape this? I'll wait breathlessly for your update!

Author's Response:

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! for both reading and reviewing so much. I am in awe and am just so grateful that you took the time to let me know your feelings on the chapters. I was impressed with the fact that you picked up on some of the more subtle details of the chapters. Everything was insightful, and it's fun for me to see it through someone elses eyes again.

I can appreciate the fact that there are so many like you that are frustrated with these two! Big dumbies! I totally want them to hook up, too, and it is definitely in the cards. But as I see it, in those six months, Bella lived this whole other life without him, and Edward has a lifetime of regret and a butt-ton of insecurities to catch up to. Also, i like STRONG Bella, and she is, but she's also just a girl with normal girl-insecurities, too. But they'll get it, soon enough, because they are going to have to grow up. Really fast, in fact.

This last chapter had so many reviewers saying how worried they were, but I PROMISE, it doesn't end here. This is an essential stepping stone-definitely a need for later on.  I'm not saying that it's ALWAYS going to be pretty, but those two have a lot more to do before I close it up.

But thank you again, for your words of encouragement and great insight into the chapters. I can't tell you how much it means!

Not very happy that the Quileutes showed up on the Cullen's doorstep. This could be a problem for everybody. I am, however, in awe of Bella's speech to Rosalie and the rest. The run back to where she 'died' was a sad moment. Boy, could these two use some love right now, or what?

Reviewer: k1942 (Signed) · Date: March 08, 2012 02:13 AM · On: Chapter 12: As Always, Unexpected

I was starting to be mildly encouraged by the two of them getting back to holding hands, at least. Seriously, I was hoping that things might be back to normal for Bella and Edward. Being in the meadow again was good for them, but now, I'm scared. Why has Esme sent this message, what is the threat?

Reviewer: k1942 (Signed) · Date: March 08, 2012 01:38 AM · On: Chapter 11: Crossed Wires, Shorted-out Needs

When are these two going to open up and communicate with each other? I could just weep at how they keep hurting each other, unintentionally and needlessly.

That day in the meadow was nearly perfect, right up until Alice called. Damn! Fate must hate Edward, no wonder he is so depressed. The if only's are killing me! The frustration is bugging the hell out of me. Poor blind Edward, now he knows and still he doesn't know!

she just had to stay for a letter for Charlie. See How Jacob turned on her. Kill them all. wonderful.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and review the chapters. I am humbled when I get so many back-to-back reviews from the same person. I really appreciate it because I know it means you are taking the time to give feedback. So thanks!

Your comments made me chuckle, because i can definitely relate to some of the frustration. Just because they are immortals with expansive minds doesn't mean thier always going to be smart. And even though I know what is going to happen in the story, I still want them to wake up an smell the coffee. I love writing a strong, united couple, but I would be lying if I said I didn't kinda dig the angst too. Hang in there. The lightbulb will turn on soon.

Anywho, I hope this next chapter surprises everyone. I look forward to hearing what you have to say! Thanks again!

Bella and Edward need to leave there for a while. To get away from the wolves and to be alone together. She makes him better. Bless the whole speach she gave to Rose.  It is so true.. you did good!

uninvited guests must be Charlie.

I can't believe that Edward could explain the mate bond without realizing how it now applies to him and Bella. Talk about a blockhead! The reading session and going through the albums were good for them being together but still haven't kick-started Edward's brain, Good lord, man, get a clue!

words and more words and he has yet to tell her and now I think he wont.  Will Tanya make an effort to grab him. Because if you ask me she took the wind out of Bella's sails. She is intimidated and then of course there is the secret.

You call yourself a geek, but I think reasearch is such great foundation for stories. It's bones you put flesh and skin on to build people to inhabit the world you imagine into life. I think Carlisle is disappointed that Edward can't, or won't, see what's right in front of him. I'm sure Alice knows, and probably Jasper, maybe even Esme. He may be the only one who's unaware of his true feelings, and Bella's.

Egads all these words and he drags on..........I mean she is a vampire and getting a darn complex. Wait until the Beautiful Tanya rolls in and sets on Edwards lap and starts smooching.. Bella is here and that is it.

Her secret?  I think something has happened to her and her father desperately wanted her to socialize with kids and forget whatever has hurt her in the past.

Reviewer: MaryMaryMary (Signed) · Date: March 07, 2012 08:57 PM · On: Chapter 5: Burning Questions

Time.  IT will take time. She wakes up remembering what Edward told her during her change. The wolves won't they see her in the woods??

Reviewer: MaryMaryMary (Signed) · Date: March 07, 2012 08:38 PM · On: Chapter 4: No...

I mean really folks , it was change her or let her die.  Did they all want him to let her die??

Rose had Carlisle save Emmett, so how is this different?  Oh it is because of who wanted it.

Perhaps Edward, Jasper and Alice should leave for a while with Bella  Then as she gets better Jasper and Alice come back.

Reviewer: MaryMaryMary (Signed) · Date: March 07, 2012 07:57 PM · On: Chapter 2: The Beast, Without

Well he didn't just suck out all her blood and let her die. Well that is called a very short story.

Bella sure has impressed the Cullens, even Rose and Jasper. I do, however, want badly to paint CLULESS right across Edward's forehead! He just doesn't get it, does he?

Reviewer: k1942 (Signed) · Date: March 07, 2012 05:55 PM · On: Chapter 6: Falling Slowly

Your husband is correct, the hunt was a sensual thing, the way you described it. Edward was pretty taken with the  way Bella did it, especially her grace and perfection . Several times I thought they both wanted to say something and didn't. Too bad, communication is going to be key here, I can tell. Shame on Edward, in fact, for telling Bella he didn't know if he was still alone. He knows damn good and well he is hers now.

Reviewer: snowgood (Signed) · Date: March 07, 2012 05:26 PM · On: Chapter 14: The Importance of a Timely Exit

That was quite the cliffhanger!  I can't wait to see what happens now!  Chief Swan wandering around the woods right now would be good!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for the review!

Sorry for the cliffhanger right back out of the gate. That was probably kind of naughty of me. I think it will be worth it though.

OMG! Poor Charlie, wandering right into a vampire/werewolf fight. That might stall them... maybe!

Thanks again for the review and for wanting to read after all this time.

Reviewer: k1942 (Signed) · Date: March 07, 2012 05:18 PM · On: Chapter 5: Burning Questions

I'm hopeless at calculations like that, I only guess thechange started some time Saturday night. Bella is an amazing newborn, but then, we all knew that. Poor Jasper, he still can't understand how Bella can be this controlled right after waking up. It still hasn't dawned on Edward what this pull is between him and Bella. Big dummy! Just kidding.

Reviewer: k1942 (Signed) · Date: March 07, 2012 04:30 PM · On: Chapter 4: No...

Bella's transformation is so different compared to the tales of Esme, Rosalie and Emmett's. Of course, we've always known she's a special girl, and not just because Edward loves her. He had  good arguments for them staying in Forks, but I kind of wish he could have told Carlisle the basic reason.

Reviewer: k1942 (Signed) · Date: March 07, 2012 03:58 PM · On: Chapter 3: Dear Father, I Pray for Your Forgiveness

I'm guessing the reason Edward doesn't recognize  his feelings for what they are, is that he's not felt that kind of love before. I hope it dawns on him sooner rather than later, but knowing Edward, he'll fight it. Carlisle and Esme immediately saw the signifigance, but his siblings are a mixed bag. I think it's hypocritical of them  to castigate him, when he's always been there for them. At least Alice is for him.
