I liked this chapter a lot. It was nice to get into Bella's head a bit- she's very conflicted, and whereas before I thought she was just being bitchy, now you've helped me to understand her thought process. I think (hope) Edward will agree to donate a painting in exchange for a date with Bella. It's time these two started listening to eachother. Edward will have to be Patientward though, b/c Bella has some thick armor!!!

Hmmm...i am really enjoying this story. I'm not sure if Lauren is going to be the typically vindictive "B" and throw her little "tryst" with Edward in Bella's face. Most likely though. lol. I can't wait for the next chapter :)

Pleased that he is keen to say sorry to her, but surpried that Emmett would think them a good match to start with considering how much of a whore Edward is. I would have thought the last thing Emmett would want to see would be Bella hurt & used by a notorious womanizer.
Who is Emmett to Bella? a brother? Friend? I must have missed it. :)
Still an enjoyable chapter to read - I liked Edward's voice ;P

It's all explained a bit later-but Emmett is a friend that Rose and Bella met while at UBC(University of British Columbia)-He's only known Edward for a few weeks-Edward is doing a bit of design work for him, so he doesn't exactly know that he's been a womanizer lately. So evil, Bella has had the self-righteous upper hand but that is about to change! And the more I think about it, the more it makes sense that an artist would be bale to take what Bella views as a defect and turn it into beauty or accept her "otherness". Thanks for the rapid update!

Towards the beginning Edward overuses the word "recently" otherwise this was very well written. While i don't like Edward (yet), I can tell he has potential. Both characters seem fun and worthy of reading.

This is amazingly raw, i love that they are at each other's throats from the beginning - but oh my is there a spark there or what!
