As for your last question...I LOVE the Audrey/Edward interactions!!  I am dying to know what he heard.  Can't wait to keep reading.

Oh no.. she slipped! What will happen now? Not sure what to say.. I liked the chapter.. especially how Audrey wants to stay honest and open up as much as she can to Charlie. Other than her little slip up or two, she's going about this much better than Bella did. I like that they seem to be on the road to how you said it, a much healthier relationship. Anyways, good work.. can't wait for more!! :-)

I like the idea of Edward and Audrey communicating through notes. Edward seemed to enjoy leaving notes in Twilight so I think it would be in his character to do the same for Audrey.

Yes. She definitely slipped, but it was bound to happen at some point.

I'm glad that you like Audrey's decision to be honest with Charlie.

I think Audrey's character sort of demands a healthier relationship between her and Edward if you get what I mean. It's nice to know that you can see that they're on that path.

I came across your story today and Im really enjoying it. Three pages already!?OMG what a waste =-P (unless in the book it explains Audrey's backgroound and how she came to live in Forks and family descriptions,etc, that setting is necessary and it consumes space...)

Gah! The holiday season has really been hectic so far... and it's only just begun. Anyway... a little bit of time for fanfic. :)

The chit chat with Edward and the "get to know you" questions were nice, but I guess I see this chapter as kind of a transition chapter--to start to turn the story towards something that will begin to pick up the pace. There were a lot of things in here that left a lot of questions with no clear answers. I started going all "Star Trek" with ideas for explanations... a rip in the space/time continuum? Audrey, being clearly from another reality or dimension of sorts, and Edward catching snipets of her "past" in that reality and not so much her actual thoughts in this one... Alice seeing pieces of her future in that other reality--all this makes me think that they are picking up the signal of that other world. But what would allow that? I think that much of the Cullens' theory on it is wrong and naturally flawed because they do not have all the information--or accurate information for that matter. Hmm.

I wonder when she's going to warn the Cullens about James and Company moving through the area...

Well, I hope your holiday season actually ends up being a holiday! We don't have thanksgiving here, but I can imagine how hectic a few major celebrations can be one after the other.

I've never been more impressed by someone's reasoning when it comes to Page Turner.

She will warn the Cullens, eventually. Give Audrey a chance to really get to know the Cullens first.

Wow!  I just discovered your story and boy am I hooked!  Read the whole thing last night,  it definitely lives up to it's title! Can't wait until the update.  I am pulling for Audrey,  never thought I'd be going against Bella! :)  One of the best I have read! Please keep 'em coming!

So happy to see this updated! I know she misses her parents, but how would she want to go home eventually if it means leaving Edward?

You bring up an interesting conundrum. How can Audrey choose between Edward and her family? Audrey probably wouldn't want to go home. But what is her home? Another question is will she actually have a choice?

I really like that Edward isn't opposed to the whole touching hands.. he's not as reserved as he is with Bella.. maybe it's because Audrey already knows everything or maybe because he just acts differently around Audrey.. who knows.. of course you do! lol.. It is strange that Edward picks up on those thoughts, but there is an explanation for it, which will be revealed in due course. In the meantime, see if you can puzzle it out.

I thought it was the right time for Edward and Audrey to hold hands. It's a very innocent but comforting gesture. Edward isn't as reserved with Audrey because Audrey already knows his secrets. He was wary of touching Bella before she told him that she thought he was a vampire. I thought that Edward would feel more comfortable with someone who knew who he truly was. Plus, Audrey is different than Bella.

Lol. Yes. I do know - one would hope that I'd know! lol
