Hey girl! Amazing chapter, this one. English is not my firts language, and I know nothong of ice or ficure skating, so the people around me when I was reading this must have thought I was crazy, always jumping from here to youtube to search for the moves you described. i really enjoyed reading this, esoecially the progression of the relationship between Bella and Edward. I've always hated when other stories make them jump steps, making the story hard to believe. it's always like this: "hi, I'm Bella! Hi I'm Edward!", and boom, 5 minutes later they are kissing, declaring their unending love about each other without even knowing each others personalities! You're not like that, and thanks for it.

About "Fandom Gives Back", I really would like to contribute and bid on your story, but I don't know if I can (I can only be in college thanks to a scholarship, and money isn't really abundant around here, but I'll see what I can do).

Keep writting this amazing story (wich I admit, I've been promoting a little when someone asks me for a good story), and well "see" eachother next update!

Geenie :*

Love the story and your versions of Edward and Bella! As a fan of ice skating it's great to read a story that incorporates both elements into it. Plus who doesn't love Hockeyward?

I've been following this story for about a week now and I was so excited when a new chapter was posted. I am so in love with the scene of Bella and Edward together on the ice; it made my heart completely melt. And I love the song, it was a fabulous choice.

Kudos to you for incluing one of my fave Rob sights, Flannel Rob on the floor FTMFW!

Here’s your teaser for Chapter 6:

The next text had come the following morning after they’d departed on their road trip. He'd sent me a picture message of a cornfield with a note that read, Greetings from picturesque Iowa.

He continued to send me updates throughout their trip of road signs and small monuments as they journeyed to Tennessee where they'd be playing the Nashville Predators that night before heading north to Ohio before returning late Thursday. Apparently the guys caught on because Edward's notes became interspersed with self-portraits of Emmett making funny faces and suggestive comments; he even managed to send me a shot he'd snapped of Edward, an adorable scowl on his face and his arm stretched out like he was trying to swipe his phone back. I set it to come up every time I'd receive an incoming call from him.

All Emmett needed was one of the figure-skating costumes. I can totally picture him wearing one. He is hysterical! And the kiss was so sweet and cute :)

oh please, could she be any more depressing?!?!?!?! sure there was cuteness and that was all cute but hell, she's going on my nerves with the pity party...i mean self-doubting yourself is alright, who doesn't from time to time but girl, you taking it to a level where it's not just hurting you but people around you - in this case a nice guy who's obviously way too understanding and on right on track to get his heart broken...thing is, i don't know if i can respect somebody who doesn't even fight - and no with her self-pity she doesn't fight...she's excusing her fear of letting herself fall with being not good enough when it's just a fact that she's not brave enough...

I just wanted to comment on what you mentioned. Yes, Bella is in a bad place right now. She hasn't had a lot of social interactions, especially with guys. The one person she's really been around her entire life has belittled her and beaten her down. So yes, she's insecure and doesn't have much confidence off the ice. On the ice she's always felt confident, but that was shaken up when she was injured. Bella has work to do, she has progress she needs to make and she knows it. To me, that's fair of her not to just jump into a relationship when she's not ready for one. It's still early in her journey and she'll get there eventually. I'm sorry you're frustrated with her. Hopefully some light will be shed in this next chapter.

At least the guys were suitably impressed with her one legged skating tricks. And the imagine of Emmett trying is awesome.

I'm glad Bella didn't believe everythign those women were saying too. And honestly, while it is up to him and she does make him happy, in a way she's right. She isn't his emotional equal. She's got some growing up to do. First huge step was telling him where she's at rather than just blowing him off.

Until then, I'd be happy to keep Edward company.
