hahahahaha, Jane got BURNED by Edward. I can't believe she's so loopy as to think she can be biting off his head one moment and then thinking she can get into his pants to relieve his 'tension'. WTF woman! Have you no shame?!
*sigh* I can just picture in my head what Bella got to see when he opened up the door to greet her. *purrs* Damn, how did she not melt into a puddle on the floor? He was like all disheveled and worked up....
CANNOT wait to see what Bella's reaction to the artwork is!

What a wonderful take on the Edward and Bella story. You're doing a great job of building an original relationship between them. I've read several fanfics with Edward as an artist, and yours is nothing like the others, which were also wonderful.You're also using the minor charcters, especially Jane, to great effect.
It's such a treat to find a story like yours. I'm looking forward to future chapters.

This was a great chapter - I really hope that Bella is going to not only like but in some way understand Edwards paintings.

Who cares what she thinks of the paintings, not everyone understands or appreciates abstract art. The more important thing is that she is opening herself to someone for the first time in a long time and in the process possibly helping Edward open up as well.
Author's Response: HI there, Thanks for reading and reviewing. You're right - the important part is that she's letting herself feel something and giving him a chance. Who cares what she thinks of the paintings? Edward certainly does. He's worried that it's going to overwhelm her because they are so intense and emotionally driven. He's afraid she's going to push him away, but he also knows he needs to show her. This is a massive step for both of them...hopefully they can learn something from each other. Cheers, Leslie

i was half right - he didn't jack off lol but he did go paint.
maybe i'm a little naiive, but does doing one piece outside of a collection really bring down the value of your work? it is one of those - you have too many paintings out there so each one is worth a little less. i would think that doing something good for charity would look good? no?
jane is nasty. her and james belong together. she is too harsh for sweet edward, although it seems there he wasn't always that way.
i think/hope bella loves the painting. like edward said - it is all about how you interpret the piece. =)

Wow another amazing chapter! I can't wait to see what Bella's reaction to the painting will be, will she even understand what she is seeing? You add so much depth to Edward and Bella with each chapter, they really do draw you in and you can't help but want them to find relief in each other. Eagerly awaiting another chapter! :-)

Bella needs to get some new friends. Rose and Alice are really annoying and have big mouths in this story. Rose just couldn't keep quiet and had to go invite James into the auction. I can't wait to see how Edward reacts to this bit of information.

Oooh...juicy stuff :) I don't trust James as far as I could throw him and Jane seems like a right royal biatch who'd stomp all over Edward in a second if it was to her own benefit.
Can't wait til they have dinner together...although i hope if Bella reveals James' participation in the auction that it doesn't ruin their dinner plans.
I can't help but feel for Bella....Rose & Alice together are a force to be reckoned with and it appears Bella just isn't used to being in this kind of 'morning after' conversation with her girlies. Major LOLs at Rose's offer of her condom stash :P
