I can't study at all....I kept saying to myself that this chapter is my reward..and I couldn't do it. Edward in a towel.......really? You are killing me. I think I drooled a little bit when I was reading. ok I drooled a lot ...........

although i agree that bella shouldn't have been in his studio, he didn't have to blow up at her then practically run her over. she ain't no jane or lauren. she's definitely more delicate and edward is handling his assholeness with anything but tact. someone get him the guidebook on gentlemently manners and what to do when you fuck things up and desperetly need to make things better.
he hurt her feelings and she still came back! that is true dedication to the Foundation! mad props!

Ahhhh! As an artist, I just want to scream at Edward, that if he's so professional, that he should have an understanding set up with Jane that HE CONTACTS HER when he's ready and that her contacting him whenever she wants to is counter productive to his artistic frame of mind. And if she needs to contact him, then he has a phone message service set up where she can leave messages for him to check, so it doesn't disturb his process. Maybe you could write that in? Please let Edward put Jane in her place? Ok, stepping off soap box now. Thank you for this moment of rant.
Author's Response: Hi there! Thanks so much for your review! Exactly!- The thing with these two, is the professional lines that should have been there disappeared as soon as they slept together. Jane is, obviously wanting more from Edward than his paintings and has definately over stepped her bounds. He did kick her out and we'll see more of Incontrolward as we move along. Looking forward to reading about Bella's POV on the chpater, although you haven't specified whether it'll be a recount from her view of the whole argument and her fall; or whether it'll follow on directly from Bella offering to Edward to touch her leg. :)

Just read this from chapter one to this chapter (chapter 9) - I like the way that Edward keeps making himself look like and idiot in front of Bella.

Honestly? I'm kinda horrified at Alice right now. She doesn't care about Edward and Lauren? Its ok to her that Edward has been pursuing Bella but was still prepared to mess around with Lauren? She blithely excuses it and starts planning against Bella's wishes? Its like she's more desparate for Bella to have a date than Bella is! I would have liked to have thought she would want a guy Bella was dating to have a bit more respect for her. Or at least be less of a manwhore!! Ugh.
Sorry to rant. I have no problem with Alice helping Bella see her true feelings for Edward more clearly BUT I just feel like Alice also needs to support her friend in her decision...Edward has issues and he needs to learn to deal with them in a healthier manner before he can really be good for Bella.
Looking forward to seeing where you go with Edward's reaction to what just happened!

He's been selfish, thinking only about himself for the longest time. Don't apologize! I love that our dear Alice produced a reaction like that :) Oh, Alice-she seems quick to excuse Edward's behaviour-its the first time that Bella has had such an emotional reaction to a man since the accident. Bella did say that she may not do everything that Alice would like her to. I didn't include the details of the master plan here-wanted to keep that a bit of a mystery, but we'll see that its not just all about Bella forgiving Edward with no questions asked. Hey Hey! Good to see Bella admit that she likes Edward, but what the hell was Edward thinking?! Now he's royally screwed it up with Bella, and has to prove himself even harder to her. Perhaps that's a good thing... I don't know. Keen to see where you take them next time and how tense/awkward sitting for the painting is going to be. :D

God, could he be any dumber? You don't run after the woman you want when she catches you with your pants open and someone's hands inside them! The only thing that could be said for Edward is he is of very weak character. What did he do afterward? Probably went back and found Lisa! What should he have done? I have too many sayings that start with Go and end up with yourself or off a cliff! How is he going to fix this? I can't wait to find out!
