Argh. You did it AGAIN!!! Such an amazing chapter, and then - a cliffie. It's James, right? He came either to see or, worse, to destroy the new collection. I'm sure of it.
Finally Bella and Edward took the next step in their relationship. It was perfect. And many may consider it thoughtlessness on Edward's part that he keeps forgetting about the necessities of life with a prosthetic, but I think it's charming. It shows that in his eyes, the prosthetic, although it's an important part of Bella, isn't a defining part of her. I like that :-)
Thanks for updating, I'm very much looking forward to the next chapter, oh evil writer of evil cliffies ;-)

You did a fantastic job of creating very eccentric characters in Renee and Phil! The dinner was hilarious, and I could relate with Edward - having been in situations like that before :)

Wonderful chapter. I loved the description of how he feels for Bella at the beginning, and how he's processing these new feelings. God, the gathering at Jessica's was so uncomfortable; I was squirming at the prickly, insincere interactions between them all. Edward definitely didn't belong there.
And Bella's bravery when she confronted the mountain and won... beautifully written.
I really love this story. The whole Edward-Jane-James thing has me wound up. I can't wait for the auction--I have a feeling that will be quite the night.

There are so many different scenerios you could have taken here. I like what you chose. I know Jane and James aren't done, but I love that you gave Edward his much deserved acknowledgement with the art world and the lovely reunion with Bella. The fact that he was there to help her overcome her tragic accident. It was truly beautiful.
Absolutely one of my favorite stories. They are so imperfect in so many ways, yet their love is growing into something completely perfect. I am not sure where you plan on wrapping this up. I do hope it has a long way to go I feel like there is still a lot of story to tell and I will be with you every step of the way.
Thank you for sharing your amazing gift of writing and using our favorite characcters to do so. Absolutely breathtaking.

Alot of people have their views on these two, that they should be a certain way, or not react the way they do, but honestly, you understand them so well. They are imperfect, both haunted by different demons that they need to overcome.

This was a very emotional chapter. Bella's triumph was so cathartic.

Bloody hell. Seriously, how do you do it?
All the while we're thinking who's in Bella's bedroom, Edward's talking to the art people, wanting to be with Bella. Crap. That James has got his picture there is weird. But what do I know about art? Nothing. So I won't be ignorant and say my opinion on his picture. What's one man's art is another man's rubbish and everyone has the right to their own opinion.
I'm glad it was Edward in Bella's room, but boy did you frighten me? I think his surprise backfired a little. Wow, poor Bella, going back to the mountain where she lost her leg. That takes some courage, but Edward gave her the fighting spirit to do it.

hhmm...i had a theory that it may have been Lauren that was behind everything...but now...i'm not really sure i think that. i don't even think that bella is really the target. maybe they're going after bella to take away edward's passion for painting...his muse...his inspiration...hhmmm....
that being said, i am so glad that bella was able to overcome her demons. it would be absolutely terrifying to have to go through something like that. but to come out of it on the other side with a huge support system holding you and helping you any way they can...that is amazing! such a passionate chapter! I can't wait til the next one!!
